Fallen Tree
Haura, Aleda and Dylan who had come out of hiding and continued their journey through the forest with tall and large trees. Those who walk around and see if there are any herbal mushrooms or not.
On the way, they stopped with many tree branches that fell and piled up making their way hampered. And the bright sun was suddenly covered in black clouds.
"Will it be night?" ask Alda.
"Maybe it's still late afternoon." Answer Dylan.
"Yes, it's just a black cloud." Haura answered looking up.
"A lot of trees in front of us? Do we have to keep going or take another path?" ask Alda.
"I'll check it." Replied Haura who used wind magic to fly saw the situation ahead.
"The area is like a swamp, but there is no water." Haura replied from above looking at the scene ahead. After that Haura returned to Dylan and Aleda's place.
"How's teacher?" ask Aleda
"In front of many fallen trees, fallen trees have long since dried up many tree branches on the surface and after I noticed under the tree branches were moist. It's like a swamp but there's no water." Answer Haura.
"Didn't mushrooms like in damp places? Especially in front of many trees that have fallen for a long time?" ask Alda.
"yes too. What if we check it." Answer Dylan.
"alright. We split up." Answer Haura.
They fly and explore the fallen trees. Aleda, Haura and Dylan each parted ways and began to conduct a search.
Aleda started by lifting the dry twigs and also the moist foliage below. Aleda only found the wet ground. But I did not stop to search.
Dylan also used his magic power to sense if there was any water below. But nothing, it is just damp due to the continuous temperature or rain. Arlan had already given a conclusion about the circumstances surrounding him.
Haura began looking for herbal mushrooms by dismantling some twigs close to the trunk of a large tree. Increasingly unpacking, Haura found the mushroom plants they were looking for were growing under the trunk of a large tree that was around it.
"This? It's true, it's herbal." Answer Haura who was surprised by the herbal mushroom found by her. There are 3 stalks that live after many tree branches that have been removed from the trunk of the old big tree.
"Dylan, Alein. Comehere!" Haura who was so excited to get 3 stalks of herbal mushrooms called her two students to come to her place immediately.
Dylan and Aleda who heard Haura's call using telepathic communication immediately went to see Haura.
"What's the teacher?" ask them both.
"Look at what I found." Answer Haura who showed the herbal mushroom 3 stalks that are still not in the trunk and not adjacent to the tree trunk.
"Hamour herbs?" ask them both.
"Yes. You see, I found 3 stalks after a lot of effort to get rid of many tree branches around the trunk of this big tree." Answer Haura which shows on the right side there are 2 stalks of herbal mushrooms and on the left side there is 1 stalk.
"Is there a herbal mushroom under the tree?" ask Dylan.
"Maybe." Answer Aleda.
Aleda and Dylan went straight to the right and left sides respectively to get rid of the tree branches on the other big tree trunk. It takes about 10 minutes to get rid of the twigs and it turns out to be true. They showed the herbal mushroom.
"I found 7 stalks." Answer Dylan.
"So it is true, herbal mushrooms grow on the trunk of a large tree that has long been uprooted." Dylan, Haura and Aleda replied inwardly together.
"I'm gonna start checking all these fallen trees." Haura.
"Good teacher. We'll do it too." Answer Aleda.
"Yes." Yeah." Answer Dylan .
They are very excited to continue to dismantle twigs and other creeping plants that are on the edge of the trunk of a large tree that has fallen to the ground. They started collecting the herbal mushrooms they found.
Some of the herbal mushrooms they found were rotten, some were small and some were still good. So it takes just taking the good ones and leaving the rotten and still small ones to keep growing.
They also found a strange thing close to the fungus around the fallen tree. Something white with a package like the root of a tree.
"Teacher, there's a strange thing I found." Answer Aleda.
"What's weird?" asked Haura and Dylan who were listening to Aleda's voice telepathically.
"Yes. I saw a white color covered in roots. But it's not like a root. I dare not check it. But it's like an egg. But it's white but unshelled." Answer Aleda.
"White but without a shell?" ask Haura.
"Yes. I'll try to touch it." Aleda replied with his hand touching the white thing. It had just been touched slowly but instead broke out with a strange white mucus according to Aleda.
"I didn't press it hard but this broke out a white slime. The protector is not a shell but like a clear thin skin." Aleda and Aleda answered, looking at the roots that were seen covering the white color and looking at something like a cave.
"It looks like it's an insect that likes a humid environment. " Answer Haura.
"Don't think about it. Just leave it and look for herbal mushrooms somewhere else." Answer Haura.
"Good teacher." Replied Aleda who did not want to continue her search.
After half of the stretch of fallen trees they checked. Suddenly they were attacked by a centipede or millipede monster. With its body as big as a tree trunk uprooted with a deep blackish red color.
"Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh." The sound of Aleda's screams were surprised by the appearance of a centipede monster with a human-like head wanting to attack.
"Who are you?" asked the centipede monster standing on the trunk of a fallen tree that was as big as his body.
Dylan and Haura were shocked by the screams of Aleda which sounded loud in their ears. Those who were still engrossed in gathering the herbal mushroom suddenly stopped and looked back.
"What's wrong?" ask Dylan telepathically.
"Monster centipede." Aleda replied telepathically.
"Evoid." Dylan replied to Aleda and flew straight towards Aleda.
Haura who listened to it also immediately left but was stopped by 3 centipede monsters as well.
"What are you doing in our nest?" ask the centipede monster.
