It was very dark when Anggie arrived in front of the simple house where she and Mama lived after they both decided to get out of the luxury mansion owned by the Sanjaya family. The mansion that was once the entire occupants felt very happy, both the Sanjaya family itself and the maids who worked there. They're all very happy. Until the day that happiness comes to an end and makes the big lady and young lady Sanjaya have to leave their own mansion.
Tok to tok. Anggie knocks on the door of the simple house, the door of the house that was painted by Anggie when they decided to buy the house as a place to live. The house that used to look very dull and a little scary. But in the hands of Mama who was very diligent, the house has changed. Flowers in pots are seen on the terrace of that simple house. While in the perkarangan house, Mama planted some kitchen spices that are also useful for herbal medicine. As well as in the yard beside the house, Mama planted several types of vegetables. Mama did all that to save their expenses, especially Mama also knows how tired Anggie is when looking for money out there. So that mom should press the expenditure as much as possible. Mama does not want to be tired her daughter ended up in vain.
Mama who had been waiting for Anggie from earlier in the house, walked open the door for her daughter who had come out of the morning doing her activities. Starting from college to having to work part-time at a large supermarket in the middle of the city. A thing that in a dream never imagined by Mama or Anggie. But life still has to run, so Mama and Anggie have to be strong in running it.
Anggie shakes the hands of the only parent she has right now.
"Why is it night to go home?" mama asked while holding Anggie's hand to enter the house. Mom's anxious voice was very clear at this moment. Mama was waiting for Anggie while looking at the clock.
"So there's a count of stock items first Mama. That's why Anggie came home late" Anggie replied telling Mama what the cause of her until late home from usual.
"Mama must be worried?" guess Anggie.
Mama nodded. "No parents are not anxious, the girl is late to home from usual. Especially at night like now" Mama replied while trying to smile at Anggie. Mama doesn't want Anggie to be anxious and nervous.
"I'm sorry Anggie ya ma" said Anggie.
"Because Anggie came home late, mama became unable to sleep" continued Anggie who really knew how his mother was if it was anxious about the state of Anggie.
Mama nodded. Mama knows Anggie's model job. Before she married Mr. Sanjaya, she used to be a waitress of a convenience store, so she knew how to bother with the work of an Anggie.
"Have you eaten?" ask Mama.
"Mama hasn't eaten?" Anggie asked his parents.
"Not yet darling. Mama will not be able to eat first, while the daughter of mama who works out there has not come home, mama also does not know whether she has eaten or not" mama answered while looking at Anggie.
"Anggie hasn't eaten either" Anggie replied honestly.
Anggie already knew the habits of his mother, so he had refused the invitation to eat meatballs from friends. Anggie didn't want her mom to wait for her to be hungry. Anggie doesn't want to disappoint you.
Mom smiled at the girl's answer. Mama was pretty sure that Anggie wouldn't eat out.
Mama nodded "Mama deliberately cooked this because, mama has been very long it feels not to cook your favorite sauce"
"So, that was when the vegetable maker went through my mother to buy." replied Mama.
"But sorry baby, not much as usual" replied Mama with a joint tone saw the chicken soy sauce that there are only five pieces only.
"It's okay Mama. Mama, don't be sad. We eat only two. So, this sambal we can still eat for tomorrow morning." replied Anggie.
Mama smiled looking at Anggie. Whereas in the past while still living in a large mansion, Anggie would immediately eat three pieces of chicken, when mama cooked soy sauce chicken. As for now, Anggie has changed so much.
Mama and Anggie began to enjoy a simple dinner made by Mama. The menu of chicken soy sauce mixed tofu, after that there is chili boiled, and as a vegetable there is chickpeas boiled mama.
"It's really good Mama. Anggie likes it. Thank you for making your favorite food for Anggie.
"Anggie take a shower, ma, Mama just take a break. Let Anggie just clean the dining table." said Anggie who chose to eat first because Anggie believes that Mama is too tired today.
Mama nodded. Mama then went into the room, while Anggie cleaned the dining table first, Anggie also washed all the eating utensils that had been used by herself and Mama. After all that was done, then Anggie cleaned his body.
"Huf can finally feel the freshness after bathing" said Anggie while sitting in front of a mirror.
Anggie wears skincare tonight. Although the finances fit, but Anggie still buy skincare for the face and skin. He did not want to because the life he lived now was heavy, making himself unable to take care of his face and skin.
"Make the thesis restless after that go straight to sleep" said Anggie.
"It has to be done quickly, so I can be happy Mama" said Anggie while reading the paper stuck in her makeup mirror.
Anggie pulled out his laptop. The only expensive item that Anggie brought from the large mansion owned by his Papi. Anggie started typing, he really focused himself on finishing his thesis as fast as he could.
At exactly two in the morning, Anggie was no longer able to hold back his sleepiness. He turned off the laptop and then chose to take a quick break. Tomorrow he has teaching hours and also has to work as usual.
In an instant Anggie had already entered into his dream realm. He didn't take long to rest. This is because because he was too tired and tired in living a very heavy day, but because there is Mama, making Anggie can not stand idly by.
