THE MISSED EPS 09
The Dewi Suryakanti palace is magnificent. Compared to the palaces belonging to the human kingdom, the palaces located under this sea were much wider and larger. The palace named Karang Bolong looks luxurious outside inside, consisting of five main buildings. The largest building is the residence of Dewi Suryakanti herself, along with her ladies. The smallest building is a garage containing 8888 gold-plated, diamond-carved gems. The number eight is the symbol of the Karang Bolong palace.
On the outside, the palace has several large domes formed like the shells of giant golden snails. There is a giant park about the size of Kerinci lake with a giant fountain in the middle. Surrounded by smaller fountains with a very exotic and soothing arrangement. In the decoration of colorful coral reefs and sea plants that dangle swaying.
The inside is even more luxurious. The living room is filled with shades of gold and red. The guests' seats are made of whale bones which are crushed and then reprinted into ivory yellow ornaments with a gold layer on each carving. The floor is covered with a thick red carpet embroidered with gold thread.
The throne of Goddess Suryakanti is also shades of gold and red and a little green. The throne is so magnificent made of a mixture of black nickel with diamond grains that stand out here and there. Coated also with gold carvings that spoil the eyes of anyone who sees it.
Above the Throne is a large painting of Queen of the South Coast with her husband Prince Suta Dananjaya known as Ingkang Sinuhun Kanjeng Sultan Senapati Ing Ngalaga. There is also a smaller painting of Nyai Blorong as well as a painting of Dewi Suryakanti herself. The hierarchy shows this palace is under the rule of the Queen of the South Coast.
The Goddess herself as the owner of Karang Bolong Palace sits gracefully on her throne. In his great clothes, a green robe with gold thread embroidery wrapped around the diamond gems inside. Her face was beautiful, shining brightly as the moon. In front of him stood gallantly, Ken Darsih who looked unconcerned with all the luxuries that surrounded him.
“Sit down Ken Darsih, calm your heart,” said Dewi Suryakanti.
Ken Darsih's face was unchanged, remaining as cold as a rock.
“No need to base your goddess. Just tell me where my parents are, so I can talk directly to them.”
Goddess Suryakanti smiled. His face was so calm.
“Sit Ken Darsih,” command again.
The look in his eyes was sharp, like there was a force pressing the girl to sit down. A Dayang approached Ken Darsih and allowed the half-stealth girl to sit on one of the empty seats. This time Ken Darsih. On a beautiful chair she sat quietly.
Dewi Suryakanti patted both hands, signalling the bodyguards to bring Tusin and Daningrum into the Palace Hall. A moment later came the footsteps of several people and the sound of a heavy object shifting slowly echoed into the hall. And Ken Darsih's face stiffened with bulging eyes like he couldn't believe what he saw.
“Mother.” murmured.
Her lips seemed to be shaking and her jaw was hardened. With his own eyes he saw Daningrum walking slowly. From the neck, his hands and both feet were tied with metal chains that were so large and heavy. Ken Darsih's body flashed like a shadow picking up his mother's body. Then with one hit the iron chains shattered.
“Heyaa!”
Brak! Prangs!
Daningrum's body fell downwards. Before reaching the surface of the palace floor, Ken Darsih's two hands immediately embraced him. The body of the woman who had given birth to him quickly. With her tongue branched, she licked and cleaned the blood that soaked her mother's face.
“Si..who are you?” asked Daningrum in a stern voice.
Ken Darsih looked at his mother's face with longing. The woman who used to protect her from the distractions of those who hated her. The only woman who loved him with all her heart. A woman who always covers her body with prayers and prayers before going to bed. Without feeling her tears dripping, it fell onto Daningrum's face.
“Ke..why are you crying beautiful boy,” Daningrum said again.
“Si.who are you beautiful child. Why are you hugging me so tightly,” Daningrum looked at him full of thanks.
“Mother,” says Ken Darsih.
Daningrum looked at Ken Darsih's face deeply. The voice was so familiar to him. Slowly his eyeballs grew.
“You..call me mom?” ask Daningrum like he can't believe it.
But then he shook his head.
“Ah, impossible,” he said refuting his own heart.
“Why mom?” ask Ken Darsih.
“Your voice reminds me of my daughter. But it is impossible.”
Ken Darsih's tears are flowing. It even sounds like he's starting to sob. He seemed to be trying to hold back his feelings as hard as he could.
“No, mother is not wrong,” said Ken Darsih.
Daningrum's eyeballs were rounded again.
“You mean, are you really my daughter?”
Ken Darsih nodded his head.
“What's your name, nak?”
“Ken ..Darsih bu.”
As if there was a power entering his body, Daningrum sat up straight and looked at Ken Darsih's face deeply. With trembling hands the face of the angel girl slowly. The hand that was still covered in blood was holding tightly to Ken Darsih's two cheeks. Slowly her long-dry tears flowed back.
“Ken Darsih my son!” his screams.
His voice was so loud that it echoed into every corner of the palace. Shaking every heart that hears it. Even the Goddess Suryakanti as one of the demon queens felt goosebumps hearing it. In his embrace the child who had been missed for hundreds of years, but was now present before him with a form that was completely unknown to him.
As a child, Ken Darsih's face was ugly and horrible. His head was almost bald as it only had sixty hairs, and his mouth was almost toothless as there were only two growing. People also call him Widakro, haire sewidak (sixty) and untune loro (his teeth two). Let alone humans, even demons are afraid to see his appearance. People stayed away from him because he was so happy to be friends with snakes. Every time he passed by, there were bound to be many snakes following him.
“Pardon Ken Darsih's mother. Forgive mom..” Daningrum said while crying as hard as he could.
Repeatedly the words of apology came out of his mother's mouth. It was as if she had made the biggest mistake of her life.
“Pardon Ken Darsih's mother. Forgive mom...”
Ken Darsih hugged his mother's body tightly. On the back of the woman with affection. Giving imaginary suggestions and powers to his mother so that his heart becomes strong and not always blame himself. But the corner of his eyes glanced sharply, towards Dewi Suryakanti who was still sitting quietly on top of his throne.
And the flames of anger were like they were about to burn down the palace of Karang Bolong.
