Part 179 ~ Because of the past
After a visit to the grave of Serin's father who died of a heart attack, Arnold takes the woman to Arya's house where her mother lives now.
Arnold and his mother's relationship was not okay when the wedding was going to take place. No one agreed on Arnold and Serin's marriage. But the man is still married because he got a request from Griya after Jackson died.
Seeing Serin continue to lower his head after getting out of the car, Arnold clasped his wife's hand and smiled.
"It's okay, mama must be glad you came."
"Hopefully." Serin smiled back.
Since being locked up for years in a mental hospital and getting rejected from the Arnold family. Serin's self-confidence fades from feeling he is the most humiliated person in the world so no one wants to be there.
Arnold squeezed the bell several times so that the middle-aged woman whose skin had already wrinkled at the age meal opened the door.
The man smiled kindly at his mother. "Ma, I'm sorry Arnold just stopped by now."
"Come in!" The middle-aged woman grabbed Arnold's hand but ignored Serin's whereabouts.
The middle-aged woman assumed that Arnold was talking to her because of the incitement of a devious woman like Serin.
"Eh Arnold, did Arya know you were coming?" sapa Ayra hurriedly closed her breast. The woman was breastfeeding her worried son.
"No, I'll be preaching in a minute. Ah yes, please accompany Serin for a moment, I want to talk to mama alone."
Ayra nodded her head, allowing Serin to sit down for her to talk to despite not being too familiar. On the other hand, in the room. Arnold knelt right in front of his mother because he felt guilty all along.
"Sorry Arnold Ma, but now Serin is Arnold's wife. No one forced me let alone brainwashed me into marrying her."
"But my mom couldn't accept him as a daughter-in-law, Arnold. He's a murderer and a madman!"
"Mama!" Arnold's voice was rising. The man's gaze turned cold because he did not like it if anyone insulted his wife.
"They are different, Ayra is a good woman and has never troubled anyone. Not like your wife who almost wiped out people as good as Mr. Sean!" snarled the middle-aged woman.
Arnold let out a long sigh, grabbing his mother's hand for him to hold. Pray for a miracle until his mother's heart melts before he leaves this country.
"Maybe Serin wasn't a good woman, Ma, but it was. Now he has changed."
"You like her? If you marry her for a fortune, then divorce her Arnold! Mama doesn't like it when you get married on a ...."
"I never thought about Ma's treasure, Arnold hasn't loved Serin yet, but that doesn't mean he won't love her! So please ... thank her as Mama's daughter-in-law, give her the affection that Mama gave Ayra."
Arnold kept begging his mother to accept Serin's whereabouts. The man also wants to stay with his mother, but if he doesn't get along he has to how?
Without Arnold knowing since then behind the door Serin heard the conversation between him and his mother. Serin actually caught up with Arnold because he wanted to give the phone that was left in the bag.
"It turns out that past mistakes can be bad for the future," inner Serin rubbed her rough tears.

"Serin, what are you doing here?" ask Arya who just came from the office.
Serin hurriedly wiped his tears so as not to look weak in anyone's eyes. "I was going to see Arnold, but he seems to be busy." The woman immediately left the door of the room.
Arnold, I'm going home first. Mother told me to go home for important business.
After sending a message to Arnold, Serin finally left Arya's house without saying goodbye to anyone. Not to forget the woman put her husband's cell phone on the front desk of the TV.
Although he had realized that he had done evil things in the past, Serin was still disappointed by the response others had given him.
The one who wants to accept Serin as he is is just Arnold and his mother.
