ANAS'S ADVENTURES

ANAS'S ADVENTURES
Chapters. 6. Ustadz AI

Everyone came out of the room except for the stern. The man began to put his hands on Rusmini's stomach.

The sound of Rusmini's screams made Gunawan appear agitated. Every now and then the fifty-year-old man even peeked out from the crack of the door what was happening.

While Anas seemed to sit quietly while replying to a chat from his father.

The sound of Rusmini's screams slowly began to subside. Gunawan looks relieved but Anas actually looks depressed.

Lingga asked Anas to come home, the man felt that something was going to happen to the son.

As usual Anas tried to calm the father down and said everything was fine.

"Everything is ok Dad, don't worry. Anas now has a job, can live independently and have his own place to live. Just wait for the delivery from Anas later yes Dad," said Anas reply to a short message from the father.

When the door of the room opened Anas heard the sound of clanging and the screams of the citizens. Apparently that day there was a boy who fell in the river.

Anas immediately came out of the house and followed the group of people to the river.

All the residents flocked to the river to look for the child who fell into the river.

Some people even went down to dive to look for it.

Anas chose to go down the river to find the child with other residents.

Not long Teguh who had finished treating Rusmini followed into the river. All the residents immediately gave way as Teguh approached them.

"What's going on?" ask Firmly

"Some of them fell" replied one resident

"The son of Ustadz Ali fell into the river" a resident replied

He immediately rubbed his beard. He then looked at some of the residents who threw themselves into the river.

"Is Ustadz Ali here?" ask Firmly

"Sir Ustadz was walking down the Mas River,"

Firmly looked up at the moon that was shining brightly that night.

He then sowed the telon flower on the river stream.

Sure enough, not long a pair of footwear appeared to the surface of the river.

Everyone was shocked to see the incident.

How can, a pair of sandals appear to the surface of the water after sprinkled with telon flowers. Some people who dived into the water found nothing.

Although the incident was unacceptable, but the citizens who know the magic of Mbah paing's son.

"This is Aji's sandal" said a woman who is the wife of Ustadz Ali and the mother of Aji.

"Well, can you find my son?" ask Daisah expectantly

"It could be Bu Ustadz, but it seems like the river bouncer is angry because your husband never participated in Lepen alms," Teguh replied

Daisah seemed silent, the woman realized that her husband had never wanted to follow the ritual event that she considered as idolatry.

"Then what do you have to do so that Aji can meet?" ask Daisah

"Do an apology ritual to the River waiter" Teguh replied

"When and what should you prepare?" ask Daisah

"Just prepare all the ritual needs along with the dowry. If Bu Ustadz does not understand please ask my retainer Toto and Kusno," replied Teguh

"Keep how is the fate of my son Aji?" ask Daisah again

"He must bear his father's guilt. Even though the inhabitants of the river have taken it, don't worry that I will take the body after the ritual is over" Teguh replied

Everyone immediately left after hearing the man's words.

But Daisah still stood dumbstruck staring at the flowing river.

Meanwhile, Anas stopped his steps when he saw the whirlpool filled with telon flowers.

There was an upheaval there that made Anas' curiosity even more so.

It was as if he saw a black shadow that started to come out of the whirlpool.

*Byuuur!!

As if someone was guiding her, Anas continued swimming to the bottom of the river. Instantly his eyes bulged as he looked at the figure of a giant snake with a human head, with mustika radiating on his forehead.

Anas was completely frightened, his body instantly freezing. It cramped until he could no longer swim. His chest began to tighten, and river water started to enter from his nose and mouth.

His body felt weak and everything started to darken.

*grep!

Suddenly someone pulled his body and took him to the bull of times.

"Yuk!!"

Anas instantly spewed out the water he drank after someone pressed his chest.

"Thank God you're sober" said a man dressed in white

Anas sighed violently and turned his head back towards the river vortex.

"What do you see there?" ask the man

"Snake smile" Anas replied with trembling lips

The man only smiled wryly at Anas' reply.

"You'd better go home soon, and get changed," said the man then rushed to leave Anas

Seeing the man leave, Anas woke up and followed him.

"Thank you so much for helping me, if you know what your father's name is?" ask Anas

"I am Aji, the father of a drowning child," the man replied casually

"I'm Anas,"

"Seeing from your dialect, it doesn't seem like you're a native of here,"

"Betul Pak Aji, I am a newcomer. It just so happened that I only had a few days of work at Pak Gunawan's apple plantation" Anas replied

"Then why did you come to the river at night like this?"

"I was just wondering why so often there are children drowning in this river. And I was a little interested when people said they were falling into the river" Anas replied

"Do you believe in that myth?" ask Aji

Anas immediately shook his head.

"If you don't believe why you came here, even to the river all,"

"It's because I want to make sure of something" Anas replied

Not long Daisah ran to her husband who approached her.

"Why is it still here?" ask Aji

"I was waiting for you on purpose. Last time I met Mas Teguh, he kept saying that Aji was a victim because of your mistakes who never wanted to join the Lepen Alms ritual. He also said if Aji wants to meet we have to make a ritual for the inhabitants of this river," said Daisah

"Then you want to follow the shaman's orders?" answer cynical Aji

"Well, how else, that's the only way we can find Aji,"

"Alright, this time I want to expose all their lies" Aji replied

He then took his wife home. During the return trip, Anas asked Aji a lot about the ritual of Lepen and the case of missing children in the river that is rife in the village.

Now Anas' curiosity is slightly answered by Aji's explanation. Although Aji is an ustadz who does not like mystical rituals but actually Aji believes that supernatural beings exist.

"I believe in supernatural beings. Because Allah himself has mentioned it in the Qur'an, it's just that I don't like the way they use rituals to fool citizens and seek profit" Aji said

"If this is me Anas also agrees with ustadz" replied Anas

For some reason even though Anas only knew Ustadz Aji, but he felt more comfortable with him.

Even he felt like he was thinking about the case that happened in the village.

"The evil of their supernatural beings will not be able to kill humans. Likewise, with the collision, they will not ask for the collision if there is no human who wants something from it,"
