Chapter 43. Letter from Martha

"Savana, calm down, son." Steve spoke while holding his daughter's shoulder. But Savanna was deaf, she approached the corpse and opened it with a heavy heart.

To his surprise he saw the figure of a white-haired woman with her pale face lying helpless. Her tears shed immediately upon seeing that figure. The person who became a mother and father for her.

"GRANNY!!" savana's hysterical screams saw the grandmother's corpse lying stiff on top of the gurney. Afraid something might happen to the Savannah, Steve hurriedly approaches the Savannah.

"Savana, honey." Steve held Savana's hand tightly. The girl was crying sobbing. He did not believe the facts in front of his eyes.

"No pa, this is impossible.no! Grandma.granny is on vacation. Grandma is impossible.impossible.hiks..."

Not long after, Savana's body collapsed. Luckily there was Steve who supported the body of his son.

"SAVANA!" Elena and Javier panic at Savana falling unconscious. Savannah was shocked by this fact. Though they intend to tell about Martha later. But apparently God can't wait to tell Savana about Martha, the grandmother who has been a lamp in her life so far. His father and mother's successors abandoned him.

"Darling, wake up, boy! Savannah!" Steve patted Savana on the cheek, anxious to see his daughter like this.

Chicago that afternoon.

Martha's residence, seemed filled with people who wanted to mourn and mourn the passing of the old woman. Savana keeps crying in Javier's arms. Why in Javier's arms? Steve had not yet arrived.

Giving her a colorful new world, even to the end Martha loved her granddaughter very much.

"Don't talk so Savana, I beg you." Javier whispered as he patted Savana on the back. Hoping for the girl to stop crying, it really hurt Javier to see his girlfriend cry. But who wouldn't be sad if a loved one left behind?

Alexa and Elena also looked at Savana with pity. It's unfortunate the fate of the child, thought Elena and Alexa, Savana's two best friends.

After Savana was rather calm, and this is where Savana is now. The girl went with the convoy of men who would escort Martha to her final resting place. A public cemetery in Chicago with a beautiful view and classified as a luxurious cemetery.

Savana's tears continued to fall, but the girl was not hysterical like before. Javier, Elena and Alexa were always there to encourage him. Shortly after, Steve came in all black clothes he ran to the Savana.

"Father..hiks..." Savana hugged her father tightly, complained all the sadness and leaned on him.

"I'm sorry papa just came, son, you're patient huh. Take care of your grandmother's departure." said Steve advising.

Savana was reluctant to leave her grandmother's grave, but everyone closest to her managed to persuade the girl and eventually they returned to Martha's Mansion.

"Honey, this is a letter from your grandmother" Steve said after Savana began to calm down and not like before. He handed over a white envelope to Savana. It contains a letter from Martha. Don't forget that there are still Javier, Elena, Alexa and Leo.

"Letter from grandma?"

Savana opened the envelope and saw a piece of paper with her grandmother's handwriting on it.
