Chapter 11 Laughing at Yourself

Ganesha walked slowly to his laughing wife. Without speaking again, he langsug threw his body beside Shopia. His head was slit on the shoulder of the woman who was surprised by his arrival.

"Shopia, why is your laugh so scary. Do you have a problem?" ask Ganesha.

My problem is with you, Anez.

"none. I feel funny about the movie I'm watching. His fate is very sad. Already knew it was a valley, but he still walked in that direction. Eventually he fell down and became the food of hungry lions" Shopia explained.

Ganesha only saw the passing of his wife. I don't know why he feels disturbed by Shopia's flat attitude. The woman was indeed smiling, but it was like not a sincere smile from her heart.

"It's okay, maybe I should also start looking for work again" said Shopia flat.

"What are you looking for work for. If you are tired of working in the office, you better be at home just taking care of your children and husband."

Shopia and Zara went straight into the elevator. They were surprised why the other employees did not come in. However, when they turn around, it turns out that Ganesha and Piero and a beautiful girl enter the elevator they are riding in.

Shopia only smiled faintly at the girl's closeness to her husband. He tries to distract her by looking the other way. Until finally, Ganesha spoke to him.

"Shopia, today you teach Eliza your former work. He'll take your place in the finance division."

"Good, Master!" sahut Flat Shopia.

"You must teach him until he understands."

"You can't work on him just because he's a new kid or because you have a personal grudge."

"You must ...." Ganesha did not continue his remark as Piero directly cut him off.

"Alright, Anez! Shopia must have understood what he was going to do. You don't have to tell him until that detail."

Ganesha immediately fell silent, he just stared fixedly at his wife who was looking down with an index finger tapping on the paper bag she was holding. Luckily, the elevator door opened, Shopia and Zara rushed out.

"Excuse me, sir." Zara said goodbye while Shopia just bent her body slightly with the smile she forced.
