Chapter 11

After a while leaving the Anggasta mansion, Alika now returned with a pile of items in her hands.

Mr. Min came to Alika and wanted to help her but Alika quickly rejected her gently and brought the items directly to her room.

Edgar came out of the bathroom still with wet hair approaching Alika who was now busy looking at her belongings.

Alika stared fixedly at the handsome face of her contract husband and felt fascinated when she saw the eight torn breads that adorned the stomach of her sispek.

"Wahh... So many things you bought today, are you robbing me?" Edgar slanted a smile at his contract wife.

Alika only smiled faintly and showed Edgar the goods with the famous brand proudly.

"Look at what you think it's good I bought it because it's a limited edition." Alika shows Edgar a black bag.

"It's very expensive, I like it so I bought it."

"You've got good taste too."

"It's all because I'm your wife and I don't want to embarrass you for my usual appearance." Alika replied with her sweetest smile.

"Owh so?" Edgar pushes Alika's body until it falls apart on his bed.

Now he also rested his body with one hand and the other hand rubbed Alika's face with tenderness.

Alika closed her eyes enjoying the touch Edgar gave her with her heart beating so fast.

"Edgar Anggasta I love you, I love you so much." Said Alika who now opened her eyes slowly.

Edgar smiled in anguish. "Love? how can that word of love be said from your lips don't you know this marriage is just a contract?" Ask Edgar.

"I want you to cancel that ridiculous contract and I want to be your wife forever." Alika replied sincerely from her heart.

Alika wants to see Edgar's reaction after he declares his love and he starts to prepare his heart so as not to get hurt more deeply.

Alika knows Edgar married her just because he did not want his sister hurt and thought that Alika had only used Arga's love.

"Sleep and come with me to the gynecologist tomorrow." Said Edgar who now distanced himself from Alika.

"Our obstetrician? how is this, what if she finds out I'm pregnant with her child, no! this can't happen I have to find a way to save my future son." Alika stroked her stomach and looked at Edgar who was dressed neatly and left her.

"Edgar Anggasta I never thought there would still be such a petty man like you in this world." Slowly, Alika's tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Alika you must be strong, do not be weak just because of love, only fifteen more days after that I will be free to live part of my life with my son and I hope not to meet again with the Anggasta family."

Alika again suckled all her belongings and kept them in the closet.

Next day. Alika stared at her breakfast lazily she just stirred the rice without eating her making Pak Min look at her full of astonishment.

"Unlike usual Miss Alika ignored her food like this." Mumbled Pak Min who is now approaching Alika.

"What is the food not good? if you do, I'll replace it with a new one." Mr. Min was friendly.

"No need to pack the food so good Alika likes." Alika is forced to eat her food and give a smile to Mr. Min.

After Mr. Min left now David's assistant came to take Alika to the obstetrician.

"Where is Edgar?" Ask Alika who is now looking for the whereabouts of her contract husband.

"Young master is busy so I'll take you for a checkup today." David answered with his face.

"Alright come!" Alika walked ahead of David past Arga who had prepared with his formal attire.

At first glance Arga looked towards Alika and vice versa but quickly Alika lowered her gaze and left the Anggasta mansion.

On the way to the hospital Alika just stared blankly at the crowded streets. David glanced at her at a glance without intending to ask Alika anything.

After a while now they were already in the hospital and welcomed by a doctor who had been appointed by Edgar to check the current state of Alika.

"Let's let's get the check-up started." Take the doctor to Alika.

Alika complied with the doctor's request to enter the examination room but now she stopped her footsteps and looked at David.

"You're not my husband so get out." Alika said, but David did not answer Alika's words and still stood in his place.

"If you're still here, I won't continue this check." Alika said again to give a little threat to David.

Without saying anything now David was out of the room after whispering something to the doctor.

Now the examination began to make Alika nervous and worried he was really afraid if Edgar's speech a few months ago would happen.

"Doctor do you have a child?"

"Yes,"

"Doctor how would you feel if your child was hurt by someone else?" Ask Alika who is now tightly grasping the hand of the doctor.

"I mean miss?" The doctor felt very astonished looking at Alika's face which looked so sad and depressed.

"I'm sixteen weeks pregnant, but I'm afraid if my husband finds out about this pregnancy, I'm begging you to save my future son's life and tell me if I'm not pregnant I'm begging you doctor." Alika begged and prostrated before the doctor with her body started to shake making the doctor feel very pity.

"But my lady won't take any chances, because if anyone tries to play the Anggasta family then there will be no mercy."

"But doc," Alika felt weak when she heard the doctor's answer.

Now the doctor began to examine Alika while Alika only according to resignation he only hoped if Edgar pulled his word back.

"It doesn't matter if she doesn't want this baby but I hope if she doesn't really tell me to abort her." Mumbles Alika batin.

After the examination is completed now Alika and David are waiting for the results of the doctor's report. Alika tightly gripped her hand to reduce the nervousness in her, while David was still with his flat face waiting for the doctor to speak.

The doctor gave a quick glance at Alika, while Alika just shook her head slowly giving the code to the doctor so as not to say the truth.

"Where's the doc is Miss Alika pregnant?" David asked in a cold and stern tone.

The doctor just sighed slowly and looked at David closely. "From Miss Alika's report she..."
