Summer Injured

"You did it, said Leander then stood away from Summer and looked out the window at the woman's house.

"You'll regret having rejected me over and over again' Summer said, then picked up her bag and walked out of Leander's room.

There are some things that Summer does not understand with Leander's attitude towards her. The man always looked at her with a longing gaze. Summer looked towards Leander's room and saw the man focusing his gaze only on him with both hands stuffed into the man's pants pocket.

Instantly Summer saw a heavy weight on Leander's face as she looked at him, as if Summer's life depended only on him. Summer smiled and waved her hand at the man and replied with a brief smile Leander.

Leander looked at Summer's departure, and recalled Summer's pretty face as he looked closer to almost kissing the woman. I don't know what he felt about that woman. Sometimes Summer can make him anxious and can also make him comfortable at the same time.

Although Summer was so seductive, she did not want to get married and become a handsome prince to the woman. Leander knows Summer wants him because he's the perfect guy for her. Summer had never been close to a man other than him. Even with Landon, Summer keeps her distance.

''Daddy heard you didn't sign up to continue your studies abroad'' asked Leander's father Louise as they enjoyed dinner together.

"Hmm, I postpone it another year Dad.'' Leander replied softly.

"What's your excuse? wasn't it you who insisted on leaving at that time'' asked Louise again.

"Let her decide what Leander wants to do for her future'' said Julia then poured a drink for Leander.

"You are young, and it's appropriate that you learn a lot in various fields'' said Louise who knows the wishes of her son.

"She's not the one who spends a lot of time studying and pursuing all the titles' said Julia to answer her husband Louise's question.

''And it made me fall in love with you Honey.'' said Louise clasping her beautiful wife's hand.

''I'm done. Thank you for dinner Mom, Dad.'' said Leander then stood up and returned to his room.

''She did not want to leave Summer'' said Julia seeing her son's departure.

"They have no relationship whatsoever and Summer is not Leander's responsibility Louise said in a soft voice.

''If it's Honey, they're all grown up and the one who saw them must think that Leander likes Summer' said Julia again who really wants Summer to be one of his daughters-in-law.

''We love Summer, but I don't want Leander to bury her ideals just because she feels responsible for Summer. If they have a relationship Summer should be able to persuade Leander to achieve his dream, said Louise who is still stubborn.

Unbeknownst to them, Summer is behind the walls of their kitchen and overhears all of Leander's and her parents' conversations. Summer held back her sobs and then regulated her breathing, but her tears would not stop flowing.

Summer tries to escape from her father's clutches but it is difficult because her father's strength is very strong making her arms hurt and Summer screams as her body is thrown into the glass cupboard behind her and makes Summer's body hurt.

"You're Summer's unlucky son, you made me lose the wife I love for protecting youuuu'' summer's father yelled and pulled Summer's hair and pushed her back until she collapsed unconscious with a body full of wounds from broken glass from the closet.

Leander who heard the gunshots from Summer's house jumped over her bedroom window and galloped. He panics and breaks into Summer's house. Leander was shocked when he saw Summer's father fall lying on the floor with a shot in the stomach. And Summer fainted with many wounds on her body.

Leander approaches Summer and examines the woman's body by calling Summer's name over and over again, and is grateful that Summer was not shot. But he saw the object that caused Summer's father to die near the woman's body. Leander then carries Summer's body in his cradle and takes the woman to the hospital.

Julia and Louise arrive as Leander runs out of Summer's house and is shocked to see Summer's condition. Julia screams and follows Leander, who takes Summer's body into their car.

"Dad, Summer's father died with a bullet wound in his stomach'' Leander said then left Louise to take care of the rest.

Leander felt his hands tremble as he put the keys in the car to make it fall. Julia who saw the panic of Leander tried to take the car keys and looked at her son's face.

''Let mommy drive the car, you take care of Summer'' said Julia then told Leander to move in the back with Summer.

''Mom, is Summer going to be okay'' asked Leander as they were on their way to the nearest hospital.

''Summer will be fine, he just fainted due to a hard impact on his head and was injured because of the broken glass that hit his body'' Julia replied to calm Leander.

Leander thought about why Summer could be downstairs with her father. Usually the woman would confine herself in her room when her father came home drunk.

What is Summer doing to dare to meet her father who is drunk. Leander looked at Summer's unconscious face and recalled the terrible object near her body.

They arrive moments later and Leander holds Summer inside the emergency unit. He sees his mother deftly informing the doctor who will handle Summer.

Leander waits in front of the room, where Summer is handled. The woman was still unconscious due to the strong impact on her head. Until he had to be stitched up in a place, Leander saw a bandage covering his forehead and also behind the woman's ears, when Summer was transferred to the VIP room at her mother's request.

Leander cleansed his body from Summer's blood on the clothes and his body. Then he sat down next to the woman.

Her mother has returned after explaining Summer's situation to the police officer who wants to ask for information from Summer, and Julia does not want them to stutter Summer for now.

Summer moved slowly, making Leander approach her and ask what she was feeling. When Summer opened her eyes, Leander pressed the button beside her bed and called the doctor to check on her condition.

''Summer? what are you feeling?'' leander asked in a very slow voice but the woman closed her eyes again.
