Ferdinand looked at the afternoon sky which he thought was dark. It is as if nature knows what it is feeling now. Ferdinand did his ritual. Exhaling through the mouth. Trying to stabilize his breathing and also calm down. He could have been through all this. Ferdinand strengthened his heart.

After they had long been silent and felt quite calm, Ferdinand took another breath. He looked towards Selena.

"Let me drive you home" Ferdinand smiled faintly, then got up from his seat.

Selena nodded and stood up. He followed Ferdinand's footsteps who walked first. Nobody spoke, they just kept walking all the way to the cafe parking lot.

"Maybe this will be the last time we meet, Selena" Ferdinand said.

Sad, disappointed, all of this must be done alone. And this really hurts. Ferdinand could only show that he could get through it. But it's really going to be hard. He can't get through it without Selena. His mind was raging, his heart was not calm. Ferdinand still did not think Selena was married and it turned out that the man was Zionathan.

They both got in the car. Ferdinand no longer opened the car for him. A sense of awkwardness suddenly surrounded them. Ferdinand sat down. He turned the key in the contact and started the engine of his car, then began to step on the accelerator to run his car away from the place.

Silence rippled between the two. They just look at the road in silence. Selena turned on her car audio to break their silence. While Ferdinand was dissolved in his own thoughts. Stareed mad.

Not wanting to be caught in the silence, Selena began to speak.

"Ferdi?" Call Selena slow.

Ferdinand flinching. He is still late in his thinking.

"Ferdinand?" Call Selena a second time.

"Huh?" Ferdinand looked towards Selena. Responding calls.

Selena smile. "When did you know Zionathan?"

Ferdinand returned the smile, then answered Selena's question. "I've known Zionathan since he moved to A. At that time he was only 12 years old. Zionathan and I were so close, we even said gay couple." Ferdinand laughs.

"Gay couple?"

"Hm. Everywhere always together. Inseparable. So people think we're a gay couple." Ferdinand smiled again. "But everything has changed since the events of five years ago." Ferdinand was silent for a moment, he exhaled a long breath and stared at me in the direction of the streets.

"Five know the past? What do you mean about the accident?"

"Hm. Olivia's death was purely my fault."

"Huh?" Selena's forehead is shrinking. He was still waiting until Ferdinand said everything.

"At first I just wanted to make Zionathan jealous. Because I know who he is. I deliberately planned a silly dance and asked Olivia to pair up with me and I managed to make her angry. Zionathan left the show. The anger was so long-tailed that it caused an accident."

Selena's eyes are perfectly rounded. He covered his mouth with both hands. "Is it because of that, he hates Ferdinand so much?" selena said in her heart.

"When the accident happened, I was there Ferdi. I helped evacuate the victims of the accident, which is what Zionathan and Olivia mean."

"Huh? really true?"

"Hm." Selena nodded quickly. "Definitely Zionathan was so devastated."

Ferdinand took his breath. "Yes. Zionathan broke off our friendship. He even considered me an unforgivable enemy. She hates me so much. I understand that, sometimes an apology is not enough to restore his heart. Because I know, she loves Olivia so much. Even when five years had passed, Zionathan was still in a state of grief. She lost Olivia. It was like a nightmare for her." Ferdinand was silent for a moment. Give her a chance to catch her breath. Selena kept quiet and kept listening.

"And I realized what I was doing was wrong. I just want Zionathan to forgive me." Ferdinand said in his lowest voice.

Selena took her breath. All about Zionathan answered already. That's why dad set her up so she can forget her past. And the problem of the dream. Everything is interconnected. It was no coincidence, all this was a plan from God.

"Do you love Zionathan?" Ferdinand asked as he exhaled looking straight ahead.

Selena smiled faintly, looking towards Ferdinand who was focused on the streets. "Yes. Zionathan was my first love."

"Did Zionathan love you?"

I don't know why that question bothered his heart. But he didn't want to doubt. Zionathan's confession at least shows that he was really serious about starting a new life with her. Selena smiled and said "Hmm. Of course he loves me."

Ferdinand took a deep breath and just looked forward. "Thank God he loved you. I thought he was numb about love."

Selena laughed awward when she heard that.

"You didn't ask me how I could love you?"

Selena smiled wistfully and just kept quiet while lowering her head.

"I liked you when I first saw you coming with Chesa to the cafeteria in the early days of college. You're so brave."

Selena took a deep breath and looked ahead. He made no comment at all.

