Chapter 93 Season 2 chap 26 Engagement Irene & Jerome

This morning Ashley and her husband came to attend Irene's engagement party with Jerome. The pregnant woman is now wearing low heel. They were on their way to the beach, where the party was held outdoor.

Getting out of the car, the couple rushed into the area and sat in one of the seats provided. Only family guests, cousins and friends were present at the Irene and Jerome events.

Mr. Revan, Jerome's parents opened the show. After giving a word of welcome alternately with the candidate of his besi.

Now Irene and Jerome have exchanged rings. The sound of applause enlivened the engagement of the two. Jerome noticed the look on her fiance's face.

"Aren't we in agreement, you should smile baby girl." whispered Jerome softly.

Irene let out a long sigh, she immediately showed her smile in public. They let the guests enjoy the dishes. The couple approached their family.

Ashley congratulated Irene and Jerome. Irene hugged Ashley briefly and rubbed her best friend's stomach. The two chatted while sitting on a chair.

"Rene, is there something you're thinking? " ask Ashley.

"Eh no Ash. "elak Irene with a smile.

"A long time ago, we did not talk like this" said Irene, who was taken by Ashley. Now the two women are busy gossiping. Both of them then rose up, choosing to go along the beach both.

Now they sit in long chairs, enjoying the air that hits the smooth skin of both of them. The two share the grievances with each other.

"Don't forget that you're married to Jero, you invited me and Felix yes" teased Ashley.

"But I still doubt, my past is so dark" said Irene, who spoke of her past. Ashley was of course shocked, her eyes looking glassy hearing Irene's confession just now.

"O Lord Rene, you should have said the same to me. "said Ashley with a soft look.The pregnant woman then hugged the friend.

"I'm fine Ash, just need to organize my life with a heart" he said with a smile. They both chose to return to the venue. Ashley took a cookie from her husband.

While Ivy's mother congratulated her daughter and future daughter-in-law. Irene doesn't talk as much as she used to, she's quieter.

"Honey, mommy can't wait for you to wear a wedding dress later" said Mami Ivy.

"But the matter of marriage is still too far away mami. I'm not ready for marriage yet" Irene said. All eyes looked towards him especially Jerome and his parents.

But Irene did not explain anything to Jerome's family and family. Mami Ivy let out a long sigh, her heart hurt again seeing her reluctant daughter open a new leaf.

"Sorry Aunt, I will not force Irene to marry me either. "said Jerome with a faint smile.

"Thank you son for the understanding. " said Mrs Ivy. Jerome gave a small nod, his focus now on Irene.

Irene chose to eat the cake then gulped down the vodka with a straight forward look. He looked down, staring at the ring embedded in his finger.

The party ended in the afternoon. Their parents have come home, now the two couples stop by first to a luxury restaurant.

Irene ordered a strawberry waffle and a Strawberry Latte. She loves strawberries. The woman also ordered for her best friend but there was no strawberry. Ashley could only sigh in resignation, the pregnant woman wanted the latte Irene ordered.

"It's a shame you can't drink coffee" Felix reminded his wife.

"Look, I know. " Afley sipped her warm tea slowly. Irene chuckled softly looking at Ashley's lethargic face.

They had lunch together first and then had a chat. The two women were busy chatting with each other to the point of ignoring their respective partners.

Jerome clasped his fiancee's hand. Irene was surprised, reflexively pulling her hand. Ashley who saw him let out a long sigh again.

"Rene, all these men are not the same as you think they are" Ashley said.

"Try making peace with yourself and the past. Instead you will be tormented by yourself if you continue to be shackled by the past. "wisely rebuke Ashley.

Irene pursed her lips. He took the advice Ashley gave him. Ashley went back to silence, she gave room for Irene to think. She understood how Irene was feeling at this moment who was still in doubt.

The men themselves chose silence, both of them did not want to interrupt the chatter of their wives.

"I'm really not ready to have a relationship with a man, especially with Jerome" he murmured again. There was a sound of heavy breathing out of Irene's lips.

"I'm sorry if this sounds cruel, her voice always casts a shadow in her mind.****, the word that rings in my head" Irene lamented.

The beautiful woman revealed her heart in front of Jerome and the others. Finished talking Irene went back silent for a moment and drank her strawberry latte.Ashley himself could not help but cry to see her friend so suffering.

Jerome immediately called the waiter and handed him a piece of money. They went out from there, got into each other's cars. There was no conversation between Irene and Jerome.

Irene closed her eyes, she felt tired of her body and soul. Without realizing it, he fell asleep. A few minutes later Jerome stopped his car in the courtyard of Wayne's residence.

The handsome man turned his head, watching his sleeping fiancee. Jerome quickly removed his seatbelt. He grabbed Irene's body into his arms.

"You must have been so tormented that you closed your heart so tightly." Jerome murmured as he kissed Irene on the forehead. The man took the woman outside slowly. Jerome went straight into the mansion belonging to the family of his future father-in-law.

After obtaining Jerome's permission, Irene headed to the woman's room. She laid Irene on the woman's bed.Jerome clasped her fiance's hand, kissing her repeatedly gently.

"I promise I will help you forget your past Rene." Jerome murmured solemnly.

"After this there is only happiness between us. I will make sure you are always happy with me! " close.

She kissed Irene on the forehead and got up and out of her room. After Jerome's departure, Irene opened her eyes without saying anything.

"I don't deserve you Jero! " murm Irene.
