5. Dinner

Mike drove down the street of the compound where Florence and Elis lived in his elite car.

"Surely he's not far from here yet" he murmured while looking left and right.

The universe seems to be reuniting them. Mike finds Lauren sitting on a park bench. He held onto a single stalk of jasmine flower and stared at the flower with a cry.

Mike pulled the car over and walked over to Lauren.

"I still owe you." He took out a handkerchief from his black suit pocket.

Lauren looks up. His gaze was so empty. He also ran out of energy to wipe away his tears.

"Take it!" Mike's Word.

Lauren was still silent with her blank look. His hand did not move at all to pick up the handkerchief that Mike had handed over. And again, his mouth was still silent without a word.

Realizing Lauren's blank stare, Mike wiped away her tears. He gasps because his cheek has been touched by Mike and pulls back his head.

"Why are you here again?"

"I still have a debt to you" said repeating the previous words, because Lauren's mind was still dragged in another world.

"What?"

Mike was sitting next to Lauren, now their eyes met. "Eat. I'll treat you."

Lauren took her eyes off Mike. He looked straight ahead. "Go! I'm not hungry anymore."

"Based on this goddamn worm stomach why don't you shut up anyway?" his mind curses. His stomach embarrassed him and Mike laughed at him.

"The mouth can lie sweetly, but the worms in your stomach can't lie" he said. "By eat!" later decree.

As a result, Lauren receded without fighting back, because of her stomach that led her not to reject Mike's invitation.

"Why did you bring me here?" Lauren's eye beads look to all sides of this fancy restaurant. It was very foreign to him to eat in expensive restaurants.

Mike ignored Lauren's words, he gawked to take a seat. Lauren who had seen the amazement of the restaurant also followed Mike, because he did not want to get lost.

"Why?" mike asked when they were sitting down. He immediately called out to the waiter of the restaurant with his five fingers waving in the air.

"Why not eat on the side of the road? It must be expensive" said Lauren who felt reluctant.

Mike smiled and chose to heed the girl's words. Shortly, the waiter arrived.

"Good Night. What message do you want, Mr and Madam?" tanyanya was friendly. He handed me a book containing a food menu.

Lauren and Mike picked up the book.

"Shrimp, chicken, salmon each 1 serving. Special tomato beef soup 1 serving. Special fried squid 1 serving," said Mike. "What do you want to eat? Order it!" he said to Lauren.

"anything. I'm confused" Lauren said innocently.

"Is there a seafood allergy?"

Lauren shook her head to answer Mike's question.

"Like a vermicelli?"

Lauren nodded.

"Bihun fried seafoodnya 1 serving. The grilled duck rice is 1 serving," Mike told the waiter to order more food.

"White rice how many servings, sir?" ask waiter.

"One serving of it."

"What's the drink for, sir, madam?"

"Any white water," said Lauren who made Mike snort. How can you order expensive food, but drink water?

"Okay please wait. Excuse me first." The waiter left and Mike didn't notice it because his brain was preoccupied with hiding his embarrassment.

He also looked at Lauren who was now pounding the horse without feeling embarrassed in the slightest.

"Excuse me. Would the Ladies and Gentlemen take this fruit salad?" bargain waiters who go around the restaurant offering the food they bring.

"It's on sale?" lauren whispered to Mike.

"If you want to take it. There will be a lot of waiters offering food" Mike replied.

"Yes, this fruit salad is one yes, Ma'am," said Lauren pointed to the fruit salad she wanted. The waiter put the fruit salad on the table. "You hinged?" ask Mike.

"Relgan."

"This is it, sir, Madam?" ask the waiter again.

"Yes, Mother. Thank you" said Lauren softly and politely. The servant left them.

Lauren took a spoon and ate the fruit salad she had chosen earlier. He loves fruit salad.

"Such a boy" he said as a spoonful of salad passed through his throat.

He ate voraciously and Mike rebuked him. "Eat it slowly."

Lauren's pissing but she's not listening to Mike. As a result, he was crushed.

Fate is on Lauren's side. Fortunately, there was a waiter who just delivered water and put it on the table. If the waiter doesn't come, he can choke her to death.

Mike and Lauren take a glass of water at the same time. Lauren's hand touched Mike's hand under his.

They looked at her and hurriedly moved Lauren away her hand.

Mike smiled and gave the glass to Lauren. "Other times if you say don't nyeyel," he sneered.

Lauren takes the glass Mike gave her and drinks it straight away. After drinking one glass without stopping, he said, "Hunger," Lauren said.

Arriving in the car, Mike asked Lauren, "Where is your house? I'll take you home."

"Where is your house?"

"I don't have a house here."

"Continue?"

"I came from out of town, and just moved to Depok. His intention was to find a boarding place. Apparently there are problems in many ways," said Lauren.

"Where do you want to find a boarding place?"

"On the road of the Margonda Kingdom. You know the place, right?"

Mike nodded, "Tau. It's not far from here. About 10 minutes until." After that he drove his car towards the road that the girl mentioned earlier. He knows all the roads in Depok, because he used to live here and he often stopped by this city to just let go of his workload.
