BERTRANMIGRATED TO BE A VILLAIN IN THE NOVEL

BERTRANMIGRATED TO BE A VILLAIN IN THE NOVEL
CHAPTER 2. NOVEL

The protagonist of the novel 'The Saint Loved By All' is clearly a saint, both literally and metaphorically.

Her name is Catherine Bryant, daughter of Baron Bryant. When she was a child, she and her mother had a train accident. His mother died and he ended up in an orphanage. Thus, he grew up as a kind-hearted commoner.

The baron looked for her everywhere, and finally found her when she was seventeen. That's where the novel begins, following Catherine as she learns to navigate high society. With her cheerful, optimistic, and innocent personality, she attracted several prominent figures. He faces difficulties, but they are always overcome with his saint-like disposition, incredible luck, a faithful male lead, and literally God's blessing.

'Wow, my past life has bad novel taste.'

It couldn't have been more cliche. Good people win and live happily ever after, bad people lose miserably. Catherine married the crown prince, and the House of Avington was destroyed.

I wouldn't have that. God has given me blessings, and now I hold the power of the future.

I could not control my happiness and it exploded in laughter. With my knowledge, I can easily take over a kingdom, or even a continent.

"Queen Valentina Avington."

I like that sound. I can already imagine castles, statues, songs, and plays all dedicated to me. Everyone will obey my words and worship the land that I tread. Mom and Dad would be so proud.

After I calmed down from my excitement and daydreams, I began to see more practical things. I tapped my fingers on my bed thinking.

The problem of criminals starts with their stupidity. She falls in love with the crown prince, but her method of getting rid of Catherine has absolutely no brains.

These amateurish mistakes can be easily avoided. After all, I can remember the years when web novels were my only past life past entertainment. I really know every trick in this book, so Catherine won't be as lucky this time.

The best course of action is to deal with the saint before the story has a chance to initiate and arrange a political marriage with the crown prince as in the original. It was the quickest route to becoming a queen, and I wouldn't fall in love with her. There would also definitely be a way to deal with the demons that appeared later in the novel without a saint, so getting rid of them would not be too dangerous.

The main argument the crown prince gave for canceling our engagement was that I was not qualified to be queen and that she did not love me. Valentina from the novel only asks for an engagement because she loves the prince, so she does not study the academics necessary to become queen. He also hates learning, a sentiment I share. But with my past memories, I know that I can do it, if I really try it. As for the latter, there are many political marriages without love. That's not a valid reason if she doesn't meet Catherine, and I can give her a love potion if it makes her feel better.

My head hurts from all that thinking. The novel is very long, and my memory is not extraordinary.

I got out of my bed and headed to my desk. Taking a notebook, I wrote down all my previous thoughts, then recorded everything I remembered from the novel. After a considerable rearrangement and many headaches trying to recall specific details, I managed to put all the major events in chronological order.

'Ah, finally!'

A waiter knocked and I told him to come in.

“Nona, Mr. Damian said to tell you that he will eat in his room. There's a spell he wants to work on.”

“It's okay, I'll have dinner in my room too. I've been working all day, you know. ”

He had the courage to look surprised, but my mood was too good to be angry.

"mother and father will be happy."

I nodded, pleased. Father and Mother will be returning from their trip tomorrow, and I intend to surprise them. There are many preparations that I need to make, but one can be done immediately.

“Also, tell the housekeeper to train Tia as my personal servant.”

"Yes, Madam."

I fired the waiter with a smile. I've managed to turn one of Catherine's most precious allies into my own. It's too easy.

But something is bothering me. When my past life read the novel, he thought the villain deserved every part of what he got, while cheering the heroine on thoughtlessly. Maybe all the novels he's read have brainwashed him, but they still make me nervous.

However, there is one important difference. I'm not a stupid Valentina or a bad woman from my past life. I must be different, and better. I will win where they lose.

'Winners write stories.'

Valentina is a villain because she lost. There are many popular transmigration novels with villains achieving happiness and the original heroine being a true villain. When I win, I will be recorded in history as a holy queen. If I lose, I will become the most evil and despicable criminal.

That silly idea makes me laugh. After I finished dinner, I wrote a plan of action. It's pretty easy, actually. When I finished, the victory was certain.

I admire my reflection in the mirror. With my red lips smiling shyly, I look like a real villain.

It's gonna be fun.
