Zevanno's Love Memory

Zevanno's Love Memory
Complementing Each Other

Still on the way to more crowded hamlets or villages. The place where Zura used to shop for home and kitchen needs. Some passersby looked at them strangely, some were indifferent and some were immediately sneering. However, Zura did not mind that, he was already used to their scorn and dislike gaze. Especially now that Zura was carrying a man. It was obvious that bad thoughts were directly lodged in those people's brains.

It had been fifteen minutes they walked, even Evan had also started to feel tired. Because this was the first time he had gone far.

"We've arrived?" evan asked when he had heard many people's voices and also the sound of motor vehicles.

"Yes, we've reached the village. It's called Nateh village. The population is crowded, and here also sometimes there are tourists who visit to just see the suspension bridge," said Zura.

Evan just nodded slowly, as much as possible he walked carefully so as not to stumble. Because already several times he almost fell due to stumbling stone or uneven ground.

However, just said Evan had tripped on a rock to make him almost fall. But luckily, Zura held Evan's arm swiftly. Although they almost fell, but lucky to still be detained.

"Sorry" said Evan. For the umpteenth time. Not angry, but Zura laughed.

"Father, I also have eyes that sometimes like to stumble," replied Zura. "Yuk soon we reach the shop," Zura invited back to lead Evan to the grocery store in front of there.

However, suddenly their footsteps instantly came to a halt upon hearing a sneer from someone.

"Well, it fits. No one is healthy, the blind are so hooked," said Anika, the daughter of the village chief who always likes to patronize Zura. I don't know why he hated Zura so much. Zura never mentioned it at all.

"Who is he?" ask Evan.

"Nobody, we go again" replied Zura who again grabbed Evan's hand and led him to the stall.

But, it wasn't Anika's name if she wasn't satisfied to bother Zura.

"Beautiful, cute, white, dashing, but darling, blind," Hina Anika back.

Zura sighed in annoyance and immediately looked at Anika fixedly, making the girl instantly smile cynically.

"What's? I don't like to say that your crush is like that, reality is, right," said Anika with a haughty face.

Some of the people in the stall just looked on without wanting to interfere. In fact, not infrequently some of them also directly talk about Zura and foreign men who they think are Zura's toys.

"Sir, you can insult me. But don't insult Evan. He's like this because of an accident, too" said Zura.

Evan instantly fell silent at Zura's defense. However, he could do nothing when he heard the cynical laughter of the foreign girl.

"A reason, it's only natural, you and your grandmother were exiled if they like men in the house. His job is just for zina, "hardik Anika again.

Zura let out a sigh of resignation and shook his head slowly. If served, Anika's insults will never end.

"Can't you speak a little good?" now Evan is speaking.

Of course when hearing Evan's words, Anika increasingly laughed cynically.

"Well, I can talk too. Cool, I thought I was just blind" he replied.

"Udah Van, we'll go shopping." Zura immediately pulled Evan's arm to leave from the face of Anika who was still laughing at him. He was already caught off guard and only made his heart hurt if it continued to be served.

"But his words have really gone too far, Zura." Evan still looks upset. However, he just kept on walking after Zura.

"It's okay, he is. You wait here first yes, I shop for a while," Zura said as she sat Evan in a chair. And then he left Evan there.

Evan sighed, he could faintly hear the people around him talking about Zura as well as himself. But, what can Evan do now? He's blind, even for the sake of just moving on Evan doesn't dare. He was afraid that it would make Zura even harder. Although Evan was actually really hot with the sneers of those people.

...

This is where Evan and Zura are. Sitting by the river with the water flowing fast and so much excitement.

"Well, what's your leg?" zura asked as she rubbed Evan's knee which she straightened.

"Perhaps because it goes a long way, it feels very stiff" replied Evan.

"It's okay, consider it a sport so as not to be tense and can be strong again" said Zura.

Evan just nodded slowly. He again enjoyed the fresh air and the fragrant aroma of river water that was still refreshing. Letting the cold wind blow his face.

"Zura," called Evan suddenly.

Zura who was removing something from the plastic bag turned to Evan.

"What's wrong?" ask Zura.

"Why are you silent when those people insult you?" ask Evan.

Zura looked stunned, but a moment later he immediately smiled faintly and shook his head slowly. "There's no need to be retorted, there's nothing I can be proud of to defend myself, Van." replied Zura.

"You are a strong girl" said Evan. And of course Evan's words made Zura again stunned and snorted a smile.

"You think it's like that?" ask Zura.

Evan nodded softly, "yes, everyone is hostile towards you, everyone is excommunicating you. But you can still laugh and smile like this" Evan replied.

"Then what should I do? Sad continue? Crying?" ask Zura. He shook his head slowly and spoke again. "I'm sure God is all-good Van. He gave us this kind of suffering, but someday he will definitely love something beautiful for me and Grandma" Zura said.

This time it was Evan who was stunned, Zura's words were quite capable of silencing his heart which was always complaining about his current state. He felt like he was the saddest man in the world. But Zura, even his life was no less miserable. Shouldn't Evan be embarrassed?

"Have not thought about it, now just assume we complement each other. I am with you, and you are with me. Impas right," said Zura.

Evan smiled faintly and nodded softly, "Yes, thank you for accompanying me" Evan said.

Zura chuckled and patted Evan on the shoulder for a moment. "I also thank you for fighting for my life, and for being my friend now" Zura replied.

Yes, who does not feel sad if ostracized from the surrounding environment. Hated by everyone, it has always been the subject of insults. But life goes on. Zura is unlikely to dissolve in sadness continuously. Especially now that there was Evan, who even though he was blind, but was quite able to turn Zura's days into a little meaningful.

"Later if you remember everything, you still want to be friends with me, right Van?" ask Zura.

"Of course, if I recover, I promise to repay all your kindness" Evan replied.

"Reply with what?" ask Zura

"Whatever you ask, I will do" replied Evan.

Zura laughed again softly hearing that. "I just want you to never forget me if you go away and go back to your family one day" Zura said.

"No, no" answered Evan. Sounds so sure. But ... Can you be sure if it all comes back?
