Jason returned to work at the office. He is acting ordinary while Frans and his expert staff work secretly to find out the truth of Daniel's findings. Strong evidence has already led to the man. Just a compelling reason Jason wanted to know.

Frans went back to digging and looking for information about the person's background. Slowly known if the background he gave when applying for a job, to become the closest person to him, all is engineering.

Upon arriving at the office, Jason acted as usual. It was as if there were no big problems, even he tried to hold back the feelings of his heart when dealing with them.

"Pedrus!"

"Yes, sir."

"Tell Erick, I'll attend today's meeting."

"Okay, Mr. Jason." Before Pedro could get out of Jason's room, Erick had already arrived there

"Come Erick. Pedro shut the door, there's something I want to talk to Erick about together" Jason said.

Pedro stopped his footsteps. He was stunned, the thing that Jason rarely did was to make it out in the way he had just been. Pedro then went out and closed the door.

Slowly Pedro rushed to his desk. He started to turn on the computer and send someone an email. Some time the man was stunned in front of the computer waiting for an answer from the email he sent. Until the man did not realize Bertha who was already in front of him.

"Hi! Crazy daydreaming until like that. The list of financial statements you requested, I sent you. Already in?" ask Bertha.

"Oo. e. oo. I haven't checked. Thank you," said Pedro nervously.

"Why did Mr Jason ask for such a detailed report? Unbeknownst to Mr. Erick as well. Is there anything suspicious?" bertha asked with her two eyebrows together.

"Eitherway. But remember this is a secret. Only you, me and Mr. Jason know. Jagan till your mouth leaks." Pedro gave Bertha a warning.

"Of course buckets can leak. You know my mouth is always tightly closed, even if you only pay for it with a cup of milk coffee." Bertha chuckled as her innuendo began to hit Pedro.

"Don't worry, I promise to buy you a meal at a five-star restaurant, after my mother recovers." Pedro smiled reassuringly.

"May your mother recover quickly." Bertha blinked her eyes before returning to her desk.

Pedro has worked for Madison for over ten years. She crawled from being just a regular office employee to being Jason's secretary. Because his work is rapo and reliable, the executives also respect Pedro as much as Jason.

The man who had just knitted his brows and looked tensely staring at the computer screen, finally smiled. The answer to the email he was waiting for was very satisfying. Now Pedro can work again cheerfully.

While in the office, Erick and Jason begin to talk.

"Is there a bright spot on the whereabouts of sister-in-law?" erick asked to open the conversation.

Jason took a breath.

"The old man was really an expert at removing traces. I think Lia's fine right now. If he had done something, he would have come up with another threat." Jason held both hands in front of his chest.

"I'm very worried about my brother-in-law" Erick said, sounding sincere.

"What about you? Did Daddy also give you any threats?" Jason's eyes looked at Erick sharply.

"He ...." Erick took a breath.

Then Erick began to tell about the threat of the great master to him.

"Then your choice?" ask Jason to investigate.

"You know my choice" murmured Erick weakly.

Jason was silent. He walked towards the vast glass wall. For a moment the man was pensive while staring at the crowd of Paris. A city that never dies. Day and night are always crowded.

Jason's words stopped him turning his back to look at Erick.

"You know, I'd be crazier than Darrel Madison if anyone hurt the people I love. Not only will your mother cry over the loss of a son, but I can keep your sister unmarried for life. Maybe I could be more ruthless than just making your sister a spinster!"

Erick was stunned to hear Jason's words that sounded creepy. Since Lia's departure, the man began to return to his old figure. Cold and crazy. It was as if his balance had been lost.

"I get. It's not been two years that I've known you and your family. Whatever happens, I'm not abandoning Laurent." Erick's promise to Jason.

Jason looked at Erick, the only friend he had. One of the confidants in representing himself runs the company. He didn't want to lose Erick and things got messed up. It was fortunate that Erick gave the right keywords, Promise not to hurt Laurent.

"Alright Erick you can come out. I'll be in the meeting room in an hour."

"All right." Erick left Jason.

The man's face instantly turned dark hearing the report from Frans.

"I understand. What about Greg's progress?" Jason asked Lia for the search results.

"Daddy is in Germany? I understand the meeting there will take three days. Order commercial planes secretly. Don't let him know that I'm going after daddy in Germany."

Jason then turned off the phone line with Frans and dialed another phone number.

"Sister-in-law! I need your help" Jason said as the man across the street answered his call.

The night after the six-hour meeting was over, Jason kept Pedro and Erick in the room.

"I want to invite you two to my Mansion. For almost a month I passed because of Lia, the two of you are people who have been extraordinary to look after this company. I want to thank you in a very simple way." Jason stopped his sentence and looked at Erick and Pedro alternately.

"Dine at the Mansion. Stay with me tonight" Jason said.

Erick and Pedro looked at each other. They seemed happy that Jason was back to normal.

"Well, I'll call Laurent with this plan" Erick said.

"Tell him, I didn't invite him. Tonight is for men only."

Erick said Jason's words.

"It's your first visit to the Madison mansion, isn't it?" ask Jason to Pedro.

The man nodded. Over the years following Jason, he was never given a chance to visit the mansion. He only knows the Penthouse Jason used to occupy. Pedro was delighted with this opportunity.

HAYOO.... Is there a clue? Who is that traitor? What is his motive? And what does that have to do with Lia's kidnapping?
