Chapter 5

Rafael and Ning Annisa who were currently in a very in-team position made the three men and an adult woman very surprised. They did not know what they were seeing right now.

"Mas Fathir,"

"Chief School."

Ning Annisa was shocked because her biological brother was now standing at the door along with the school guard, the principal, and the library guard. On one side Ning Annisa felt happy when the door opened, but on the other she also felt ashamed of being caught locked up together with a man.

"What are you doing!" Gus Fathir was angry when he saw his younger sister in the arms of a male student.

Rafael and Ning Annisa immediately broke free after Gus Fathir pulled Ning Annisa's body and pushed Rafael. She dislikes seeing her sister being hugged by a man who is not a mahram to her.

"Raphel! What is this" the headmaster asked furiously.

The young man just kept silent. He glanced towards Ning Annisa, hoping to help himself explain what was going on at the moment.

"We are confined in this space because accidentally the door was closed," said Ning Annisa who replied to a question from the principal.

"The door cannot be opened from the inside. Even though we were screaming for help, no one helped us open this door. My cell phone is dead and I have Ms. Teacher in the bag that is stored outside this room" Rafael continued.

Gus Fathir looked at his sister's face. He seeks the truth through the eyes. He knew that his sister would not do anything despicable, let alone commit adultery.

"Call your parents at this time, get them to come to school!" the principal's word.

"What are they called for?" rafael asked not to understand why his parents this time should be involved in this incident.

"Of course to tell them, what are you doing right now" replied the man who holds the power of ALEXANDRIA High School.

"But we didn't do anything last night" Rafael argued.

"Anyway, you two must account for this behavior of yours!" the Headmaster said firmly.

Ning Annisa and Rafael were shocked to hear the headmaster's words. Then, the two asked simultaneously, "I mean?"

"Who knows what you've been doing here since yesterday afternoon until this morning. Two men, a woman and an adult male, were found in an in_team position. Then you must be married in order to maintain the good name of the family and the installation of this foundation.

"What?" Rafael and Ning Annisa, like a lightning strike. Both were shocked, distrustful, and certainly unwilling.

"Mas Fathir …." Ning Annisa had already put on a hardened face on her brother.

"We'd better talk about this with the extended families of the two families. Because marriage is not something that is taken lightly. It is a worship that perfects part of religion. You can't play games in choosing a partner. I don't want my sister to go through a divorce because she's not happy living her home life" Fathir said.

Rafael stared in amazement at the adult male who worked as a lecturer. He totally agrees with her. He also does not want to marry carelessly, especially now he is still in school.

The headmaster and his two men were whispering about this. And then they agreed.

"Alright, we'll hear your decision tomorrow. Now home! Before the other students came to school," said the Headmaster.

Rafael and Ning Annisa went back to their respective places. They were silent on the way to the parking lot. Only Gus Fathir speaks occasionally.

"Sir, you are worrying. Your phone doesn't pick up even at night. For fear of something happening to you, I came straight here. In your contract is not there, you also contact the principal. And what did you see?"

"Mas knows you will never do anything that is forbidden by religion. But you have disappointed our family. What our big family said in the village, a Ning was caught locked in a room alone with a man who was not his mahram. Umma, I don't agree that you teach at a public school like this. I'll find a girls' special school if you want to teach."

Rafael, who had been listening silently, was envious of the veiled woman. He never nagged himself for being so worried and affectionate. Even her parents somehow last hugged or embraced her, as Gus Fathir did to Ning Annisa.

The next night the two families met each other at a restaurant. They reserved a privacy room to discuss the issues with their two children.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Kiai. Because his actions got your daughter in trouble" her father Rafael said.

"It's not Rafael's fault entirely, Mr. Regan. Maybe this is a sign of fate, we can be in touch with each other" Kiai Akbar replied kindly.

Rafael who was wearing casual clothes looked more mature. In contrast, Ning Annisa who wears a soft pink colored gown looks younger. These two people secretly exchanged lyrics. Rafael only found out the name of the woman Annisa after the two families introduced themselves.

"Then, should we marry them both?" ask Regan.

"It's best that way, it's the best way for both. Even so, I hope that we as parents are still monitoring them. Annisa is the only daughter of our family. Surely we all want happiness in him" replied Kiai Akbar.

"I will love him like my own son. I just hope Ning Annisa can become Rafael's companion so that she can become a better person again" said a beautiful woman who looked graceful.

Raphael swore in his heart. He was upset that both his parents were not paying attention to him. They also did not give her love and affection.

Different from Ning Annisa who kept praying in her heart. He resigned to the marriage line that was destined by God for him. Although he knew at this time the young man was still in the dark because he did not know the science of religion. However, who knows in the future he can be a man who can be a priest for himself. 

Love's. It was clearly not present in the two hearts of that person. As time passes, that feeling will appear.

"So will we love Nak Rafael as much as our son" replied Umma Khadijah in a soft voice.

"Thank you, Miss. We are happy to be with the leader of the Pesantren Al-Ikhlas cottage" Regan said.

Rafael widened his eyes. He did not expect that his future father-in-law was one of the owners of the famous boarding house. 

Raphael knew nothing about religion. He was minimal in this knowledge. He only knows his religion Islam, his God is Allah, his Prophet is Muhammad. He did not know that 'Ning' and 'Gus' were titles or calls that were often pinned on the descendants of Kiai founder of the boarding school.

Even Gus Fathir to convince himself, earlier asked Rafael to say two sentences of the creed. Rafael's face was a mixture of Caucasians because one of his parents was a stranger.

"In addition please teach us to learn the religion of Islam" Regan said.

"If it's God willing, Annisa can help you" replied Kiai Akbar.

The two families agreed to marry Rafael to Ning Annisa tomorrow after the Fajr prayer at the nearby mosque of Rafael's parents' home.

"Annisa, you show your face to your future husband" said Kiai Akbar.

Raphael swallowed his saliva. He felt his heart go along. The curiosity of the face of the woman who had been teasing him since last night would now be able to see.

'I was very curious about his face. Is she pretty or ugly?'
