Chapter 93: The Arrival of Mother-in-Law

The sound of a bell that has been ringing several times stops Dew activity that is collecting dirty clothes to wash. Her husband had just left for the office, leaving Dew alone at home. 

Dew puts some dirty clothes that have been separated into the washing machine, then moves to the front door. As usual, he would first see who was visiting the house through the window. The woman let out a long sigh when she found Siska standing in the doorway. 

"What's up, Siska?" ask Dew shortly after opening the door. 

Siska looked at the owner of the house with a glass. Two medium-sized suitcases lay on the terrace. "Sorry, I'm disturbing. Dew, can I hitch a ride in your house for a while?" 

"What are you really doing?" The dew pretended not to know the incident of the expulsion earlier. Yet he saw clearly when Siska was driven out by three large-bodied men. 

"I kicked Andin out of the house. If possible I want to ride here first while waiting for an invitation," he said expectantly.

Dew put on a concerned face. But his body still stood firm without leaving any gaps in the door. "Sorry, Sis. My husband is not home and he forbids me from receiving guests even if they are women. Especially after last night." 

"But just for a minute, really. I'll be gone before your husband comes home." 

"I'm sorry once again, but I think you're going to another neighbor's house, yeah." 

"But, Dewun—" 

Without making small talk, the Dew closes the door and locks from the inside. Aby's warning not to allow Siska into the house was enough to make her more alert. 

"Gerrin also has neighbors like him." Dew glanced over from behind the window curtains.

Just about to go back to the back to continue the washing activities, the sound of the bell has been heard again. Makes the Dew snort annoyed. The woman walked hurriedly towards the door and immediately opened. 

"What else, anyway?" he said very upset. 

However, the figure standing in the doorway made him instantly bow down in embarrassment. It turns out that the one who came was the in-law.

"Mother?" The dew rubbed his suddenly red face. She warmly welcomed her husband's mother by kissing the back of her hand.

"Why do you look so upset?" ask mother. 

"It's okay, Mother. There was a madman coming here. I thought he was coming again." 

Mother circulated the view to find someone who meant her daughter-in-law. It might still be wandering around the complex. 

"Oh this .. It's okay, Mother. Just fell last night." Not wanting her in-laws to worry, Dewun chose to hide the incident last night. 

"really fell? Not because of a storm like Aby, is it?" tanyanya. 

"No, Mother!" dew answered quickly, before the in-laws thought further. "I've never had a fuss with Aby." 

"Thankful, huh. If Aby dares to mess around, say the same mother. The mother will speak." 

Dew reviews a thin smile. Then invite the in-laws to sit in the family room. While Dew makes drinks.

"You don't have any activities today?" ask Mommy.

"Nothing, Mother. So all day at home" replied Dewun, who then brought warm tea for the in-laws.

"Then today accompany the mother shopping, yes. Mommy wants to buy something for dad's birthday."

"By, Mother. I happen to have no activities."

Mother sipped warm tea made by her favorite daughter-in-law. "Oh yeah, you've got signs of contents, haven't you?"

"Not yet, Mother."

The middle-aged woman then took out something from the bag and shifted to the table. Both eyebrows are thinly wrinkled looking at the object that has just been given by Mother.

"Mother bring this for you." 

"What is that, Mother?" 

Mother put on a hopeful smile. "That's a health drink. You drink, yeah. Who knows if you will get pregnant soon. The mother is old, Mbun. I want to have a granddaughter from Aby."

Dew lowered head. The smile on his lips slowly dimmed.
