"I mean Mama, ask about the villa, why?" ask Dennis again.

Dennis's face turned deathly, upon hearing Marlin's sniffling question, but maybe that wasn't what Marlin meant, he thought.

Dennis tangent, Marlin did not say clearly. What does he have to answer? He did not understand at this moment, what Marlin meant to him, this situation made him a frustrating stir.
