PHASE 28 . THE RED POINT IS TARGETED

Alan chuckled in response. The man rested the back of his arm on the building's guardrail, just like Erick had done since.

Meanwhile, Erick frowned. “You ...” Erick hung up his words. Netra brightly observed every inch of writing on the paper he held. “Not possible, ‘kan?” muttered.

Alan looked towards the young man. “The fact is so,” the ideal.

“He's alive?” Erick looked at the man nearby in disbelief.

A faint smile was engraved on the corner of the doctor's lips.

“Where did you get it?”ask the 17-year-old.

“You don't need to know,” replied Alan.

Again, Erick's forehead shriveled for a moment. Until finally, the young man lowered his gaze and stared at the black floor he was on now. “But ... why did you tell me?” tanyanya. “You know how I am, ‘kan?”

Alan looked back at Erick after throwing his gaze for a moment outside the building's glass window. “You

scrambling oxygen with Adnan, doesn't mean you won't give him time to breathe either, ‘kan?” ask the man.

Erick looked up at the doctor. The man's words made him think hard.

“You still don't understand?” alan asked again as he turned around and leaned against the guardrail. “You and Adnan both want power. But you guys were partners a long time ago. Help each other. Don't you want to help her again after she was sent to Cosmo?”

“I don't want that,” Erick said.

“Long.” Alan interrupted. “It's clear that you really want to control Sarkan. You yourself already know, if you want to bring the Clibanarii you have to get an important position, whether it's in Cosmo or this base—”

“While I can see it, I can't possibly control it, Alan,” cut the young man half a sigh. “You yourself already know this, ‘kan?”

Alan flinched and exhaled a long breath. He nodded mafhum. “I worked on that project with them. Seeing them working together all the time. I'm sure Harris' death must have been for some reason,” he said without looking at the young man next to him.

Erick looked at the young doctor. Thin glasses perched at the base of Alan's nose blocked the young man's sight from seeing his eyes.

“I know if Clibanarii like Sarkan has been set up in such a way that only certain people can control it,” said the young man.“Dad also told me, if it's free if I can surpass Adnan. I'll never be able to look like—”

“You also know about this?” sela Alan's.

Erick cleared his throat and nodded his head. “Professor Harris himself, ‘kan, who designed the Clibanarii?” tanyanya ensure.“Dad never told him, but I'm looking for his own. People like you are not good at hiding secrets. Little by little must have been dismantled as well.”

“You are even smarter than me, Erick,”, Alan said, looking at Erick. “But why are you half-heartedly siding with your father?”

Erick flinching. Something suddenly stuck in the recesses of his heart. “Not half-hearted, I just ...” Youth

again, it hangs his words. His gaze was fixed on a man who walked up to them. He was mafhum right who the brown haired figure that resembled him was.

“How much longer should it wait for you to gather intentions, huh?” ask the man. His gaze was fixed on the envelope held by Erick. “What is it?”

Erick rushed to give it to Alan. “Only ordinary inspection data,” answers holding nervous.

Hubert—the man who just came was—memicing towards his own son.

“Do I look like I'm lying?” Erick cast his gaze directly at the man before him.

The man clucked. “Go to the hangar!” he said, “I don't want your name tarnished because of your delay in making a decision.”

Erick flinching. His hands were still clenched tightly, even after Hubert had passed leaving the two of them.

“What mission did he assign this time?” whisper Alan.

The young man showed a squeeze of the memo that was in his fist. Alan only raised both eyebrows in response. “Destroy the eastern alliance colony in 24.” area Erick said. “I forgot which area.”

Alan then looked at the envelope he was holding, then looked back at the brunette. “You boarded Analemma?” the scales.

Erick nodded.

“Connect your communication channel with me when it is nearing the area 24.” pinta Alan. “I'll keep an eye on your firing line from my personal control room.”

“Hm?” Erick frowned in an instant. “How to? Anu ... I mean ...”

“Do not be stupid!” put the guy in the glasses. “Before becoming a doctor, I was a colleague of your father and Harris. You don't have to think about how I'm going to go, because what you have to worry about is ...”

“What?”

Alan looked straight at Erick until they faced each other long enough.

“Possibly the girl you are looking for .. is in that colony.”

