A Journey Against the World

A Journey Against the World
Chapter 195

In front of the large building, Menma stood firmly, staring at the large and magnificent building whose surroundings were no longer good. Many corpses of soldiers scattered. Blood is everywhere.

'It's too late.'

Menma stepped her feet into the royal grounds. Passing through hundreds of scattered bodies. Concerned? Saddened? Poor fellow? Menma wasn't even sure what she was feeling right now, everything was turbulent, as if she wanted to get out of there.

Tap, tap, tap ....

Various hallways, corridors, rooms he passed through. All same. The corpse of the soldier who continued to entertain her pretty eyes. It made him feel guilty for coming late.

"Sorry." Menma looked down at a glance in front of the golden throne. He went up there and turned around. Staring at hundreds of corpses with a flat look. Menma did not want to be sad or otherwise, because she believed it would only make her more guilty.

Menma raised her hand, instantly a speck of fire appeared there. Uniquely, the fire was not red as in general, but white.

What will Menma do with the fire? The answer is, he wants to burn all the corpses in this kingdom. Wh why? Because Menma did not want the bodies to rot and make a dangerous disease outbreak. After all, this was one of Menma's ways of avenging their deaths, by not allowing the corpses to rot.

Menma shook her hands, letting the white speck of fire fly and burning all the corpses. After which, Menma got down from there, then walked towards the quiet and dark passageway.

"This feeling .. terrible fear."

"Well!" Azura wiped the sweat on her forehead. "I didn't expect taking care of these humans to be this fatiguing." Azura had even only been here a few hours, trying to save a human that she could still save. However, alas, even after all the effort he put in, not a single human managed to save him.

Clothings.

Azura immediately turned her head when she heard the sound of falling objects. He could see five children standing not far from him. The five children were shocked when Azura turned around.

"You guys"

"Don't come any closer, or you'll be sorry!" The biggest boy interrupted Azura's words. While throwing away friends.

Azura wanted to ask why the children could be in this place, but Azura did not expect the five children to threaten her.

"You misunderstood."

"You, you must want to, akh-" The boy suddenly grimaced while holding his chest. Azura flinched, then her legs moved without her will towards the children.

"What's going on?" azura asked a little panicked.

"Don't come any closer!"

"Calm down boy, I don't mean anything bad to you guys." Azura tried to convince the boys.

"What's the evidence?" ask one of the five boys.

"I'm sure I didn't catch you even though I was in front of you." Azura's reply managed to make the five boys speechless. Azura crouched down in front of the boy who was grimacing in pain, slowly she held the boy's hand.

"You've been hit by something?" Azura who had checked the condition of the boy asked. Azura is not a Physician or Alchemist like Tsakuya, but at least she knows a little medical science even though it is only a common disease, such as a minor wound. And from what Azura checked, this poor boy seemed to have been hit by a heavy object that made his spine break.

"You're great, a wound like this should make you unable to walk or even wake up. You are just a human being ...." Azura looked at the boy with a smile. Before he finally carried the boy, he panicked the boy.

"What are you doing! Lower me!"

"Calm down, I'll treat you. No, not me, but someone." Azura without permission took the boy away. Of course followed by the other boy.

"What are you gonna do to Elmer!"

"Yes, what are you going to do with Elmer?!"

Azura turned her head to the two boys who were walking beside her. "Don't I tell you, I'll treat him. I mean, somebody."

"You're not going to kill my brother, are you?" The brunette boy asked. He called Elmer 'Sister', meaning the little girl was the younger sister of the boy Azura was carrying.

"I have no interest in killing humans like you," Azura replied which left the boys astonished.

"What are you? A demon? A deity? An angel?" The girl asked again, because she was confused by Azura's words just now.

"Yes, you can think of it that way. I can be an angel or vice versa" Azura replied with a faint smile.

"Where will you take my brother?"

"To someone who can heal your brother."

"Who is he?"

"My Majesty."

Tap, tap, tap ....

However, their efforts are free. The door that was closed with the padlock was sounding, the sound of punches and knocking.

"Those inside open this door. I know you're inside" exclaimed a woman from outside.

The brown haired girl turned her head, looking at the people who fared the same as her. One of them shook his head, asking the girl not to open the door.

"Open up, you don't have to be afraid. I am a friend of Shua Xie. 'The sun meets with shame on the lips of the sky'" said the woman's voice again. Strange words at the end of his speech.

'Shua Xie?'

One of the occupants of this room immediately moved, towards the door, wanting to open it. To make others shocked by the man's actions.

"Senior Kun, what are you doing?" The brown-haired girl flinched. Didn't expect the man named Kun to open the door.

"Senior Kun!"

"Senior Kun!"

The young man named Kun paid no heed to the calls of the people behind him. He continued to act, trying to open the door. A moment when the door would soon open, another man appeared who was directly holding it.

"He's not necessarily that girl's friend. What if the owner of the voice is lying." Tu Mo, the young man's friend held back.

Kun looked. His face is still flat. Like not having emotions, even though the situation of the kingdom of Dilie is not good at this time.

"I know it's him." Kun lowered Tu Mo's hand from his. Then open the door again.

Chequek!

The door opened, and a beautiful woman stood there. Tu Mo was surprised, as was Kun. While the one behind was trying to see who was coming.

"Thank you for opening it. I thought I was gonna break this door down forcibly." Menma laughed a little. His head began to look inside the small room, trying to figure out who was inside.

"Senior Kun, do you know him?" tu Mo asked half in a whisper. Tu Mo simply did not expect Kun to have an acquaintance as beautiful as this. Even Tu Mo had difficulty avert his eyes. Just this time Tu Mo saw a woman as beautiful as the one in front of him. Shiny white hair and bright red eyes. As well as the beautiful dress that the woman wore, really adds to her beauty.

Kun shook his head. "I don't know him." These three sentences managed to make Tu Mo surprised. Tu Mo looked at Kun in disbelief.

"Then why did you open the door for her?" If Kun didn't know the woman, Kun shouldn't have opened the door, but what Kun did was different from the reaction he should have.

"Because he can tell the location of this room."

"Huh? Meanin?" Tu Mo did not understand.

"Before this war happened. Princess Shua Xie once told me of her plan, she had even guessed the possibility that she might not have time to help."

Although it had been explained, Tu Mo still did not understand.

"The point is, this room is known only to a few important people. And I tell this room to Princess Shua Xie if there is a high chance of something bad happening in the kingdom of Dilie" Kun explained.

"Then?"

"Actually." Menma. He heard clearly the conversation of Kun and Tu Mo even though the two young men had shrunk their voices. "I know this room based on my instincts, not because I remember what you said back then."

"That time?" Kun frowned. He felt that something was wrong with the woman. In contrast to Tu Mo, he started to be wary of Menma after hearing the woman's words.

"Yes, that was a short conversation. Mr-Kun-Rou-Jie," Menma replied as he spelled Kun's name one by one by pressing each name.

Kun and Tu Mo gasped. How not, Kun's real name not many people knew, only Tu Mo and the Kun family themselves knew Kun's real name. During this time, Kun used his first name without ever telling him what his real name was. Not even to the leader of this kingdom did he tell.

"Senior Kun." Tu Mo looked at Kun who didn't seem to put on a surprised expression like he did.

"So you're him? But how can it be?" Kun ignored Tu Mo's call, he focused more on Menma.

"No, I'm just the messenger. He told me to say your name so you could trust me."

"Who?"

"Of course Shua Xie."
