Episode 37: Samsul Jealous of Dira

Jealousy is an inevitable feeling in human life. It can come up in a variety of situations, including in friendships. Samsul has faced a burning jealous ordeal against Dira, his own best friend. However, he did not want those feelings to destroy their relationship. He decided to deal with it in a wise manner.

After their conversation in the library, Samsul attempts to understand the other side of the story. He tried to look at the relationship between Dira and Rizky with a more rational perspective. It was possible that they were indeed only good friends and that misunderstanding occurred only in Samsul's mind.

Samsul decides to invite Dira to speak in private. He wanted to express his feelings and get clarification on the doubts and jealousy that had been weighing on his mind all along. After class, Samsul meets Dira at the campus cafe which becomes their favorite place to chat.

"Dira, can I talk to you about something that's bothering me?" samsul said with a pounding heart.

Dira looked at Samsul with an attentive expression. "Of course, Samsul. What's on your mind?"

Samsul took a deep breath before continuing, "Honestly, Dira, I feel jealous seeing you so familiar with Rizky. I know I shouldn't feel this way, but this feeling keeps haunting me."

Dira was saddened to hear the confession. He understands that jealousy is a complicated and sometimes uncontrollable emotion. "Samsul, sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable. But, I need to tell you that Rizky is a good friend of mine, and there is nothing more. I appreciate our relationship, and I don't want to lose you."

Samsul was relieved to hear Dira's explanation. There was a sense of relief flowing within him, as at least Dira clarified that there was no romantic relationship between them. However, he still felt that there was a bit of uncertainty.

"Dira, can you tell me more about your relationship with Rizky? I want to understand fully so that I can forget this jealousy of mine," said Samsul honestly

Samsul pondered for a moment. He felt he had to give full confidence to Dira. What he said sounded logical and reasonable. He realized that this matter had more to do with believing in himself than with Dira's relationship with others.

"Dira, thank you for explaining everything honestly. I apologize for my excessive jealousy. I realized that this matter was actually within myself," Samsul humbly said.

Dira smiled understandingly. "I understand, Samsul. Jealousy is a natural thing to happen in our friendship. But, what matters is how we deal with it and still trust each other."

The two of them sat in silence for a moment, contemplating their twists and turns journey of love. Samsul feels grateful to have Dira as a woman who is always loyal. He feels a responsibility to work on confidence and overcome unwarranted jealousy.

Samsul's proximity to Dira did not change. They are still together in every campus activity, sharing laughter, and supporting each other. Samsul finds happiness in their relationship that strengthens and understands each other.

accept the fact that friendship can involve closeness to others without damaging the bond that already exists. He understands that the relationship between Dira and Rizky is a part of Dira's life that does not threaten their friendship.
