Chapter 43

Early in the morning Ning Annisa was preoccupied with taking care of the needs of her husband who was going to the boarding school. By the door of two suitcases they had lined up neatly.

"Love, do I wear this shirt today?" rafael asked while showing a shirt and shirt made of cotton and chino pants.

"Yes, Ayang. Don't wear jeans, yeah." Ning Annisa was applying lip balm on her lips.

"Love," call Rafael who is now standing near the woman.

"Yes, what's wrong?" Ning Annisa turned her face to the husband.

Raphael kissed his wife's lips gently and demanded. The two young men's hands gently hugged the couple's body, instead the woman draped the two holdings on Rafael's neck. At the end they do a long-lasting intimate kiss.

"Morning kiss," Rafael said with a mischievous smile that he often showed Ning Annisa, lately.

"This has been more than the tenth time Ayang said that, since waking up," grumbled the girl veiled mocca with a sullen face because she had to repeat her grooming.

Rafael's other luck was that he and Ronald were quite far apart even though they were both in the first class. He could also make out with Ning Annisa without always worrying about the views of others.

Sitting hand in hand and talking alone made Rafael very happy. There is no need for drama cuddling and kissing in public places.

"Love, I can't wait to see Abah and Umma. All this time I could only communicate with them on the phone line or video call" Rafael said, wiping the back of his wife's hand.

"Abah and Umma were also looking forward to Ayang's presence there," Ning Annisa replied.

"Hopefully I could live there. In order to get through this holiday day with something that is very beneficial to me," Rafael said with a gentle smile.

The two lovebirds who were in the closet filled the time by talking to each other during the trip to Pesantren Al ikhlas. They talk about something as light as they talk about their childhood.

It did not feel they reached the boarding school at around 11.00.00 noon. Rafael's family and Ronald's family face the head of the council in his room. Both Regan and Fernando (i forgot Ronald's papa was given a name or not, huh? 🤭), have contacted the chairman of the board of Pesantren Al sincere since far away. Now they are all talking about the learning system and where their children live.

"Every school holiday, our pesantren always opens a lightning pesantren program. Of course they will all be placed in the same boarding school, different from the students who live here," explained Ustadz Maulana.

"Learning classes are also different from the more dense students and the lessons are also more, because they are used to it. Unlike the lightning pesantren santri, they studied after the time of Dhuha until the time of Isya. Of course with rest time thirty minutes before and after prayer time congregation. After that they are free, want to rest or want to participate in other santri activities," continued Ustadz Maulana

"Alhamdulillah, finally Rafael and Ronald want to participate in this activity. May it strengthen their faith and increase their religious knowledge" said the elderly man.

"Rather than they spend time in vain, it is better for them to follow useful activities like this" Fernando continued.

Kiai Akbar was happy to hear the words of the two foreign-blooded men. Both do not want their children to fall into heresy and unjust deeds.

So do their wives who support their husbands. They know they cannot educate their children well. Especially educating their children in the affairs of religious science, because of their knowledge.

Rafael is looking forward to seeing his wife again. From the airport, they separated because of two pickup cars. The young man was already itching to hug his wife.

Indira pinched the arm of the son who whined he wanted to go outside the room. The middle-aged woman was anxious because of her daughter's behavior, she knew through the eyes of her son who had wanted to meet the idol.

"Ma" called Rafael in a whisper.

"What, anyway!" reply Indira.

"Love" said Rafael.

Indira, upset about her son's behavior, asks them for permission to go outside first. Fortunately Kiai Akbar and Bu Nyai Khodijah wanted to understand Rafael.

"Where to go for a walk, around the pesantren. So that you better know the situation here," said Kiai Akbar.

"Let Moses take them around" continued Nyai Khadijah.

Rafael and Ronald follow in the footsteps of a well-built and clean-skinned young man. Every place or room they went through, the young man explained well.

"Assalamualaikum, Ning Annisa," said Moses as they passed two veiled women who had come out of the fence.

"Wa'alaikumsalam," replied the two veiled women.

Rafael was very happy to see his wife. He and Ning Annisa glanced at each other and threw a smile. Although Ning Annisa was wearing a veil that covered her face, but the shape of her eyes was also curved indicating that she was smiling.
