chapter 7 - The Deal Again

Ethan walked to the end of his mansion. The sound of blunt force blows sounded from the training room. The man stood in the wide-open doorway and leaned against the edge of the door. The look in his eyes looked towards Daisy who was practicing Kendo. His bamboo sword swing was heard hitting very hard on Sasak in front of him. The sweat that soaked her body looked sparkling and sexy.

For nearly half an hour, Ethan only notices Daisy. From the back of his shoulder in the pat, who might dare to pat his shoulder if not the father.

"It's been over fifteen minutes you've looked at him." Said Vincent standing next to Ethan."Does that mean you can let go of Amber?"

"I've been letting go of him for a long time, Dad,"

"But you did a pretty extreme thing by kidnapping her. And it's funny that it was the wrong target." Vincent Ledek.

"I just want to know why he left. That's all." Ethan's lie, though it's not really that. The day before Amber left, Ethan knew Amber was pregnant. As long as they are together, Ethan does not deny that the fetus may be his child. But, for almost a year, Amber went with a fetus that might be her child. I don't know if he's alive or dead. Ethan doesn't know. Amber went away like she swallowed the earth.

When he finds Amber, he sends his men to bring Amber home, not because he still wants Amber. He just wanted to know about the existence of Amber's fetus. If he's alive, he'll do a DNA test. He would take the child with him after giving Amber compensation. He no longer needed Amber.

"If you're interested, one year's time is enough for Amber. Time for another girl in your life."

"Why did you come here?"

"I just miss my son."

Ethan laughed a little. He doesn't believe in his father. Ethan turned and walked away, away from the training room. Vincent follows Ethan's steps, after he had time to see again the woman who had become the object of view of his son.

After a long conversation with Ethan, Vincent returns home because he still has to pick up his wife at the hospital. Ethan is still sitting enjoying his Vodka. The conversation with Vincent made him remember his past with Amber. A woman who is gentle and cheerful. Which gives him affection and tenderness. Which introduces him to love, not mere lust. Ethan still has a little love for Amber, but remember, it's just a little.

Ethan took a deep breath. He then stepped around the mansion, without him noticing he stopped at the training room at the end of the Mansion. The sound of the blow was no longer heard. He peeked, there was no one in the room. He continues his steps again, and his footsteps carry Ethan to the door of Daisy's room. It's late, Daisy should be asleep. For a moment, Ethan was just standing there. Then he opened the door and entered. The room was quiet, no one was there. Ethan steps up to the front door of the bathroom. His hand moved to touch the door, he was surprised not to play because the door was suddenly opened. He even retreated to the back so surprised.

Daisy is no less surprised, she also jumped to see Ethan in her room. "What are you doing in my room?!"

"This is my mansion, I'm free to go in and out anywhere."

Want to get angry, but, it's true, this is Ethan's mansion. Daisy passes Ethan just like that, the girl wearing only the bathrobe turns around in annoyance looking straight at Ethan.

"You broke your promise."

"What promise?"

"Let me go for the money." Daisy's full of pressure.

"You've already signed that deal, haven't you? That is, you agree." Ethan casually approached and did not want to be blamed.

"How to sabotage?"

"You only gave me two pieces, but why did it increase in number in your people's hands?"

"You read it carefully, right? Should have been, you know." Ethan said Relax, take out some papers from his suit."Look, this is the original file. And it has been overgrown with your signature on the last page. You see?" Ethan showed me the file. "There is no sabotage, the last page is also clearly inscribed with the seventh annex."

Daisy's eyes and mouth are perfectly rounded. At the bottom of the file is written as Ethan points and says. Attachment to seven with very small letters."basically sneaky!" Mumbled Daisy."It's fraud!" Protests loudly.

"What fraud? You should be more thorough in looking at the pages and attachments of the files you're signing." Ethan sounds insulting without caring about Daisy's resentful and hateful gaze.

"Rather than talk about it," Ethan put the file back in his suit."I have an interesting offer for you."

"I'm not interested, it must be just a new trick to trick me." Cynical Daisy sneered.

"Listen to it." Ethan tries to be patient. "Tomorrow, I have a dinner with an important client. And I need a partner for that. Be my partner tomorrow."

"No way." Answer Daisy quickly.

"I said it was an offer,"

Daisy is indifferent, and crosses her arms around her chest.

"One dinner, without doing anything and dropping my image. Fifty million dollars plus exit clearance."

"All right, I agree." Answer Daisy quickly. Ethan smiled with satisfaction because this worked."But I want it written on paper. I don't want you to manipulate me anymore."

"Okay, deal." The two human children shook hands.

After perusing it and signing it, Daisy smiled happily. The two men sit on Daisy's bedroom couch with each of them carrying sheets of the agreement.

"You happy?" Ethan glances at Daisy while keeping a file of her parts.

"Heem, I can finally get outside." Daisy smiled broadly.

"You must remember, the agreement this time does not affect the previous agreement." Ethan reminded while standing up.

"Yes, yeah, I know. You sneaky!"
