"Can you not, you're not being rude to a woman ?" aline jolted, he grimaced in pain on his wrist which was pulled by Dannis just now.

"A cunning woman like you doesn't deserve to be softened." Dannis stared intently at the woman sitting in front of him.

"So all this time you purposely walked into my office and became my secretary just to spy on me huh ?" continued Dannis again, he shouted loudly yelling Aline.

Leon just laughed at the woman in front of him, "Sir Dannis will definitely regret knowing who you really are." muttered Leon as he looked at Aline.

Leon has put his feelings on Aline since long ago, even he has found out the true origin of Aline. But he could only love in silence because of his status as only an adopted child in the Bryan family.

"Don't take heart from Dannis, he's a good man" Leon said.

"Sounds like you admire your brother so much ?" sahut Aline's.

"But I think your brother loves you a lot too." Aline tried to encourage the man in front of her.

"If he didn't love you, he might have thrown you out on the street." said Aline he seemed to laugh.

"Can we be friends ?" ask Leon seriously.

"You sad ?" ask Sam again.

"Thank you Sam." Aline looked gently at Sam, her eyes looking puffy due to her sobs.

"I'm your best friend, I'll always be there for you." Sam smiled at Aline.

"You know, you're like a god. He was always there for me." said Aline.

"Is he your lover ?" sam asked curiously, because only this time he heard the name called by Aline.

"No, he's my schoolmate." Aline seemed to smile when she remembered the figure of God, a friend who had longed for his presence.
