Chapter 50. Meeting Men of the Past

Kayla feels threatened with a man holding her hand who she doesn't know who. The man right behind her made her not know who yet was not a good man if it suddenly blocked her hands impolitely.

"Deliver!" Kayla brushed off the man's hand. He was about to hit the man with the karate style he mastered but the man's agile hand immediately resisted his attack.

"You." Kayla is overwhelmed by who the man who almost became her moons. Kayla, the champion of the city's karate race, must have easily crushed her bones.

"Hi" said gentle man who is none other than Rendy. His senior was at university first. But since Ziva moved the man has disappeared like a swallow in the earth after almost five years now rediscovered.

"Sister, you've been anywhere. You just disappeared since Ziva moved to Bandung?"

"I thought you were suicidal" Kayla said, holding Rendy's hand tightly.

Looking at the tears that were about to dry up, Rendy took a handkerchief in her pocket directly rubbing Kayla's face gently.

Realizing Rendy found out she had just cried Kayla hurriedly rubbed her eyes with her hands.

"I flickered just now" he said. He turned his back on Rendy because he was too embarrassed.

"It's morning but you're sad, what's wrong?" Rendy was standing next to Kayla who was staring down the street. The cars were so small from the 36th floor.

"Who's sad, I told you I was lost. Oh yeah, you haven't answered me yet, where did you disappear to?" Kayla tried to shift the subject.

"I moved to Australia, my student application for college there was accepted so I moved."

"You're great, brother, a former ketos like you deserves it" Kayla exclaimed with a smile looking at Rendy.

"You know I'm an ex-ketos?"

"Ziva he told me everything, he also regretted not being able to accept your love even though he loved you too" Kayla said unfiltered.

"Ups." Kayla patted her mouth, noticing the bar-bar talk while in front of Rendy.

"But sister, you've forgotten Ziva right, Ziva is happy. I hope you're happy too" Kayla said before Rendy deciphered her bar-bar speech.

"Lucky Ziva surrounded by handsome men from her husband, Alvin and then Rendy. What if there's not any more, I have to ask if I meet," Kayla's mind.

Drt .. drt.

Suddenly Kayla's phone vibrated making the focus of the two move to her phone in Kayla's hand.

"Sir, I'll go to your room immediately" Kayla replied on the phone.

"Sister Rendy I'm sorry I have to get back to work because my boss Mr. Alvin called me." Kayla just passed by when Rendy wanted to ask for her phone number.

Time shows at ten in the morning. Alvin heads to the meeting room with Kayla and her personal assistant Hans behind him.

"You're fine, if you're not comfortable enough Hans is accompanying me," Alvin bargained between his steps towards the meeting room. Alvin who found Kayla's red eyes was sure that Kayla's heart was not feeling well. He realized his mistake of discussing personal matters in the office.

"I'm fine, sir, it's not that I shouldn't confuse personal matters with work."

"You're right."

Kayla's words indirectly jolted her attitude.

Both Alvin and Kayla were surprised by Rendy's presence in the ranks of the leaders of the large company who will establish Joint Venture cooperation with Handoyo Group.

After the meeting, the members left the room one by one, leaving Alvin, Rendy, Kayla and Hans.

"Hans, Kayla, get back to work!" alvin's Letters.

Hans looked down and left, but Kayla was still glued to her place and Hans pulled her hand out.

"Hans, you didn't know there was going to be a third world war in there." Kayla brushed off Hans' hand that was still pulling his hand.

"You must not interfere in their affairs because our duty is only to work!" resolute Hans.

Kayla eventually followed Hans. True what Hans said, their business was not part of his job.

Kayla sits at her desk, waiting for Alvin and Rendy to worry about the events of their past happening again.

After twenty minutes, they both came out. Alvin shakes Rendy's hand before the man steps away.

Kayla rushed after Rendy who had already stepped away.

"Miss Kayla," cried Alvin when he saw Kayla running but because it seemed Kayla did not hear him.

Turning to Kayla, he hurriedly chased after Rendy who had entered the elevator.

"Wait!" his screeches. Kayla got into the elevator with a breath.

"Why do you run, does anything matter?" Rendy looked at Kayla who was still adjusting her breathing back to normal.

"I. I'm after you, sister" said Kayla in her still-suffering breath.

Rendy smiled with Kayla's explanation. "You can call me, right?"

"I don't have your cell phone number."

"Oh yes." Rendy gives Kayla her business card.

"Rendy Yuda Pratama CEO Pratama Group." Kayla reads the business card Rendy gave her.

"Sister Rendy is great, not expecting big brother but Rendy's sister went to college on a scholarship." Kayla looked confused.

Rendy smiled. "I'm just being CEO not an owner like Alvin."

"Stay you're great, brother." Kayla raised both her thumbs.

Ting

The elevator is open.

"I have to get back to the office, where are you going, get out?"

"I'm going to the receptionist" Kayla walked over to the reception desk.

Rendy waved her hand as a sign of her farewell which Kayla also replied with a wave of her hand.

Kayla looked at the genius handsome man who always dazzled her. A cool young executive appearance, a friendly smile and a very polite attitude were able to shift his sadness because of Alvin's rejection.
