Chapters. 39. Finding Suspicious Objects

Diego invites Alexa to lunch at a luxury restaurant, but as usual Alexa refuses and prefers to eat at a simple restaurant that is usually stopped by him from a long time with Amel and Abhimanyu.

"Why would you rather eat here than at a five-star restaurant ?" ask Diego before getting out of the car

"Here the place can be simple but the taste of the food is like a five-star restaurant" Alexa replied as she opened the car door and rushed to get off.

Diego shook his head before he came down.

Shortly before entering, Alexa was silent as her eyes continued to gaze into one corner of the restaurant where a small child was peering inside from the glass window, looking at the customers who were eating voraciously.

Alexa approached the child and squatted down next to him.

"See what ?" ask Alexa while patting the child's shoulder gently

The little boy was shocked and immediately looked down in fear.

"Look at me." said Alexa while pulling the child's chin to look at her. "Are you hungry ?" alexa asked very gently who was answered nodding her head by the boy.

"Come." take Alexa while moving and hold the little boy's hand but the boy did not budge at all.

"Why ?" ask Alexa who squatted down again to equalize their height.

The boy seemed to be shaking slowly.

"No need to fear, then the handsome brother who will treat us to eat" said Alexa while pointing to Diego who stood not far from them

Suddenly the child followed the direction pointed by Alexa and increasingly bowed.

"Come." take Alexa again while rubbing the baby's head and immediately hold his hand to enter the restaurant.

Alexa walked over to Diego, who was smiling at her.

Diego immediately took one hand of the little boy who was still free.

They went into the restaurant and immediately became the center of attention, how not they are a very handsome and beautiful match but holding a street child who is far from good.

"What's his name ?" ask Alexa

"Baim brother." he answered softly

"Where is your house ?" again Alexa asked but did not answer Baim looked down lethargic

Alexa moved out of her chair and approached Baim.

"Why ?" ask Alexa while rubbing baby Baim's head

"Baim has no home, Baim lives alone." he said as he sobbed

Alexa was speechless to hear the harsh reality of a little boy who lived alone.

"Where is it good to sleep at night ?" ask Alexa again

"Where was the brother, Baim and some of Baim's friends moved" replied Baim

When Alexa will ask again to coincide with the waiter who came to bring their order.

"Now Baim eat first yes, later we buy also for Baim friends, how ?" alexa asked, forcing a smile

Baim also nodded in spirit.

"Eat." said Alexa thrust a plate filled with

food ahead Baim

Baim also ate with his food.

While Diego and Alexa just look at how Baim eat very greedily.

Alexa was not able to hold back her tears, quickly Alexa looked up before her tears flowed.

Diego who saw was directly grasping Alexa's hand tightly.

Alexa turned her head towards Diego while forcing her smile and was answered a nod of the head by Diego.

"How many Baim friends are there ?" ask Alexa after seeing Baim finish his meal.

"There are about 20 brothers" replied Baim

Alexa was back in tears hearing Baim's words.

How much luckier he was than Baim and his friends, he thought.

Diego without saying anything immediately went to the cashier to order food and all paid for it.

Diego returned to his chair and rubbed his head before sitting next to him.

"Where's my brother from ?" ask Alexa while looking at Diego

"From the cashier." Diego replied with a smile that was returned a sweet smile by Delia.

Alexa also happily listened to Baim's babble that told a lot of things.

Diego only noticed how his future wife was so enthusiastic about wanting to know about the life of the street child in front of him.

"Excuse me sir, the order is ready" said one of the servants

"Please put it in the trunk of my car, which is it" Diego said, pointing to his sports car.

"Let's go see Baim's friends." take Diego

Baim looked up at Diego while nodding.

They left the restaurant to meet other street children.

Diego drives his sports car to get to where Baim's friend's street kids are.

"Sister, that's in front of Baim's friends" said Baim while pointing to the red light where many street children are busking to get a bite of rice.

Alexa suddenly saw the direction that Baim san pointed to immediately glazed.

Diego pulled the car over.

"You call your friends and take them to the park over there" Diego said, pointing to a park not far from their location.

"Good sister." obey Baim and immediately move on to summon a group of street children who become Baim's comrades in arms.

Alexa and Diego get out of the car to wait for Baim to call his friends.

"What's up ?" ask Diego while rubbing Alexa's head

"I can't imagine how their lives without family, at the age of those who should still get the affection of the family should be banging for survival." lirih Alexa while looking at Baim and his friends who were walking toward Diego's car.

"I can't even imagine it, baby, we're much luckier than they are" Diego replied

"Sister." call Baim while approaching Alexa

"Let's all go to the park there, yes later you love food" said Alexa while pointing to a park

They nodded and immediately walked to the park.

Diego and Alexa also take food from the trunk of the car with the help of some street children who may be a dozen years old.

Arriving at the park, Alexa and Diego immediately distributed the food to the street children.

"You eat" said Alexa

"Thank you brother." they said in unison

Street children eat very well.

Alexa who sees also has no power to hold back her tears.

Alexa wiped her tears before Diego saw her.

Alexa took her phone from the sling bag she was wearing and contacted someone.

"Hallo baby" he said across the phone

"Opa Daniel." Call Alexa

"Yes baby, what's hemm ? Tumben called Opa ?" ask Daniel

"Look at Opa, can Alexa ask for something like Opa ?" ask Alexa

"Of course, whatever son" replied Daniel

"Is there a place Opa can be used for shelter ?" ask Alexa

"What's it for, baby ?" ask Daniel in surprise

"For street children whose fate is less fortunate" replied Alexa

"You want to make that place their home ?" ask Daniel again

"Yes Opa." answered Alexa

"Opa will take care of everything" Daniel said

"Thank you Opa." said Alexa with a smile

"Opa will ask Jordy to take care of it today, you just send your location now so Opa tells people to pick them up" said Daniel

"Okay Opa." replied Alexa while disconnecting her phone.

Diego rubbed his dear Alexa hair so that the owner of the hair immediately turned his head while smiling sweetly.

"I'm proud of my future wife" Diego said, pinching Alexa's nose

"Why ?" ask Alexa wonder

"You want to open a parlor for where they live ?" not answering, Diego asked back

Alexa nodded while squandering into Diego's embrace.

"I want them to have a decent place to live" replied Alexa, looking up at the handsome face of the future husband

"I know." replied Alexa while drowning her head in Diego's field chest.

They are still faithful in the park to see how the street children are very happy to get free food.

It was clearly a happy look on their faces, and Alexa was happy to see it.
