*The Secrets of the Howling Gorge (Configuration)*
Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo flashed in the darkness, as if he was a descendant of a bat. The bright moon is big, making the night view not so pitch black.
Last afternoon he had stopped by Lamongan Village, not to buy soto, but to observe the crowded situation of the village. Actually he had heard rumors of a stir in the Lolongan Cave when stopping in the village earlier.
However, when arriving at Lamongan Village, the swordsman who came to the Lolongan Cave was too much and unnatural. What raises the question in the mind of Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo is, whether the big event in the Howling Cave has anything to do with the event in the Howling Gorge.
In Lamongan Village, Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo faintly heard the issue of unsurpassed heirlooms in Lolongan Cave.
He did not choose to spend the night or rest in the village, but continued to travel to the Lolongan area.
On his way that night, Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo decided to stop, when he saw there was a small bonfire and the smell of grilled meat, not so far from the street.
The bonfire was faced by two fat young women, but beautiful and white. The two are none other than Nila Numbers and her sister Nira Numbers. Both are grilling meat.
When Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo came near their place, the two looked up.
“Can I keep warm with you?” ask Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo.
“Warming yourself? What do you mean, Cake? Is it because we're both fat and you think we can be a blanket for you?” ask Nila the number of ketus.
“Hehehe! I'm old, I don't have time for such perverted thoughts. Don't you guys have a hot fire?” ki Ageng Kunda Poyo.
“Hihihi!” Nira Numbers laughed to himself, laughing at his brother.
“Why are you laughing?” hardik Nila to his sister who did not stop laughing. Then he told Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo, “But let me know first who you are, Kek. We don't want to unknowingly sit with a savage beast.”
“Hehehe! My name is Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo. That's it, son,” replied Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo.
“Oh!” surprised the two fat women. Although they do not know the figure of Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo, but they know the name.
Both of them changed their facial expressions and moved back up. They immediately saluted.
“Pardon us for not recognizing Ki Ageng,” said Nila Numbers in a polite tone.
“Sounds like you guys know my name?” ask Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo while stepping closer.
“The two of us are disciples of the Thousand Valley Dragon Queen,” replied Nila Numbers.
“Oooh! Hehehe!” long sigh Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo then chuckled. “So your beautiful teacher once told you about me.”
“True, Ki Ageng,” replied Nira Numbers.
“Please, Ki Ageng!” said Nila Numbers after expanding the seat in the form of a tree trunk.
“Thank you. Glad to meet a fellow clear white stream,” Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo said as he moved sitting on a long wooden trunk.
The two beautiful fat girls just smiled and sat back in place. They again fix the meat of the birds they are roasting using bamboo slats.
“Has your teacher been invited to the Howling Gorge?” ask Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo.
Nila and Nira looked at each other for the question.
“We don't know about that, Ki Ageng. We are on our way to Lolongan Cave, not the Howling Gorge,” replied Nila Numbers.
“The two of you include people who are far from this area, how can you go all the way just to go to the Lolongan Cave?” ask Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo.
“You must have left without your teacher's knowledge!” ki Ageng.
The two fat girls just smiled wryly, confirming Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo's guess.
“We are just curious, Ki Ageng,” please Nila Numbers.
“Hehehe! The pretext is too weak if you are just curious, then you are far away from the Valley of a Thousand. I'm guessing you guys are gonna want to try your luck. I hope my guess is wrong. You guys don't have to be shy. That's both of you're business with the Dragon Queen. But I just gave a little advice. The atmosphere created at this time is very abnormal, as it was deliberately created like this. You can imagine, if tens or hundreds of warriors all want the heirloom, what a mess the situation will be,”, said Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo.
“Iya, Ki Ageng,” says both.
“But, do you know the name of the heirloom in the Howling Cave?” ask Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo.
“No, Ki Ageng,” replied Nila Numbers.
“Is there a big event in the Howling Gorge, Ki Ageng?” ask Nira Numbers, shifting the direction of the conversation.
“True. I suspect that your teacher was invited to the Howling Gorge,” replied Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo.
The set! Nah! The duss!
Suddenly from the darkness darted one small object attacked Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo. Deftly the grandfather parried with his stick, made the thing that was the bluluk, bounced in the other direction and stuck in a tree. Bluluk is the Javanese name for a coconut that is still very small.
The three of them quickly turned to the source of the throw.
“Loyo's Week! I'm looking everywhere, uh even here with two beautiful women!”
Not to mention they perfectly saw the attacking figure, Ki Ageng had already come back under attack, but this time it was a verbal attack.
“Thank you, Grandma!” said Nila and Nira together while smiling cutely because they felt praised.
“I do not praise you, but I am scolding this old man. I'm looking into his house, nothing. I'm looking in the street, nothing. I asked myself, not knowing. I asked the bird, he flew. I asked the dog, he jumped. I asked the wind, he blew. Hah, tiring!” babble the grandmother who is Emping Panaswati with emotion.
The two fat girls only smiled because they felt funny. While the grandfather just glared.
“I heard from Princess Red Lips that Tong!” emping Panaswati said continuing her cerocosan.
However, Emping Panaswati's words were interrupted because with a quick movement, Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo smothered the old grandmother's mouth with his old hands.
“Don't talk carelessly in front of people you don't know!” whispered Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo while pulling Emping Panaswati away from the place.
“Mesra once,” said Nila Numbers while laughing little to see the second quarrel sepuh it.
“We're gone, son. Thanks for the seat!” ki Ageng Kunda Poyo shouted as he waved to Nila and Nira Numbers.
Nila and Nira just returned the wave of Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo's hand with a big smile.
“Get rid of your flirty hands!” snapped Emping Panaswati after brushing the hand of the grandfather who had been at home smothering the mouth of a woman.
“I'm not flirtatious, I talked to the two disciples of the Thousand Valley Dragon Queen,” Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo.
“Oh, apparently the beauty queen also came to the Gorge Howling,” said Emping Panaswati as if hot-hearted.
“What are you looking for me, Emping?” ask Ki Ageng Kunda Poyo.
“I want to ask, why did my nephew the Red Lips leave the Scepter of God to you?” answer Emping Panaswati.
“I can really apes, Emping!” ki Ageng Kunda Poyo said seriously and half-whispered, indicating the matter they discussed was confidential. “Ah, we better find a comfortable and cool place for both.” (BH)
