Mr. Mattew who heard the immediate rejection from his son's future wife, stared intently. He felt humiliated by the rejection, as if he and his family were not respected. Though it was obvious he asked in a good way either, but was everything met with contempt.

Miss Rebecca and Lady Sonia, did you not see and read the agreement correctly? So you forget the points below," said Mr. Mattew so they read again with the letter of agreement.

Hearing Mr. Mattew as if insinuating him could not read properly, Sonia and Rebecca again read the entire contents of the agreement made by her husband/father.
