Moses complained to his Lord about what he feared from Pharaoh and his army about his murder. Moses also complained to his Lord about the rigidity of his tongue, because actually the word (tongue) Moses experienced a stiffness that made him unable to speak too much. And Moses asked his Lord that he be helped by his brother (i.e., Aaron) who would later become his interpreter of many words which he could not express eloquently.

So God granted his request and released his tongue, and God sent down the revelation to Aaron, and commanded Moses to meet Aaron. So Moses set out with his staff to meet Aaron the US, after which the two set out for the land where Pharaoh was.