Car tires kept turning, they drove down the road. After a few minutes, they arrived at a luxurious apartment. Ferdinand stopped his car right in front of the sturdy fence. Selena had already removed her seatbelt and they went down at the same time.

"Thank you for Ferdinand today. You're still my best friend, right?" Selena said smiling. His soul suddenly disappeared. He seems to understand the situation now.

"Hey.why talk like that. Of course you'll still be my best friend." Ferdinand said giving his best smile. He did not want Selena to worry about his feelings.

Selena smile. "You didn't stop by first?" selena asked standing in front of the fence.

"I'll just go home. I'm afraid Zionathan misunderstood me and hated me even more."

"Alright, comein!" selena.

"No, I'd like to take you to the apartment lobby."

"To get in" said Selena.

Ferdinand smiled. "Come in!"

Selena let out a long breath, "Hmmm be careful on the way" he said slowly.

Ferdinand looked at Selena with a glaring look. Selena smiled and immediately turned her body to enter.

"Selena.." call Ferdinand.

"Hmmm..." Selena quickly turned her body around.

Ferdinand took a breath and smiled at Selena. "Never leave Zionathan."

"Ferdi," Selena's eyes glazed over upon hearing that sentence.

"Please promise me Selena" Ferdinand looked at Selena expectantly. "You're not going to give up and keep going with him. I see clearly. Your happiness is Zionathan. You trust him enough, I know who Zionathan is. If he's in love, he'll always protect you." Ferdinand took a deep breath. "Responsible to me, you'll be happy."

Tears that had accumulated earlier fell just like that soaked his cheeks. He clasped his lips and nodded quickly. "You should promise me too. Will find women much better" Selena said in a stammering voice.

Ferdinand remained silent. "That question seems very difficult Selena. But I'll try and promise to find a good woman like you said."

Selena smile. "Thank you Ferdi. You should be happy and get married quickly. Youunderstand?"

"Hmmm. Of course, I can't stand living alone either. Just wait, I must have invited you." Ferdinand smiled knotingly.

"Please promise me you'll be okay. And if you need anything, don't ever hesitate to call me."

"Surely." Ferdinand replied taking in his breath that felt tight.

Selena wiped her tears quickly. "You know what, Ferdinand?"

"What?"

"I'm grateful to know you."

Ferdinand smiled again. "And you know what, Selena?"

"Hmm?" Selena raised her eyebrows.

"I'm so grateful to know you. You're the most chatty woman" Ferdinand said. "You're chatty, but I like it."

They both looked down for a moment and smiled.

"We'll be fine." They spoke together and then smiled again.

"Now come in!" Said Ferdinand again.

"Be careful, yeah,"

"Hmm."

Somehow seeing the look on Ferdinand's face that was not as usual, made Selena not calm. This time it felt different, like restless? Ferdinand smiled again as Selena peeked at the slightly opened door.

"Are you gonna keep peeking at me, Selena?" ferdinand smiled slightly.

Selena smiled and waved her hand. "Bye, be careful."

Selena is no longer visible. As he turned around, Ferdinand's tears fell. His heart was broken, torn and even crushed. He went back into the car. Ferdinand covered his face with a hand. Shoulders shaking. Ferdinand was still in a closed position, trying to suppress all his feelings. Only Selena's face came across. He bowed.

The energy in his body seemed to be lost somewhere, now all that was left was a sense of sadness and helplessness. This pain was eating away at his soul. Ferdinand looked out, He wanted to strengthen his heart, but the more he was unable to, the more the wound scratched his deepest heart and he could not express it with words.

A few minutes later, Ferdinand ran his car out of the luxury apartment. He just focused on driving. The car split the road.

Selena sat on her bedroom couch. Massaging his back that feels sore. He twisted it over and over again so that his muscles would not strain anymore. He took the phone he left behind. Selena can guess for sure a lot of calls came in.

Selena stared at her phone screen in confusion. There was no call from Zionathan. The call was from Alex only. Selena quickly contacted him.

"Why Alex?" Ask Selena when the call is connected.

"So the director called me and asked for you."

"Huh? showing me, Alex? Why didn't the director just call me, sir?"

"I also did not know and he even asked what time you left the office, whether you had gone home or not. He just called me fifteen minutes ago."

"Huh? Did Mr Alex say, I'm clearance to go out?"

"No. I didn't say anything. Did something happen?"

"Ohhh...." Selena let out a laugh. "No sir, thanks for the information sir."

"OK, same secretary Selena."

Selena ended her call. He breathed a long breath. The feeling was suddenly not good. "Did he know I went with Ferdinand?"
