Leander's Concerns

Leander overheard the doctor talking to his mother and she became unfocused. Summer will take a long time to heal both physically and traumatized. He sees a shirt that still has Summer's blood stain as he cradles the woman. She hasn't changed her clothes because she doesn't want to leave Summer alone.

Summer was lying in bed with her pale face and some injuries on her body made her feel pain as the painkillers disappeared, and Leander heard how Summer groaned in pain as she moved. Summer fell asleep again after the doctor re-injected her.

''You have to change your clothes Lean'' said Julia to see the clothes worn by her dirty son. Mommy will keep him here. Mommy had the waiter bring you a change of clothes, said his mother again, then Leander walked into the bathroom to change clothes without saying anything

Leander stood in front of the sink mirror, he took off his glasses and washed his face with water repeatedly. He was very scared of losing Summer. The woman's shadow was smiling and dancing in her head and she was afraid that she would never see that smile again.

When Leander returned, he saw that his father and Landon were with his mother. Landon approaches her and hugs Leander and gives her strength.

"Lean, daddy wants to talk to you, said his father, then walked out of the room.

Leander follows his father and sees someone he knows is Summer's relative on his father's side approaching him.

"Leander, were you with Summer at the time of the incident? tell me, did Summer kill her father?'' ask a woman his mother's age, please,

Leander just kept quiet and answered nothing. He looked at the woman in front of him and thought to himself, Why doesn't anyone ask Summer. Everyone other than his family is just asking why Summer killed his father. Why could Summer heartily kill the person who had been taking care of her since childhood.

''I will go in and ask Summer myself, said the woman again and was detained by Leander.

"Nobody will let me see Summer except my family'' Leander said with an emotional face.

"you are not who Summer and I are his closest family'' answered the woman forced in but was blocked by Leander.

''I am her lover and you will accept the consequences if you dare to meet Summer. Try it if you dare, Leander replied and stared intently at the woman in front of him.

Louise never sees Leander with the anger shown as she is today, Summer actually makes Leander fall in love and will do anything to protect the woman.

An hour later, Leander sat next to Summer's bed after the family returned home. He saw Summer was still not fully conscious. The woman just moved a little and asked for a drink when she was thirsty, then she went back to sleep.

He stared at the small scratches on the fingers and Summer's arms were not covered in bandages.The bluish color seen in Summer's upper arms indicates that she had been firmly gripped by her father. Leander did not see the bracelet. Did Summer take it off? but the necklace was still attached to his neck.

Summer opened her eyes and saw Leander daydreaming while looking at her hand which was in the man's grasp. He moved his fingers and Leander's gaze quickly stared at him.''

''Summer." Leander called his name as he tried to move his body slowly and felt pain.

Summer whispered softly and she felt the pain of being drowned. Leander brought his ears closer to Summer's mouth and could not hear her voice.

"I'll call the doctor'' said Leander but his hand was held back by Summer as he was about to turn around.

''I'm thirsty'' Summer whispered a sign by moving her hand.

Summer felt relieved in her throat after spending almost a glass of water. And he started to speak a little clearly.

"What do you feel?'' ask Leander who's back sitting next to Summer.

"I feel pain all over my body and my head hurts a little bit'' Summer replied looking at Leander's tired-looking face.

"You get stitches in some places" Leander said then rubbed Summer's wrist. "Where's the bracelet I gave you?'' leander asked, looking at Summer's face.

"The hook was broken and I wanted to give it to you to fix it, but I pulled Daddy and threw my body away until I was unconscious" Summer said.

"You should have called me" Leander said with a sad look on his face.

"What about Daddy?'' ask Summer slowly.

''Do you not remember what happened back then?'' Leander asked carefully.

"All I remember is daddy pulling my hair and then throwing my body in a chair and hitting my head on the table. I don't remember what happened after that. I just felt that it was my end.' Summer muttered softly.

''We won't talk about it now. You need to rest and focus on your recovery first." Leander said then stood tidying Summer's blanket over the woman's body.

"You too. You should also sleep Leander." Summer ordered with a pleading face.

"I'll take care of you. Leander then rested his head next to Summer's hand.

"You don't have to do all this for me Lean'' Summer muttered softly and rubbed Leander's hair.

"You've always looked after me and protected me everywhere. You were also the first to find me, and it made me finally rely entirely on you. I'm sorry, Lean, I always bother you with all the trouble and feel responsible for me." whispered Summer who knew Leander had fallen asleep.

"Please pursue your dreams and I promise to always support you here. Blessed is Leander, find someone who can make you fall in love and come back happy." Summer continued with a corner of the eye shed tears.

A little while later Leander heard Summer's fine snoring that had fallen asleep. He opened his eyes, who had heard what Summer had said.

The woman thought Leander had fallen asleep until he told her what was going on in her heart. Leander finds out that Summer overheard a conversation between him and his parents.

Leander then brought her face closer and kissed Summer slowly because she did not want to wake the woman. Then kiss Summer's forehead a little long. He tidied Summer's hair that covered the woman's eyes.

"I've kissed you, and that means we're getting married'' whispered Leander then walked over to the window and stared out.

Leander feels that the decision he is taking right now is the right one, he will marry Summer so that the woman is protected from any party. Leander will calmly leave Summer with his parents and he can continue his studies calmly.

Summer would be safely within the reach of her family and no one would dare to disturb her. Leander will discuss this decision with his father even though it will make his father angry. Her mother loves Summer and Leander is sure her mother will agree.
