Another Chance
Chapter 4
Zoya stared fixedly at the boy who was now sleeping beside her. The woman's clumsy hands continued to rub the cheeks of the adorable boy. Her tears are back. Remembering how he was so cruel to Rasya. He even several times almost harmed the baby without any guilt. The more he grows, the more cruelly Zoya treats him.
His heart was saddened to remember Rasya had been thrown into the pool at the age of two when the boy tried to chase after him when he wanted to go with Jordan. Instead of feeling guilty, Zoya cursed the boy when the gardener jumped into the pool when he saw his little master splashed.
"I'm sorry Mama, son." The little-eyed woman sobbed with all the sins she had committed. Repeatedly he kissed Rasya's cheek with regret. He hugged the one-year-old baby with great love. "Mama promises to make up for all the mistakes you've made. I promise to take care of you even with my own life. Forgive Mama, Son. Forgive Mama."
All night Zoya hugs the boy. Several times he also checked his breath and pulse Rasya because of trauma with what happened before. That night he couldn't sleep and just kept Rasya out of the cold. Repeatedly the tall woman enveloped the toddler who always kicked her blanket.
In the middle of the night, Zoya is hungry. That is his habit, even though he is always on a strict diet to maintain weight. But that night he really felt hungry and his stomach felt sore because his stomach disease relapsed. Finally he was forced to leave the room to the kitchen to find food that he could eat.
Zoya jumped in shock when she opened the door there was Nio there. And the same guy was surprised.
"Mas, what's here?" the beautiful woman looked at her husband.
Nio cleared his throat with a misbehaved face. I don't know why Mas's call from Zoya sounded so tickling in his ears. He himself was still confused by Zoya's sudden gentle demeanor. Never mind calling Mas, just saying the name seems like Zoya is very disgusted. But now, the twenty-one-year-old woman called so politely as a wife who respected her husband.
Ah, don't be surprised by Zoya's young age. Yes, during the tragic incident and when Arsenio married her, Zoya was 19 years old. That's why the woman got such an incredible mental shock. Then when Arsenio said she wanted responsibility, Zoya's family, who wanted to throw it away, forced the young woman to accept Nio's proposal with many threats. Inevitably Zoya accepts even though her heart is in revolt. From there Zoya hates Nio to the highest level. And the man also taught Zoya's attitude so that he remained patient with his wife's bad attitude.
"Mas Nio."
The man gasped as the woman's delicate hand rubbed her hand, making the sturdy body feel a strange air. Repeatedly Nio cleared his throat to neutralize his feelings.
"I want to go to the kitchen" said Nio who suddenly misbehaved. The man swung his legs towards the kitchen followed by Zoya in the back because he also wanted to go there.
In the kitchen Nio pretended to gulp down some drinking water. Occasionally watching his busy wife find out what. Sometimes he opens the refrigerator, then closes it again and moves to the kitchen cabinet. After checking, he sighed in annoyance. Until finally he reached for instant noodles and wanted to cook them only with eggs.
"What do you want?" tanya Nio saw Zoya confusedly staring at the stove.
"You're cooking noodles, but I don't know how to turn on the stove" the pink-pajamaed woman replied with a clumsy smile.
"Huh? Lighted stove? A Zoya Lavani wants to cook?" nio asked with a mocking laugh.
"Indeed why? I hungry. I can't bear to call the waiter" said Zoya, refocusing on trying to start a fire. Finally he managed to turn the tool near the stove until the fire lit up to make Zoya excited.
"It looks like eating with chili will be more delicious," muttered Zoya smiling then walked to the refrigerator and picked up some cayenne pepper.
The beautiful woman grabbed the cutting board, did not forget the knife, and then began to cut the chili. Until suddenly he screeched making Nio who had been watching panic since.
"Why?" ask the man.
"My hand was scratched by a knife" Zoya said about to put her finger in her mouth but was immediately restrained by Nio.
"Don't clean it with your mouth." Nio takes his wife to the washbasin and turns on the water. Zoya grimaces when the injured hand is exposed to water.
"Your hands should be clean before treatment" Nio said.
After the blood did not come out again, Nio took Zoya to sit in the pantry chair. He walked over to one of the nightstands that had a first aid kit, then walked back to his wife and sat down before her. He grabbed a slashed hand, then poured an atiseptic on a cotton bud. He was about to clean the wound, but was held by Zoya's hand.
"Let me alone," said the curly-haired woman about to take the small object. But his hand was pushed over by Nio.
"Shush." Finally Nio put the small cotton on the wife's wound. Zoya looked grimaced but she held it. Afterwards, Nio pairs the plaster to cover the wound.
"Thank you."
Nio looked at his smiling wife. He was a little surprised to hear the emotional woman say thank you. However, he ignored it by putting the first aid box back in place.
"Where are you going?" nio asked as she watched Zoya move from her seat.
"Instant noodle cooking. I'm hungry" Zoya replied.
"Sit down, let me make it. I'm afraid you blew up this kitchen," said Nio ketus and made Zoya pop her lips.
The handsome man with thick eyebrows continued to cut the chili that his wife had brought earlier. After that he grabbed something inside the refrigerator and walked towards the food storage room. It turned out that Nio took some vegetables such as chicory, wertel and frozen peas as well as a barn, as well as a small box of beef cornet.
After boiling the boiled water, Nio put two packs of instant noodles without seasoning as well as frozen peas and carrots and chicory and boiled them. Unlike in other stoves, Nio put pieces of onion and chili on a skillet that was given a little zaitu oil. After feeling fragrant, he put the cornet and sauteed it. "Eat it, don't ask much" said Nio who sat next to his wife.
Zoya just raises her shoulders, then devours the noodles. "Don't kid!" exclaims happily.
Nio's face turned red when he saw Zoya's happy look. During his time as his wife, the woman never showed such adorable looks. This was the first time Nio had seen him. Ah, really he felt wrong and wanted to pinch his wife's cheek.
Nio was slightly aghast when Zoya thrust out a fork filled with fried noodles. He knitted his eyebrows full of question marks.
"try on. It's delicious" said the lentic-eyed woman sticking a fork out in front of her husband.
Nio refused by pushing Zoya's arm slowly. "I don't eat instant food" he said.
"Come Mas. It's really delicious. Mas in order to feel how great Mas is in cooking this noodle," said Zoya again with an enthusiastic face.
As bewitched, Nio opened his mouth and accepted the wife's bribe.
"Enak, right?" ask Zoya with sparkling eyes.
Nio just nodded with eyes so adoring the woman in front of him who looked charming.
Zoya also enjoyed the noodles again with raven. Nio's eyes could not be separated from staring at the woman who had long been a queen in his heart, even though the woman hated herself from the beginning.
