Chapter 47: Hack Type-5
“So, that's why you asked me to disguise your AutoTerra System data because you wanted to go to the Guild ship to bring it here?”
Edrick leaned against the back of the sofa, arms crossed over his chest and legs crossed. Astan who heard it was only aware of Edrick's words. He recalled that Mavin's AutoTerra System data could not be read for incognito reasons.
If Mavin or Harnan's data is illegible, it means that the person sitting next to him is a Hack Ability user, the person who helped disguise their data both. If you can disguise the data of his AutoTerra System or someone else, most likely Edrick has mastered the Type-5 Hack Ability.
General Capability in AutoTerra System is available only up to five types. Even if the number of types is small, the level of strength of each type feels much different, the effect is different. Type-1 can only be used alone, Type-2 can be used for one other person who is a partner, Type-3 range is wider and can have an effect on one Squad, Type-4 can amplify its effects, and Type-5 includes all type effects.
The effects of the five types also have differences depending on what type of General Ability the user uses. Short examples such as the Type-5 Hack Ability can modify the original information of AutoTerra System which is known to be very complicated, Summon Type-4 Ability can call Sentry and Drone at once in a certain amount, the, or Shield and Martial Type-3 abilities that can give effect to one Squad.
Mavin slightly smiled in response to Edrick's words. “Sorry if I trouble you to bring a hunter here.”
“For what apologies? It is my duty to help the Commander and Deputy Commander,” said Edrick casually, then turned to Astan. “After all, from what you've told me, this Astan is an important person in the military as well, isn't he?”
“Aah…. You are this.”
This time Astan who responded, massage his temple when feeling dizzy when they saw they still think of him as Ash who was forgetting his memory.
“I'm still not sure if I'm the Vice Chairman Ash you mean.”

Astan melirik, memperhatikan gelagat Edrick. Walau nampak ceria, berinisiatif untuk menenangkan sang komandan, tapi bahasa tubuhnya tak dapat dibohongi. Kedua tangan saling bertautan gemetaran di atas pangkuan, keringat dingin membasahi bagian wajahnya yang masih terlihat walau tertutup masker dan topi.
Astan mengerti, Edrick ingin tetap terlihat seakan-akan tidak merasa keberatan dengan misi ini. Namun di sisi lain, Edrick menyimpan ketegangan yang cukup mendalam.
Semua anggota militer pasti akan merasakan hal itu, adrenalin mencekam ketika harus menerima kenyataan bahwa mereka bisa mati kapan saja dalam misi.
Pemburu pun juga demikian.
Harnan nampaknya sepemikiran dengan Astan saat melihat gelagat Edrick, tapi dia juga lebih memilih diam agar tidak menimbulkan kecanggungan berlebihan.
Punya pengalaman banyak selama menjabat sebagai prajurit militer, pahit-buruknya sudah menjadi makanan sehari-hari. Jadi, Harnan sudah bisa memaklumi kekhawatiran Mavin maupun Edrick saat ini.
“Jadi….” Karena merasa suasana mulai canggung, Edrick bertanya ke topik awal, “Agar Astan bisa diterima di tim saya oleh personel lain tanpa ketahuan data aslinya, Anda ingin saya mengubah data Sistem AutoTerra miliknya?”

“You will change my identity data, so?” astan asked slightly turning from behind the panel that blocked his view on Edrick.
Edrick who started to focus on reading the code just replied, “Just change from the outside view only. You can still see your real self data, but other people will see your data modified version of me.”
Astan nodded in understanding. Apparently, only modified from the outside view of the data only. It is impossible for any human being to modify the deepest system of the AutoTerra System itself.
Except in the case of the illegal experiments that Mavin had talked about in Astan. Astan himself was curious how the people of the Feron Company and BioEmerald Organization could duplicate the advanced operating system AutoTerra.
Perhaps through the mission he will run, Astan will know all the mysteries of this experiment.

Astan can read their system data, but two types of data such as weapons data and statistical data are locked.
