An Assistant to the Angel of Death

"I really felt Krud's aura, it's possible that he was waiting at my Camp." Claude returns empty-handed while searching for Krud around the royal military camp.

but when he returned to the Camp it was true, there was a man wearing all-black clothes with his legs raised and his hands crossed, with a ignorant smile that was most missed by Claude.

"KRUD!!" Shouted Claude to Krud whom he had not seen for a long time.

"Hehehe, are you an adult? Don't yell so dong, so I'm ashamed to know!" Big and heavy voice with flat tone. Spotlight sharp eyes really gripping, Krud is different from before. It seems that he has been a great angel of death for quite some time. According to the contents of Claude's head who was so flabbergasted to see the change Krud so drastic made Claude envious to see it.

"It looks like you've been going through a lot of changes over the years." Claude approached Krud and sat down right on the chair that was right next to Krud only to be passed by a small table in the middle.

"How's your change?" Krud sipped a cup of coffee out of nowhere the coffee came from.

"Not bad, Thank you!" Claude said flatly and firmly, his already heavy voice giving a very deep charisma.

"That's all?" Krud plays his coffee like a glass of wine.

"That's all, what else do you expect?" Claude said in a flat tone. Claude pretended as if he did not care about Krud, but he was actually looking forward to the day he could meet Krud like this.

"It turns out you're a real adult." Krud smiled small. While throwing away the rest of the coffee that he had previously played like wine.

"You, you've changed a lot. How can an amateur angel like you now look so far away like a real angel of death." Claude played the usual joke they did when they first met, but Claude's tone was no different at all.

"Grandfather, you still like to invite people's emotions." Krud laughed and brandished his scythe at Claude's neck with a very sharp gaze as well as an extremely gripping killing aura.

"Hahahah, you managed to surprise me Krud!" Claude laughed out loud as Krud with his scythe was so close, and Krud's face was clearly visible in Claude's eyes. If Krud gets close to an inch, they'll probably kiss.

"You're a real adult, Claude!" Krud stood up and pulled his scythe back from Claude's neck. "I'm just here to give you a gift, for your hard work all along." Krud paused his words so as to make Claude wait for Krud to continue his words back. "I'll tell you why you can't use magic." Krud turned his back on Claude, preparing to flap his black wings to leave Claude again.

"I don't care anymore." Claude said it calmly as he got up from his seat, speaking behind Krud who was behind him.

"But you have to know this." Krud looked at Claude, but in his previous position, he turned his back to Claude, narrowing his pitch-black eyes.

"Then tell me what happened to me?" Claude couldn't seem to refuse this gift that Krud gave him, because it was about him and the reason he had been waiting for so long.

"You are the devil!" Although the tone of speech was very small, Claude could hear it very clearly.

"I'm not lying, I'm an archangel now." Krud tried to convince Claude that he was not lying with a very small tone of speech.

"How could I possibly be the son of baron Marquez and my mother a great witch, it would be impossible to bear the child of a demon!!!" Claude screamed so that the soldiers opened their tents and made sure that there were no intruders inside Claude's advisory camp.

"Are you okay?" The soldier asked in a normal tone to Claude, but Claude seemed to be confused because he realized he had made the soldiers suspicious of him.

"Of course, I'm working on a war strategy for next month. I can't wait to see our victory." Claude tried to look like nothing happened to him. "Can't they see you?' Claude whispered to Krud who was actually right in front of the soldiers.

"Of course they can't, because they're only level one to three Magicians." Krud laughed disparagingly. Because the only ones who could see him were Magicians with very high levels.

"Alright, we'll go back on patrol." The soldiers just left, leaving no other sentences.

"My time seems to have been wasted a lot, I'll just talk to the point." Krud began to spread his wings to leave immediately. Claude was speechless after he found out that he was one of the demons from the underworld.

"Your statement is correct, you were born into the House of Barons and Great Witches, but there is one thing you missed. You seem to have learned a lot about this world, that great witches cannot marry for the reason of falling in love. So that the gods lower the curse on you.

The apocalypse that I originally told you about isn't really the biggest starting point of world imbalance. Basically the witch hundreds of years ago has used the power of the demons, but with the birth of a baby with a demonic curse like you being the great beginning of the apocalypse it will happen.

I wish your curse could be undone by an abrogating spell when I pay a visit to every Witch tower, but not a single spell can do it. The only thing that can save this world is to make yourself a half-angel demon to avoid the destruction of this world.

That way you're gonna have to help me, kill a man who's been out the rest of his life."

Krud explained at length about something that happened to Claude.

"I refuse to kill a human being, My mother told me not to hurt anyone, especially a very good person." Claude, who preferred to follow his mother's words, was a little disappointed.

"Then, please live with the curse and hurt more innocent people." Krud was about to leave Claude, but it seemed that Claude was beginning to understand what Claude was saying.

"How can I be an angel like you, to undo this spell?" Claude stopped Krud by holding Krud's shoulder, The look in his eyes was so ambitious and excited, though he didn't really want anything troublesome.

Krud smiled cunningly, and left Claude alone in that Camp. "I'll tell you more later!" Those were the last words Claude heard when Krud left him.
