About 100 orcs were gathering and beating the gate.

Lilith shouted while pointing at the orcs, until the orcs realized our whereabouts.

I quickly used elemental dark magic.

A black dragon emerged from the sky, I lowered my hand and the huge dragon snatched the orcs to ashes.

Brull and Lilith simply rubbed their eyes in disbelief at what they had just seen while Riska only smiled lightly.

Lilith began to regain her senses and thanked me over and over again like a mantra.

"Maybe there are still orcs in hiding. Now let's see the villagers first."

I invited them to enter the village and Lilith immediately ran first to inform the citizens.

"Hello! It's me Lilith!"

The village gate that had a height roughly equal to the wall began to open slowly.

We went inside and everyone gathered in front of the gate.

"Everything! I brought help!"

Everyone stared at us, I ignored their gazes and was thinking.

Why did the orcs attack the village? what is their purpose?

I don't know this world yet but as far as I know, orcs are fierce and evil creatures and are enemies to elves and humans.

So I thought that these orcs were very hungry and wanted to eat the villagers of Nero.
