Chapter 28 Goodbye to Unattainable Love

A tense atmosphere enveloped the room which always provided warmth for Ganesha. The man waited for his wife's arrival with an irregularly rhythmic heart. Between ready and not, he had to give an explanation to Shopia.

Not far from Ganesha, Shopia felt the same way as her husband. Even though he kept trying to strengthen his heart. Still his little heart feels unwilling if it is true Ganesha has a relationship back with his ex-lover.

The door of the room opened from the outside. Ganesha looked straight at the door. Looks like Shopia just entered with a tray in her hand. It seemed that Shopia had already prepared two cups of coffee to accompany them in conversation.

"Diminum, the coffee!" ask Shopia.

"Thank you" said Ganesha, staring fixedly at Shopia. Somehow seeing the sad face of his wife, made his heart ache.

Shopia just smiled as she sat her ass on the sofa. For a moment both were silent. No one starts the conversation. Until finally Shopia opened her voice by showing a photo to Ganesha.

"Mas, I just want to know when this photo was made?"

"Maybe it was noon. Shopia, I won't defend myself because I'm the one in the picture. But really, I don't know what's going on either" explains Ganesha. He began to explain everything from Dora's illness to the idea of his papa.

Shopia just silently listened to every word that came out of her husband's mouth. He did not expect that Ganesha would explain it in detail. Though her heart was still doubtful, but she tried to believe what her husband had said.

"Then what will you do?" shopia asked, looking at Ganesha.

"I'll follow what papa says. Shopia, give me a chance to prove that I didn't do anything commendable."

"Alright, Mas. I'll give you a chance until the investigation is over. But, if it's true that Mas will do that, I'm asking you to let me go!" please Shopia.

"No Shopia! I will never let go of you" said Ganesha, shaking his head.

"Isn't Dora the girl that I love? I just ... I just ...." Shopia did not continue as Ganesha directly hugged her body.

"You're my wife. For today and tomorrow, you are still my wife." Ganesha tightened his embrace on the woman who had already quietly filled his heart. Whether since when, his heart was filled by the woman he had made as his passion filler. "Shopia, trust me!" continued.

When both of them are satisfied to channel the taste stored in the heart. Ganesha and Shopia decided to go to bed. Just sleeping, without the usual night sports they do. The two fell asleep while hugging each other until the morning.

The next day, they worked together as usual. Ganesha and Shopia are back at work. They act as if nothing happened. Until finally Dora came barging into the room of Ganesha, then there was a little commotion there.

"Mas, I'm asking us to get married as soon as possible. I don't want to get pregnant and people make fun of me because I'm pregnant out of wedlock" Dora said.

"Yes, Dora. Shouldn't we prepare the party first? You always want a festive party for our wedding" says Ganesha.

"I don't need a party. I just want us to get married soon" urged Dora.

"Yes, I'll tell my parents first. I cannot marry you without their blessing" said Ganesha.

"All right! I'll give you one week to get Brother Anez ready for everything."

"Yes I will prepare" said Ganesha resignedly

After Dora's departure, Ganesha called Piero. He planned an official trip to Europe to spread the wings of his company. Rather than him constantly being messed around by Dora's problems, it was better to work on growing his company.

"Piero, you take care of the company here.I want to see opportunities in Europe to develop the company," said Ganesha when he was dealing with his best friend.

"Not to run away, is it?" guess Piero.

"That's the real reason. I kept getting dizzy pressed by Dora, while papa told me to buy time. I'd better leave first until the detective gets the evidence then I'll come back" explained Ganesha.

"All right then. I'll take care of your company. Is Shopia coming too?" ask Piero.

"I haven't thought about it."

"Go with Shopia! Repair your relationship with him if you want to keep him. If he's here, Dora's gonna tease him" Piero suggested.

"All right!" sahut Ganesha's.

Piero immediately arranged tickets and hotel places to stay for Ganesha and Shopia. He works secretly so that Ganesha and Shopia's departure is unknown to Dora. Ganesha did not tell Sophia when they were in the office. He told Shopia when they got home.

"Shopia, get your clothes done! Tomorrow morning we're going to Europe. I want to find business prospects there. It just so happens that there are college friends whose business has advanced in the Netherlands" said Ganesha.

"Do I have to come, Mom?"

"Yes, Piero's not coming. So you're the one who replaced me."

"But how long have we been there? Three weeks later, Zara is married. There's no way I'm not coming to her wedding."

"We're coming home for Zara's wedding."

Hopefully, papa has found proof that I didn't actually do anything with Dora. But why do I really hope to get away from Dora. Hadn't I been searching for her existence all this time, but when she came asking to return, I didn't want her, inner Ganesha.

Although there was something stuck in her heart, she did not follow what her husband told her. He tidied his clothes and Ganesha's clothes into a different suitcase. Ganesha fell asleep first. After everything was done, he went to sleep.

However, just as Shopia was about to close her eyes, there was the sound of her mobile phone shaking. Shopia sees who sent the message and opens it. Her heart suddenly beat faster than usual when she saw photos of Dora along with Ganesha while abroad, coupled with USG results stating that Dora was eight weeks pregnant.

"Maybe it's time for me to go, Mom. If I don't go alone, you will definitely hold me back. Goodbye to unattainable love."
