Baby Princess Through Status Window

Baby Princess Through Status Window
Chapter 7's

"Come in now, Princess."

The empress smiled at Siervian, even as the child stopped at the door. It was a good grace that Siervian knew well.

"I went to see His Majesty the Empress."

It took a while before Siervian regained consciousness, so he hurriedly greeted his stepmother. Still, it was not a beautiful sight as he stumbled when he entered.

“Will be wiser to speed up your etiquette lessons, Princess.”

“I'm sorry. .”

The Empress sipped her tea elegantly, displaying the posture and manners of the textbook.

Siervian's apology flowed out of his lips automatically, just like before, and his five-year-old body followed him naturally.

“Although so, you need not worry, Princess. I'll take care of everything so you don't have to make any more mistakes. ”

“Ya.”

"Come closer, come here."

The Empress, who always said that Siervian had nothing to worry about, remained the same. Always trust him, he said, and everything will be fine.

But the constant status window left Siervian puzzled.

'Negative superiority?'

As she approached where the Empress was sitting, the number did not change no matter how long Siervian stared at her.

“. . . You are also very beautiful today, Princess.”

[Cybelle Erveldotte ]

Mind: What an unpleasant resemblance.

As Siervian walked closer, the Empress would hum gently to the princess as she observed him from head to toe. Siervian was nervous as he kept thinking about all the macarons he had eaten yesterday.

Then, the Queen's gaze stopped on the blue ribbon.

[Cybelle Erveldotte ]

Mind: Ha. A blue?

Is there something wrong with the tape?

"Come and sit here."

"Yes, Your Majesty."

Siervian must answer well no matter what. He was really tense from being nervous. He had no idea what was going to happen because this was the first time he had seen such a negative liking.

He was really excited when he was on his way here, but now he has arrived. . .

"I heard that something unfortunate happened in the Princess Palace."

"Yes . .”

Siervian felt sad whenever he remembered what happened to Sarah that day.

The Empress seemed to think that Siervian's reaction was in line with her expectations, so she did not question this.

Whenever Siervian came to this palace after something bad happened, the Empress would always ask Siervian.

What makes you so sad?

What makes our daughter so heartbroken?

'Tok to be like this. . .'

Siervian looked at the Empress status window.

[Cybelle Erveldotte ]

Mind: Like ruining the scene. What a shitty girl.

Although he could not control his expression, it was a relief to Siervian that what he felt matched what he was supposed to show.

"It's my fault, Empress."

Even at the child's hasty apology, the Empress' expression remained benevolent. That was amazing.

“Sarah is a server I trust. . . Don't tell me. Is he lazy?”

“. . .”

As far as Siervian could remember, the Princess Palace was entirely under the jurisdiction of the Empress. But when he was young, Siervian did not know this.

“But I'm to blame for failing to notice everything. Will you forgive me?”

[Cybelle Erveldotte ]

Thought: I thought Sarah would be enough for such a stupid girl, so I let it go. Sarah, that idiot. This is why homeless people will always be homeless. . . Before the fool opens his mouth, I have to handle it quickly.

As Siervian continued to read through the status window, he felt his throat choking on the stark difference between the Queen's tones of concern and his inner thoughts.

“Ya. .”

On the way here, in her mind, she thought that there might be a possibility that the Empress and Sarah were the same case, that they just seemed tame.

He struggled to shake off his doubts. Among everyone she knew, the Empress was someone she could trust with all her heart.

But now, Siervian did not know what to think.

"How kind are you, Princess."

The Empress raised her hand to pat the Princess on the head. As he did so, one of his rings got stuck in the ribbon. She pulls her hand gently, but in the process, Ellie's carefully selected ribbon is left shattered and disheveled.

“By the way, Princess. Did you also visit His Majesty yesterday? Where are you going?"

Siervian always looked forward to the Empress's touch of attention, but why did her hand feel cold today?

"To His Majesty's garden."

“. . . Private garden of His Majesty.”

[Cybelle Erveldotte ]

Kindness: -100

Mind: How dare you go to that place?!

“Ya.”

The Empress' expression briefly stiffened upon mentioning the private garden. The likes, which are already negative, become lower. It was something that happened in a quarter of a second, and Siervian only saw this because he had seen the status window.

“Definitely very scary.”

Returning her face to her usual kindness, the Empress took Siervian's hand. He comforted the boy, thinking that he was still afraid of his father.

“Ya.”

Actually Siervian made a lot of good memories yesterday. His father gave him a sugar fork he made himself by magic. But when he felt the large ring in the Empress' hand scratch his little hand, he forced himself to lie.

Somehow, he felt that he needed to lie.

“You can always be honest with me, Princess. You know that, right?"

Sure enough, the Empress put on a happy smile.

Siervian used to feel comfortable hearing him say this. . but he wasn't sure anymore.

“Thank you very much.”

“Your Majesty must be scary to you, Princess. He was the pillar of the Empire, always straight and firm. It's only natural that you're afraid. ”

It was subtle, how the Empress staggered between praising and antagonizing the Emperor. Siervian could only nod, wanting to release his hand from the Empress' grasp.

Fortunately, the Empress immediately released him and lifted the teacup off the table.

"You're very kind, Princess."

He always did his best so that he could be praised like this, called a good boy. Now, he was wondering why it tasted bad when he heard this.

