Being an Eye to My Husband

Being an Eye to My Husband
CHAPTER 1

"Dear, I'll be home at recess. You go straight to the boutique, I'll take you there."

After giving reassurance to the lover, White ended the phone call and then removed the handsfree in question. Right now, he was driving towards the office.

In a month, he and his girlfriend named Raya are getting married. I think he can't wait for that day. And in the afternoon, they will do wedding dress fittings at subscription boutiques Raya.

While imagining her wedding day, White was surprised by a motorbike traveling from another direction. No time to avoid because the distance is too close, collisions are inevitable.

BRAKKK

It sounds like a very loud crash. That was the only memory that White had stored. Dark, he was unconscious after his car had a very hard impact.

.

.

Airi, a 23-year-old woman who works as one of the staff at a company, was upset by the traffic. He looked at the clock perched on his wrist. Fifteen minutes left, he should be in the office, but it seems impossible because his car can only slow down.

He continued to grumble, even cursing traffic police who he thought could not do his job properly.

He saw a white-colored car that shattered its front.

"Oh my goodness, so the cause of this long traffic jam was due to an accident," Airi muttered. His horse fur instantly brushed. He was like that when he saw a disaster, especially a traffic accident.

Not far from the car, there is a motor matic brand of a million people of black color whose condition is also badly damaged. Seeing that there was quite a bit of blood paved, Airi hurriedly shifted her gaze. He refocused looking ahead.

"Abian's motorbike," Airi frowned while recalling the motor she had just seen earlier. Unfortunately, he did not get to see the motorbike because he was already horrified to see the blood paved. But then, he shook his head, such a bike there are many in Jakarta. Yeah, it's somebody else's bike.

Arriving at the office, Airi immediately ran towards her workplace. He hissed softly as the manager turned out to have started breefing. And that means he's in trouble. Hopefully it only got omal, not to get SP.

"Sorry sir, I'm late. It was totally jammed because of an accident."

The young manager who was leading the breefing looked to sigh. But then, continue breefing as there are more important things to discuss than discussing Airi who is late.

Airi breathes a sigh of relief. He then focused on listening to what Mr. Restu said. But arriving, his phone rang, making everyone's attention immediately on him. Seeing the fierce face of Mr. Restu who seemed like he wanted to swallow him alive, Airi immediately took the phone in the bag and turned it off. He saw that his mother called. Maybe something is left behind. Let it be, she'll call her mom back.

Finish breefing, all return to their respective places. Afraid that if there was anything important that her mother would say, Airi went to the toilet to call back.

"Hallo Ma'am." Say Airi as soon as the phone is connected. But instead of the answer, what he heard was his mother's crying voice. "What's wrong, ma'am?" Airi's feeling was immediately unpleasant.

But across the street, my mother was still crying. And her cries sounded so bitter, making Airi extremely anxious.

"What's wrong, ma'am? Did something happen?" Airi asked back.

"A-Abian accident."

The phone Airi was holding fell down instantly. His entire body felt limp, and a clear liquid started seeping from the corner of his eyes.

Not wanting to waste any time, Airi went straight to the hospital. He hurriedly walked to the ER. From a distance she could see her mother crying. Soon he approached and scattered in his arms.

"Your sister Ai, your sister," cried Bu Soraya increasingly broke. He did not expect that his son, who had permission to go to school this morning, had an accident.

"Abian must be fine, ma'am. He's strong, Bian's a strong boy." Airi held back her cries desperately. He was trying to strengthen his mother.

Not far from the two of them, stood a husband and wife. They were White's parents, the man who collided with Abian.

"Relax Mah, White must be fine," Word tried to calm his wife who was endlessly crying.

"How can I calm down, Pah, our child is not clear yet" said Nuri, Mama White.

After a while, a doctor came out of the ER. The four of them immediately approached the doctor.

"How's my son Doc?" asked Mama Nuri who impatiently wanted to know the condition of her son. "The victims were wearing black suits" he explained. He was afraid of misinformation because there were two accident victims.

"Yes, I'm his mother."

"I'm sorry Mom, the patient has to be operated on immediately, there's damage to his eyes."

Deg

Mama Nuri's body immediately limp, lucky the husband managed to hold it until it did not fall.

"What's wrong with my son's eyes Doc?" Papa Sabda wanted to know more clearly.

"The patient's eyes were exposed to glass."

The thoughts of Sabda and Nuri instantly floated everywhere. They had already imagined what if their son was blinded.

.

.

Today has been a week more Abian hospitalized. The 18-year-old got a lot of stitches in the head area and suffered a broken leg. During the hospital, her mother and sister always take care of her.

"Today Ai's on leave. I'd better go home, let Ai take care of Abian." Airi could not bear to see her mother's pale face. The middle-aged woman always refused if told to go home, she preferred to be near Abian.

"Mom's just here."

"But here can't sleep well, ma'am." Abian room is not a VIP class, so in 1 room, there are 2 patients in the middle of it blocked using mosquito nets.

"Even at home, I can't sleep well."

Airi could only sigh. Persuading his mother to go home is very difficult.

At the same time, two policemen entered Abian's room.

"Good morning" said one of them.

"Good morning, sir." Airi and her mother together. As for Abian, the young man's face instantly turned deathly pale. He believes the police came to question him about the collision case he had experienced.

"We came here to ask Abian's brother for information" one of the police said.

Miss Soraya and Airi nodded. They then let the police ask Abian for information. Not only was Abian feeling tense, Airi and her mother were the same. After almost 1 hour, they finally ended the question and answer session.

"After Abian's brother is discharged from the hospital, the investigator will provide a summons for him."

Abian's body instantly suffocated.

"Is my brother guilty sir?" ask Airi.

"According to witness testimony and road cctv footage, as well as information from your sister just now, it can be concluded if your sister is guilty in this collision case."

"How can it be negitu?" sela Bu Soraya's. "My son got hit by a car, how could he be the one at fault?" his protest.

"From the cctv footage, Abian's brother tried to overtake the truck in front of him to enter another lane. And at the same time, there is a car from the other direction until an accident occurs. It's very clear, Abian who entered another path until an accident."

Bu Soraya's body immediately suffocated, as well as Airi.

"I don't want to go to jail, ma'am" Abian cried after the two policemen came out. "Please ma'am, I don't want to go to jail. Sis, I don't want to be told, sister. I'm afraid Brother."

Soraya hugged Abian while crying. The two men cried so much that Airi could not see it. Airi came out of Abian's room, sitting pensively in a waiting chair while thinking about Abian's future fate. His sister is very young, still 18 years old, if she goes to prison, what about her future.

Airi wiped her tears. He had to go to the families of the victims, apologize and make peace with them. After all, this was all an accident, not an accident.
