100 MAGICAL PLANTS
BEGINNING STORY

A sunny morning in the scavenger slums. The sun was rising in the east, the birds were chirping, and the working people were leaving for work. A young man named Darma Satria awakens from his sleep.

Darma is a tall man with a height of 170 cm, mature brown skin, long hair, tattered and torn clothes, and a shabby and shabby appearance. He was 19 years old. He has been an orphan since he was 7 years old.

His father died when he was 2 years old, while his mother died when he was 7 years old or more precisely 5 years after his father died. After his father and mother died, his house was evicted because of its location on the edge of the times.

Since then he has been a child. At the age of 7, he walked begging for food. But as there was no good man, until he fell asleep on the road no one would give him money or food.

Finally Darma met a middle-aged couple on the side of the road. Then Darma was invited to stay with them because of pity for Darma who was a child who was a street child.

At the age of 15, her mother and foster father died after being hit by a vehicle while crossing. Since then he lived in the cardboard house and worked like his foster parents were scavengers. Although not in school, he still got a written reading education from his adoptive father who used to go to school until Junior High.

Darma wakes up and walks out of the house to wash his face. After washing his face, Darma also took a cart and tools to scavenge the others. He walked through a dirt road full of holes because it was the only road housing the scavenger.

Darma runs from one trash can to the surrounding garbage bins. He checks every trash that can still be taken from the homes of residents, sometimes some allow it, some do not allow it, and some do not care.

The garbage he took was garbage that can be recycled such as plastic bottles, plastic cups, and others that can be taken. His garbage paradise is in a landfill about 3 KM from his house. He had to pull the cart to the TPA.

This time he walked to the Final Dumping Place because there was definitely a lot of plastic waste, he walked through a special pedestrian street on the side of the road wearing used shoes that he found in the TPA.

20 Minutes later

He also arrived at the TPA and he immediately pushed his cart to the nearest area of the garbage pile. The stench of trash was his daily food. The very pungent smell was the scent he inhaled every day, therefore it was already very friendly to any smell.

"Have you come to Dar?"ask a middle-aged man in a long brown dress, black training pants, boots, and hats like a Japanese army hat.

"Sir, sir" said Darma smiling and continuing his activities.

"Have breakfast?"ask the man named Narto.

"No sir yet" said Darma, taking a bag containing a white box.

"Breakfast first!later you faint" said Pak Narto opening a garbage bag nearby.

Darma also opened the white box, the box contains fried tofu which is still 5 pieces. Darma took the box and put it in his cart. There are two boxes, one of which is fried tofu. He took another box and opened it.

The box contained cold water, and Darma picked it up and put it in the cart. Then he looked for a bottle that still had water around the place. Whether because he was lucky or was in his moment, he found a bag of mineral water glass as much as 2 pcs. Then Darma picked it up and put it in the wagon.

"Sir, I went to the cottage first huh. Get a free breakfast here."sajar Darma pulled his wagon toward a building made of wood, tarpaulin roof, and walled edges as well.

After walking for about 100 meters, he arrived at that place. Darma sat down and put the white box on the table in front of him, he sat down and washed his hands.

He opened one of the boxes in front of him. The first box that he opened contained a cold bakwan, Darma also ate the bakwan very delicious because his stomach was very hungry because of last night had not eaten.

Within 10 minutes, Darma finished the entire meal in front of him. After that Darma continued to scavenge the garbage because the day had begun to day and the sun had started to feel the heat.

3 Hours later

After collecting garbage, Darma managed to collect a cart full of recycled garbage. He also came out of the TPA and walked to the recycling waste deposit which is one KM from the TPA.

Tired and thirsty, Darma stopped under a tree in front of a restaurant. In front of him there is a water faucet that can be used for free, Darma also drank from the tap water because he was very thirsty.

"Excuse me!"a woman said to Darma.

"Yes, how can I help you?"ask Darma to the woman.

"This is a little food for mas and this is the drink, accepted ya mas!"said the woman dressed in office, beautiful, ideal posture, short, white, red bando image mini mouse.

"Thank you brother, may your sustenance be smooth." said Darma smiling at the woman.

"Yes mas, aamiin." said the woman smiled then she returned to her car which stopped right in front of Darma.

After the woman left, Darma intended to open the food. But at the same time appeared an old grandmother with worn clothes and wrinkles that seemed clear from all over her body.

"Cu, can Grandma ask him to eat?because grandma has not eaten 2 days."asked the grandmother standing with a hunched position while holding her cane.

"Satian also this grandmother has not eaten 2 days, but I am hungry because I have not had lunch. Where was just eating fried food."batin Darma.

After careful thought, Darma decided to give her food to the grandmother.

"It's grandma, take it!"said Darma handed over the lunch box made of cork and the water too.

"Thank you cu, may your kindness be reciprocated by the Most Good Lord." said the grandmother took food from the Darma.

My grandmother left that place. While Darma sat while tying his stomach which was already very hungry. He thought about the condition of the old grandmother and had not eaten for two days. Darma had eaten this morning. Because drowsy, Darma also slept on the side of the road with his arms and a used newspaper base.