“What's up?” jason asked as he strove to see the big screen on the dashboard .

“There are several planes here, sir,” replied one of the officers.

“Have you checked them from where?”

“We have tried it, but due to signal limitations, their appearance is not so clear—”

“It can be confirmed that it is an enemy plane,” said Jo cut off the remarks of the officer beside him. “I will ask others to be on standby immediately.”

Jo presses a button to give a signal to the APC and another Clibanarii that has also been ready since a while ago.

“I went to my Clibanarii first,” concluded Jason as he turned around to exit APC.

“Don't be too careless to act, Captain,” Jo said without looking at the man who was almost at the door.

Jason turned around for a moment while grieving. “You're getting smarter,” murmured before finally getting out of there.

Jo only smiled faintly in response to the man's words before returning to focus on the dashboard in front of him.

While on the other hand, Erick is ready with Analemma. The iron bird led him to area 24 with the other soldiers. The blue sky that was enveloped by the dry and hot air was pierced through quickly. There were at least ten planes including Analemma maneuvering this second.

The young man occasionally saw a memo that he had intentionally attached to the dashboard. Tell the father in writing

on the paper it was still clearly visible even though it had been squeezed firmly by it. Every now and then he sighed, releasing all the things that were stuck in his emotions now.

Alan's statement regarding the location of the girl made him upset. If it is true that area 24 is where it is, then he must be careful to shoot. However, another thing with his colleagues. They must have shot in a row as long as they hit the target. That's what Erick is afraid of now, whether he can save Adara, or even make her die.

“Captain, area 24 already visible.”

A voice surprised Erick. The young man understood the owner of the voice. A woman who was three years old on top of him and became one of his colleagues when they blew up the Ankaa Spot some time ago.

“Well,” timpal Erick. “Focus attack on their Clibanarii first.”

“Received!”

Erick changed the course of communication instantly. Quietly remember Alan's request before he left earlier, although his heart is still in a dilemma with the father's word that really must be implemented by him.

“You're nearing the point?” alan asked after the communication channel was connected.

The young Frederick was thumping.

“I'll send you the signal,” said the doctor who moved in a dark room with many buttons and a large screen in front of him.

Erick started flying Analemma almost close to a running colony. A gust of dry wind along with dust and sand whirls began to block his vision. The young man changed the course of his plane along with the iron bird belonging to another soldier. Until finally, something caught Erick's attention. A red dot suddenly appeared on the dashboard screen.

“It is Adara,” says Alan.

The young man frowned for a moment.

“It all depends on you, whether you will eliminate it ... or not,” continued the doctor. “Make your decision wisely, Erick.”

Alan belies his speech before breaking the communication channel, while Erick swallows the saliva. For some reason, he was in a dilemma. His thumb did not want to press the missile button on the lever he was holding at the moment, but given the task laid down by his father made him have to think twice. He also wondered why doctors like Alan could easily get Adara's access so quickly than expected. Something must have been kept secret by him and of course people like Erick could not have been immediately told let alone this was related to the wishes of the young man.

“Captain.”

Again someone unravels Erick's daydreams. The sound of the missile began to cringe. His colleagues from other aircraft were constantly launching missiles and were retaliated directly by the eastern alliance colony.

Erick began to focus his gaze on one red dot where it came from one of the APCs. Again, his mind was ringing about how the girl could have this kind of detector. He guessed how special the girl was and it was only natural that Adnan and Alan continued to look for her despite not getting any news of her.

“You guys just focus on his Clibanarii. Let me focus on the APC,” Erick's word again changes the direction of Analemma.

“Good.”

Analemma flew away for a moment, before finally manoeuvring towards the eastern alliance colony again. Erick held tightly onto the controller lever beside him. The thumb is ready to press the button at the top of the lever.

Cold sweat began to wash over his forehead. Erick knew that what he was doing was wrong, but for the sake of something he couldn't tell anyone—even his own father—ia had to do it. He could not think clearly this second until he finally subconsciously pressed the missile launcher button right in the direction of the APC where Adara was.

Meanwhile, Adara, who is in the same APC as Jo and Jun, turns attention to a sound that is getting closer to their transport vehicle. His eyes blocked with his shock that formed an instant.

“ADARA!!”
