Guiding system

Toto is an 8 year old boy. He went home to school alone. With a backpack on his back Toto walked with his little barefooted feet.

I don't know what he's thinking, the shoes he's supposed to wear on his feet. By intentionally both he tied around the neck.

Maybe he thought it was a cool thing to see. Whereas if adults see his strange behavior, they must be frowning.

Toto walked on the muddy asphalt because it was flooded with heavy rain. Several puddles of water were seen on the asphalt road that had many holes.

The distance from school to his home was quite a bit far, even so he never complained. Time passed by did not feel Toto finally reached his small home.

"My mother came home" she shouted loudly as she entered the unlocked door of the house. No answer was heard from inside the house.

When he was already inside he smelled the fragrant smell of kitchen spices that were being fried. "It looks like mom is cooking" thought the boy.

Soon he kept his shoes in his place. Not forgetting before that he cleaned his legs with a washcloth that was available near the door. Then walk into his room.

His school uniform hangs on rusty nails that line behind the bedroom door. Then he changed into a play shirt. Toto headed to the kitchen.

"Mother Toto was hungry, she cried as she walked towards the kitchen. Still no answer. No one when he got to the kitchen.

Toto only saw a pile of fried food in a medium plastic container. "Where did mom go?" mummified Toto slowly.

It has become a habit of his mother making fried food to cover the financial needs of his small family. Toto lives alone with his mother. He's an only child, his father's been going nowhere since Toto was a year old.

Toto did not remember a single bit of his father's face. The sound of her stomach sounding loud indicates she is really hungry.

Before leaving school Toto had not had time to eat breakfast because there was nothing he could eat. Without a second thought he opened the rice basket covered in a thin cloth.

There was a plate of rice for him to eat. A faint smile was clearly visible on his face. "All right, I'll eat first".

A plate of rice and fried food is enough to fill his small stomach. A belching sounded from his mouth after he finished eating.

The clock on the wall shows at 1pm. But Toto's mother is not seen in every corner of the house. Toto thinks his mother came out of the house after frying the fry, but he doesn't know where it went.

As a dutiful child every day he always traveled around the village selling fried foods his mother. Toto exited the house with a plastic basin on top of his head filled with fried food.

From house to house Toto offers his wares. There are also many things he has sold. Although people bought it with pity Toto did not bother about it. Importantly the trade is sold.

At 4 pm the trade is left 5 seeds only. Toto sat under the banyan tree while wiping the sweat on his forehead. While unwinding he leaned on the tree trunk while daydreaming.

In front of him, it looks like children his age are playing ball on an abandoned field.

So cool to daydream he did not realize a ball was quickly pointing at him.

His gaze darkened as the ball hit his head hard.

"Where am I? why am I suddenly here?" he thought a little scared, because he was alone there.

"Human" sounds echoed without form.

"Who is that?" Toto was very surprised.

"I am a divine consciousness sent by God to guide good men like you, because while your life is devoted to your mother and does not sin much I will guide you to become a perfect human being."

Toto frowned hearing that voice. "You mean I'm dead?" he said while looking around. Because he didn't see anyone there.

"You are at the intersection of life and death. Human you don't have to fear me. I'm not gonna hurt you. But surely you are not dead yet, but you will also not be able to live again in the previous world because your head has been crushed to hit the ball earlier".

Toto recalled the previous incident. He didn't know for sure what happened before he was here because he was daydreaming. All he felt was darkness covering his gaze before he was unconscious.

"Your people have no other choice, God will bring you to life in a different world to carry out a noble task, whether the world you will occupy later. But for sure I will always be by your side to take care of you".

Toto couldn't do anything "Yes how else if it was like that, but will my mother be fine after I leave?" he actually felt very sad if he had to part with his loving mother.

"It's fate, you can't do anything. Time's running out, we can't be here much longer. I will enter your body and merge with you".At once a beam of white light enters Toto's small body. There was no pain he felt after the light entered his body.

Suddenly the room shook violently, cracks were everywhere. Toto's body faded and disappeared without a trace.

On a clear riverbank Toto opened his eyes slowly. His gaze was still blurry, while sitting down he rubbed his eyes back.

Seen by him the river that flows clear highlighted the warm rays of the morning sun. Inside were many small fish running around here and there. Toto looked around, the trees towering with their lush leaves.

From a distance came the sounds of various forest beasts that he had never heard before. Toto thought about what he should do now. With his small body will certainly be difficult to adapt to the surrounding environment.

In the forest there must be a powerful beast of course it will endanger him. With his small and weak body like now it was easy for a savage beast to prey on him.

"Do I just scream who knows if anyone heard me and came here to help me. But what if a beast comes here and attacks me." Toto undoes his intention to scream.

"Your master doesn't have to worry about that, I will give you the basic ability to survive in this world" a voice echoed inside his head.

"Ah you must be the creature that just entered my body. Why do you call me sir? and if you can tell me what your name is?"

"I've officially become your guard as the guidance system then automatically you have become my master. While I don't have a name yet, if you want you can call me anything you like"

"Well so that it's easier I'll give you a name...." Toto fell silent as his index finger stuck to his head while thinking what name would be suitable for the system.
