55. A chance for Fin

“Papa ..” great-grandson Alan was terrified when he heard the screaming voice of Albra and the woman he didn't know were mutual.

“Alan scared, you better get out of here.” Albra continued to say the word go to Mey Becca, but it was not ignored in the least. Mey is increasingly challenged to stay close to Alan.

Of course, the threat made Mey afraid because she had been threatened by Frans not to interfere with the lives of her grandchildren and children. But even so, his determination to take on Alan and Albra will never fade.

“You've made a mess in my life. Alan already has a decent mother for himself.”

Qyen ignored Albra's screams that kept calling her name, let alone that she had heard Alan's voice crying. Qyen could not hold back his tears, his tears kept coming down together as Qyen entered the elevator.

Until ... a white car that he did not recognize stopped in front of him. Qyen retreated, he should be wary if something suddenly plagued him.

Qyen tried his best to hold back his cries, as he had to be fully aware of the moment. The car's glass door opened, Fin looked there waving his hand at her and smiling broadly.

“Hai, long time no see, Qyen ...”

“Kak Fin ..” muttered Qyen with vibrating tone.

Fin got out of his car, and opened the car door for Qyen. “Come in, I can't possibly let pregnant women alone here, and it looks like you need to go to a place that makes you comfortable.”

Qyen was silent, he looked suspiciously at Fin who was very kind to him. “Ma—saf I can't.”

“Ayolah .. I also want to say hello to you. I won't make a mess, I just want to go back to chatting with you.”

Qyen's heart was very worried this time because he felt bad to let Fin who used to be always good to him, and now he had to reject the teaching. But behind it all he was afraid that Fin would make things happen to him again.

“I won't tell Albra. I'll take you to a place that makes you calm, like you used to.”

While on the 5th floor, Mey is confused to find Fin's car that suddenly disappeared in the parking lot. “Damn it! Just know the right time!” he got upset while kicking one of the car tires there.

In the car that Fin was currently driving in, Qyen could only silently close his eyes and try to calm his heart from the scene he had just seen. There was a sense of fear that Qyen got after seeing Mey approach Albra and claim to be Alan's mother. Qyen was afraid that Alan would not want to be with her, and Qyen was also afraid that Albra's feelings would change for her, and there were many other fears that Qyen felt from the incident.

“You okay?” in the middle of silence, Fin tried to find a topic of discussion.

“Hmm .. I am fine. Sis, can you please take me to the cafe in the stone beach area,” said Qyen who mentioned the penthouse address.

“Alright, but before that I want to take you somewhere.”

“Where? I can't.”

Without a goal from Qyen, Fin also drove his car quickly. Again and again Qyen could only silently try to give her trust again to Fin. It did not take long, they also arrived at a very beautiful pine forest park.

Fin opens the car door for Qyen, and helps Qyen to get off. Fin knew that Qyen had trouble moving because of his large belly.

“Wow .. I just found out there is a forest like this in Bali,” muttered Qyen while enjoying the breeze of the cool breeze that hit his body.

Fin smiled triumphantly, hopefully still given a chance to win back Qyen's heart.

“Come, let me show you back more beautiful things you should see.”

Qyen followed where Fin went, fortunately he was currently wearing comfortable sneakers. Fin went to a small cafe to buy something to catch their chat later, two hot chocolate drinks were served, and Fin gave one to Qyen.

“This is for you, as a sign of my apology for the events that have passed,” he said with a smile.

Qyen received the cup with a slight smile of hers as well. Looking at Fin who was smiling widely made his heart feel bad leaving Albra and Alan who seemed to be in trouble. But .. Qyen does not lie if he also needs time to recover from his fear.

They walk on a wooden bridge while enjoying the beautiful view of pine trees. There are some tourists here too, but not so crowded.

“Your gynecology how many months?” ask Fin who re-opened the topic of conversation between them.

“Today is exactly five months,” replied Qyen while rubbing her stomach.

Fin nodded, his guess right when he found out about Qyen's pregnancy. It seemed like the incident had indeed made Qyen pregnant.

“Congratulations on your marriage with Albra yesterday.”

Qyen was shocked when she heard that from Fin. Did Fin know that?

“You need not be surprised, I already know. And sorry I can't attend your wedding.”

Qyen could only nod. “Iya, thanks.”

They walked back to follow the path before them, until they finally arrived at a waterfall that was very, very beautiful and clear.

“Wah ... really beautiful waterfall.” Again Qyen was glued to the view.

“You are free to shout here and pour out all the contents that are in your heart.”

Qyen smiled sweetly when she heard Fin's words. It seemed like he would not do that, coming and being present in this place alone made the stress that was in Qyen's head disappear.

“Let's sit down, I'm afraid you're exhausted later.”

They sit in a place that has been prepared. Qyen noticed a slight change in Fin's physique after they had not seen each other for a long time. This time Fin has a body that is full and muscular, maybe he has been diligent in exercising, and it seems Fin maintains a little jambang and mustache.

The sound of water and earthy nature filled their silence, Qyen's mind was currently searching for a way on how he could find a topic of conversation with Fin. “Thank you for taking me to a place like this. And I can't stay here long, Kak.” Qyen still remembered his duty.

Fin nodded. “Spend the drink first, then I'll drive you home. Whenever you need me, I will always be by your side. My phone number is still the same.”

Fin was upset with himself, why did he approach Qyen in such a rude manner? If he could approach Qyen in this gentle way, he should not have hurt Qyen first, and made Qyen lose faith in him.

“It's okay ..” replied Qyen sober.