'I want to go.'

"In a few months, the Princess can also drink Harmin tea."

“Ya.”

Every child in the Empire is required to drink Harmin tea. This was to prevent mana from permeating the body as the entire Empire was surrounded by mana circles.

Harmin's tea means he's going to have his sixth birthday. He could not recall fond memories of his birthday, or about his tea.

'Especially my sixth birthday. . .'

Siervian remained silent as he recalled the past.

Fortunately, the prolonged silence was naturally smoothed out as the chief officer made the announcement reluctantly.

"Your Majesty, His Highness the Crown Prince has arrived."

"Oh, come in, come in."

Damian, the Crown Prince, suddenly appears. The empress rose from her seat happily and elegantly rushed to greet her.

Siervian did not think the incident was strange because he had seen this many times.

"Mother."

“For our Crown Prince to come here without notice, is there a problem?”

Recalling how her brother acted towards her during dinner back then, Siervian also got up from her seat.

Was he allowed to welcome her as well?

“I just want to see you, Mother. . . I didn't know anyone was here."

But even before making eye contact, the Crown Prince's cold and harsh tone had already pierced him. It was a loud way of speaking that was reserved only for him whom he knew well, as if he was a stranger to her, not a family member.

Naturally, Siervian's shoulder slumped as she lowered her head.

"The Princess rose to greet you with enthusiasm."

Siervian followed the example of the Empress, posing a bow as quickly as possible because she did not want to be hated.

Favorite points in the status window had already told him whether he was hated or not, but old habits were hard to break, so he did his best to calm those around him.

"We meet again, Princess."

Unlike her older brother, she was very awkward with his greetings.

The Crown Prince and the Imperial Princess were only three years away, so they were constantly being compared, from their magical power to the smallest details like with etiquette.

The Crown Prince is a genius of the century. He passed his resurrection at the age of six.

Since she survived and woke up as a very young witch, she was already trained to manage state affairs step by step at an early age.

He was an outstanding member of the Imperial Family, and it was almost laughable to compare him to Siervian, who could not even speak clearly.

What he saw last time must have been a mistake.

He felt a little hopeful after dinner with his father and brother last time, but now that he was faced with reality once again, Siervian realized that he was only deceiving himself.

"I have to go immediately."

With bowed eyes, he passed the Crown Prince to get out of the room. As expected, he didn't even see it.

But something caught his attention.

[Damian Erveldotte ]

Mind: I came here as soon as possible, but is Siervian okay?

Silently glancing at the status window, Siervian thought again that it was all too strange. Why should he rush to the Empress Palace?

* * *

"Daughter, are you feeling all right?"

"Yes." Yeah."

To be honest, she didn't, but she answered Ellie who was worried about the white lie. Every member of the Imperial Family could always express their thoughts and say that they were not fine when they were not fine, but he wanted to look strong.

"Didn't you like the doll, Your Majesty?"

"I like that!"

The sight of Siervian hugging the doll tightly sent an arrow straight into Ellie's heart.

[ Elli ]

Kindness: +30

Siervian's eyes widened in excitement as he noticed a sudden increase in fondness.

[ Elli ]

Atmosphere: Refraining from breaking walls due to its incredible cuteness

Thoughts: Our more adorable daughter of the doll. . . ! I will create a collection in memory of the daily life of our beautiful daughter. . . !

It's a doll Ellie made for Siervian. The white rabbit's long ears gently touched Siervian's small palm, and he was amazed because it was something he had never had in his previous life.

'Hugging the doll strangely relaxes me.'

Initially, Sarah remained as the butler until Siervian was fifteen.

He never gave her a doll.

That's why Siervian was so happy to receive one from Ellie. It was enough for her to forget the Empress' negative fondness for a moment.

"Hm. Our daughter is not as lively as usual. Are you hungry, Your Majesty?”

“If I eat too much, I will be bullied.”

He had eaten a lot when he was with his father yesterday, so he usually thought that he should hold back.

“This is it again, Princess. I already told you that children should eat well.”

"But . .”

Siervian tries to disagree with Ellie, but she stops herself. It was the Empress who always told him to pay attention to his figure.

"Your Majesty should forget everything Sarah said, okay?"

It is true that Sarah was the butler who acted under the orders of the Empress, but it turns out that Sarah acted that way intentionally alone.

The Empress had asked for forgiveness from Siervian, though it was not her fault. The Siervian from his previous life would be swept away by this tear, moved by the Empress's sincerity. He would think that the Empress really cared for him.

"But that's not the problem."

After looking at the Empress's status window, Siervian realized that not everything the Empress said was the truth.

In his previous life and in this life, this was what shocked Siervian the most.

“Hm, okay. How should I comfort our daughter? ”

[ Elli ]

Mind: Our cute daughter like hydrangea doesn't look so good. I wonder if he's sick. I'm concerned.

With her increasingly dark expression, Ellie showed more signs of her concern to Siervian, but since Siervian did not want her to worry too much, she forced herself to straighten her back and puffed out her chest.

"I should have found something better for Your Majesty, but I have something special just for you."

“Something special?”

“Nutritional food is very important, and I know Your Majesty is doing his best to handle himself. But here, just for today.”

Then, Ellie pulled out a tray.

That's a little cake.

As soon as he saw her, Siervian turned pale because of what Ellie said just now.

"I'll be hated."
