The Wound of a Seven-Year-Old Child.
With fear and shock still inflamed, Matteo tried to stay strong while continuing to walk down this basement road. Tears also slowly began to trickle down, the memory of the state of his parents also began to greet Matteo's mind.
Without wanting to go back, Matteo continued to walk until he found the exit, but as he continued down the street from this basement, his ears heard footsteps coming from behind. It seems like all those criminals are trying to catch up.
Because Mr. Bram said that Matteo should survive, with all his might he began to run while continuing to cry from fear. It didn't take long, Matteo managed to reach the exit and now he can meet some of Mr. Harvey's men who have the task of protecting a Matteo.
"Young master," called one of the men who was relieved that Matteo had escaped and exited the mansion.
Because the time was not right to talk to each other, the men began to hold Matteo's hand clothes, then took him to a safe place.
After trying, Matteo finally can reach a black SUV car that is provided by Mr. Harvey's men, just to save his only son. As if he knew something bad was going to happen like this, Mr. Harvey had tried to prepare all the necessary things so that Matteo could still survive.
In the SUV car, Matteo who still can not understand the situation also began to throw questions to the men of the father. Today Matteo desperately needs an explanation and also a valid answer.
"Is there anything to say? Why does something like this happen? What makes them act so cruel?" Asked Matteo with puffy eyes.
"Young master, they are all men of the Wilson family," one of the men replied, saying the same thing as Mr. Bram.
"Is there a problem as to why the Wilson family did this?" Matteo asked again looked so frustrated.
"We do not know for sure, just a few days ago, Mr. Harvey had to break the contract of cooperation with the Wilson family-owned company" said one of them.
Not yet had time to throw questions again, unexpectedly a big fire occurred. The fire that could have made the luxurious mansion where Harvey's family lived, vanished in a matter of minutes.
Matteo, who is now safe in the car with the men, can only watch hysterically this fire. Now Matteo wonders about the state of his father and mother? Why haven't they joined this car yet?
"Dad? Mother? Where are they?" Matteo asked, but did not get any answers from the men.
As if he knew the meaning, Matteo shook his head unexpectedly. His mother and father are still alive, right? They're in good shape, right? Why don't these men protect mom and dad?
"Why silence?" Despite knowing the answer, Matteo still wanted to ask just because it needed a certainty.
"I'm sorry Young Master. Our other team had time to check the conditions inside before the fire occurred and—" deliberately given a pause, because it felt unable to continue the sentence.
"Why not continue?" Matteo wants to hear.
"—and we only found the Master and Lady lying on the floor with the gunshot wound that hit the left chest," they said to tell the bitter reality that Matteo must accept.
Shortly after listening to it coming out of the mouth of one of the men, firefighters came to help put out the huge blaze that was burning. It is certain that in this fire, everyone in the mansion will not survive. It was too impossible for them to escape, despite passing through the underground secret passage. The Harvey family mansion, burned down.
A few hours passed after the terrible incident occurred, Matteo who was still in the car and continued to be prevented by the men, finally able to escape. Not without reason, it's just that now the 7-year-old boy was so eager to find the existence of both parents.
Despite being told it would be impossible to escape the fire, Matteo still has hope that his parents are alive. With feelings so devastated, Matteo ventured to get closer to this now-defunct mansion.
"Dad?"
"Mother?"
"Matteo here. Where're you?"
Call Matteo with hope, but unfortunately despite being called several times still, this place feels quiet without a meaningful statement.
Trying to force his way in the rest of the fire, Matteo's move was stopped by the police who were assigned to investigate the incident. The police gave a strict ban to Matteo not to step on his foot, crossing the boundary line that has been set.
"Little sister, stay here. Don't enter! It's too dangerous" said one of the policemen who blocked Matteo's move.
"I have to go in and look for mom and dad. They must be stuck inside, waiting for me to provide help," Matteo said, trying to deny that his parents were still alive.
"Not little brother. You can't go in. Not to make you sad, but look at the reality. How can anyone survive this spooky incident?" The police said it was trying to help Matteo become aware of the harsh reality that inevitably had to be accepted.
"Sir, please help me find father and mother! They must be inside" Matteo now pleaded for help from the police.
Not yet had time for the police to meet, suddenly the evacuation team came to tell about the situation in the mansion that had been burned down.
"Report Sir! Many bodies inside were already burned to the ground. We are having a hard time identifying it" said one of the evacuation teams.
Matteo, who just happened to be still in his place, tried to find another hope for the evacuation team.
"Is anyone still safe? Did you find out where my mom and dad are?" Matteo asked with tears beginning to fill his eyes.
"Nobody survived. We've been checking all over the place, but we can't find anyone hiding, "clearly the evacuation team can make the tears start to flow out again, wetting the cheeks of the 7-year-old boy.
Today is his birthday, but why should he get a gift that is not at all liked? Is there no other gift he can get?
Just because the fire that killed the entire mansion including his parents, Matteo will continue to remember all of these events, including what Mr. Bram last said. Wilson's family was responsible for his parents' departure and for this mistake Matteo would never remain silent.
