49 Days: Getting Into the Body of a Vegetative Man

49 Days: Getting Into the Body of a Vegetative Man
4. Suspecting

Tagara doesn't want anyone to be suspicious of her behavior. However, everyone knew that he was a paralyzed man. Inevitably, he had to pretend to need others, including Qia who worked at his residence.

Having promised to take an afternoon walk with Agatha, Tagara had to prepare herself. He would bathe and look neat to match Agatha's appearance. For this reason, now he must call Qia, asking the woman to help him even though Tagara can actually do everything herself.

Qia helped her take off her clothes, making Tagara a little uncomfortable with it. In his entire life, he had never been treated like this by anyone else, let alone the opposite sex. Until finally, Tagara had to die at the age of 29 years because his organs were forcibly snatched by people who were not heartless.

Perhaps on the other hand, if possible, Tagara would like to be able to come back to life as herself to take revenge against those people. Can it?

"Did my brother not come home last night?" tagara asked Qia to shift her thoughts on her unfortunate past.

Qia nodded faintly. "Mr Keenan hasn't stayed here since buying this house, sir," he explained.

Tagara. Was this house only bought for her? While Keenan lives somewhere else? Or precisely because of his busyness in the Factory, making the man choose not to go home?

"I don't remember it" Tagara admitted to Qia.

"There must be a lot of things that Mr. Andres forgot. Sorry, but you don't look like the usual Mr. Andres" Qia told Tagara that she seemed to suspect him.

Tagara looked at Qia long ago, she felt that this woman knew Andres quite closely. Ls i? And, could Tagara believe it?

"Why can you conclude that?" ask Tagara.

Qia shook her head weakly, she also directly lowered her head.

"Koma for a year made me forget some of the things that had happened. Will you help me?" Somehow that sentence came out of Tagara's lips as Andres, he was looking for an excuse, but he knew that from his words earlier meant that he wanted Qia to help him.

"Does Master trust me?"

"Eitherway. I don't know who to trust" Tagara said frankly.

"Do you suspect me?" Qia asked as she opened the trousers Tagara was wearing on Andres' body. The woman didn't look awkward at all.

"Not really," replied Tagara misbehaving. It is precisely he who feels relieved because of the help of Qia.

"Then, Mr Andres wants me to help you out of what?"

Tagara stopped Qia's hand to open the last cloth cover on her body. "This one, I can do it myself" prevented Tagara.

Qia nodded slowly, her face looking red.

"I can be alone, come out" Tagara said, making Qia turn around to go along with the man's wishes.

"Qia?"

Tagara's call made the woman turn back.

"Yes, Sir?"

"Did I have to bathe too? Sorry, I forgot that too."

"Y-yeah," replied Qia quietly.

Tagara flicked her hand as a signal Qia could leave now. However, one thing Tagara can conclude here is that Andres and Qia must be quite close in their daily interactions.

After taking a bath, Tagara finds Qia waiting for her in the room. The woman also prepared her needs.

"Are you sure you're going with Miss Agatha today?" Qia asked while neatly combing Tagara's hair.

"yeah. Why why?"

"There's nothing."

For some reason Tagara again felt that there was something Qia was hiding.

"Do you know anything about my last relationship with Agatha?" ask Tagara at last. He hoped Qia's answer could give him a glimmer of hope or a bright spot to help him solve this problem.

Qia looked hesitant, but a moment later she lifted her head to stare into Tagara's bead of eyes.

"Last, you said that you suspected Miss Agatha."

Tagara's eyes faded when she heard it. "really? Do I also have to suspect my own fiancee?" tanyanya could not believe it.

Qia walked away. He turned his back on Tagara there and stared out the window.

"Tell me."

"3 years ago, exactly when you were sentenced to be paralysed after the first accident that befell you, you told me that you suspected Miss Agatha."

"I told you?"

Qia nodded her head repeatedly. "That's why I was astonished when you protested my attitude of not asking Miss Agatha to enter the house during the visit. As I recall, you yourself do not want him to approach the dwelling you occupy," he explained.

"What basis can I say such a thing to you?" Tagara asked back.

Qia only shook her head faintly. It seemed difficult for him to say regarding Tagara's question this time.

"Why don't you want to tell me?" tagara.

Qia was silent for quite a while, until she finally nodded slowly and then made a sound again. "I'll say it if you're honest, who you really are" he said slowly.

Tagara's eyelids are widened. He did not expect that sentence to slide from Qia's lips. Does Qia know he's not Andres?

"I know Mr. Andres well, even if he's amnesiac after a one-year coma, he won't forget his habits. But, You? You're doing something out of Mr. Andres's habit."

Tagara's lips were already open to deny Qia's accusation, but the woman resumed the sentence.

"... Since seeing your eyes on me this morning, I knew right away that you weren't Mr. Andres. Your guts, also the way you rule me. You're too much for me to read even if you use Mr. Andres' body for you. Ah yes, one more thing, I know best if Mr. Andres is left-handed, he uses his left hand more often, while you do not .." said Qia told Tagara who just knew about this.

"Who are you, Qia?" Finally Tagara voiced her curiosity.

Qia flipped over, looking at Tagara with a faint smile. So thin.

"Go today with Miss Agatha, so that you know who she is and can judge whether my words were honest or not. If you've trusted me, then I'll be honest with you" he explained in a nonformal sentence.

"good. I'm gonna go with him and prove who I should suspect here. Regarding your accusation, who said that if I wasn't Andres, it was a baseless accusation!" tagara denied Qia's earlier remarks.

"Please!" Qia smiled, then left the ready Tagara on her wheelchair.

...****...

Tagara was invited to board a car that also drove Agatha to pick her up this afternoon. There were no suspicious signs, Agatha just looked spoiled at him.

"Did Qia lie to me?" inner Tagara. He was eager to prove who actually betrayed Andres to cause the man harm many times.

"Is there anything you're thinking?" ask Agatha on their way.

"No. I was just happy to get out of that house" replied Tagara.

"really? You happy to go with me?" Agatha looked cheerful.

"Yes. Where are we going?"

"To the lotus lake."

"What kind of place is that?" ask Tagara who did not know about the place Agatha meant.

"You forgot about it?" Agatha laughed at a glance. "That's where you proposed to me first" he explained.

"really? Why do I forget it yes," said Tagara accompanied by laughter to cover her ignorance.

"Yes, there you proposed to me. Since you've been in a coma for over a year, I want you to propose today. Repeating that sweet moment" Agatha said with a full smile.

"I didn't bring a ring. And do you really want to marry a guy like me?" tanya Tagara refers to her condition.

"The ring is on me" said Agatha showing a sapphire-eyed ring. "You've given it away before, so there's no need for a new ring. Simply the same ring with the same moment and repeated again."

"Alright," replied Tagara resignedly. Actually, he doesn't know what to answer. Sometimes his stupidity comes back to control himself.

"Good." Agatha cradled Tagara's body in a car that continued to run driven by a plontos-headed driver. "Please promise not to leave me again, we'll get married after this" he continued with sparkling eyes.

Tagara just nodded, actually in terms of where she should suspect Agatha. Why did Qia say that Andres had once suspected this woman? I don't know, Tagara hasn't been able to find the answer.
