“I believe that time goes on. Time goes by and accompanies us to grow and develop. Seconds are always running, not stopping once and never will, no one will be able to move stop time even turn time.”
“I believe that everyone will change. One of the factors is due to time. Childishness, selfishness, timidity, shyness, vindictiveness, and all other traits will inevitably change over time not one exception.”
“I believe, miracles will surely exist. Like an ant falling in a waterhole, it will live, and it will live. I believe it, he will stay alive.”
“Petra Charleston Prakasa, that's the name my parents gave me when I was born, but I never even heard my parents' voices calling me by the name they both gave me.”
“Both of my parents died in an accident along with my own brother. Even I never knew the appearance of the face of my own brother.I only know the appearance of my own papah and mamah face in the wedding photos of the two of them. I think my mother is too beautiful to be born human. My mother looked more like a wingless angel who came down to earth just to give birth to this handsome child. Yes.., Handsome and Brave.”
“When I looked at my papah's face, I was like looking at my own picture when I was an adult. I think I look a lot like my papah. Although my face is indeed the face of the market and not too gudluking. At least, I'm already confident with my current appearance.”
“I live and grew up in one of the orphanages located in a small village called Haarlem and located on the border between two big cities namely The Hague and Amsterdam. You could say, this village is a marble and is between two breasts. Ehh.., that means two watermelons.”
“I live in one of the orphanages. But it's not actually an orphanage. It was just an ordinary house that was occupied by an old widow and an old grandmother. The building was previously a village office that was not used, so therefore there are still many rooms that are now used as rooms for orphans like me.”
“The orphanage only contains me. only I was there. Therefore, the old widow's mother and grandmother never considered that this building was an orphanage. They both thought that I was the son of both of them. And this is my new home for now.”
“Honestly, I was still in 1st grade of High School, and for about 3 years I was in that Elementary School, I didn't have any friends. It's not that I've never had a conversation with my classmates, but I feel like I'll be chatting with my classmates if it's important. If nothing matters, I don't talk to anyone. And that I've done for about 12 years I went to school”
“Every morning, I only do my day-to-day activities. Time for me to take a shower. Because this month is November, this month is autumn. The rain of the wind is so cold that anyone who does not wear a scarf can shiver cold. The wind is very cold because next month is December where it will snow in this village.”
“today is so cold” said Petra while hugging her own body.
Petra went to the bathroom and started the water heater. Unlike last month, around June, July and August. The third month was her favorite month. It was because it was summer time, and every time he woke up from his sleep, the weather that greeted him was so warm that he did not need to turn on the water heater again in order to take a bath and soak in the bathtub.
He spent the day as usual. It is true to be a quiet child in school, even today Petra does not talk to anyone. He only ate the food he had brought from home and ate it alone in the cafeteria garden.
The bench next to him was empty as there was no one at home sitting next to him. They all thought Petra was too quiet and never said a word while sitting next to her.
Petra was too nervous when talking to someone. Even he did not dare to look into the eyes of the person who was speaking before him. “Iya,. I know it is not polite, but somehow when I force my body to look into the eyes of my opponents, for me it is one of the things that torment the inner.”
Until he returned home, he took a shower and then entered his room filled with posters of space and planets. In fact, paint the room dark blue with a garnish using liquid typex to impress filled with stars in space.
“At least, I want to meet my family who are already far up there that I will never be able to pursue.”
*tuitt,. tiitt,. tiitt,. Petra's alarm sounds were lit in her empty room and there was no one.
Monday, 15 november 2010. 06:00 AM
“uueeghh,. uueeegghhh,. uueeghh”.
Petra spewed out her entrails in the bathroom that morning because Petra was not feeling well because she had eaten a mushroom stew made by her mother last night. Although it was not his birth mother, but Petra felt that the cooking was not too bad even though there seemed to be cyanide poison in it.
“are you okay?” mother asked a little scream from outside the bathroom.
“a-I'm fine. I've been good all right -,. ueeghhh,.. ueeghh” he said with vomit from the stomach that was still churning thrashing in Petra's stomach.
“what mom should take the medicine?” asked her mother by knocking on the bathroom door.
“that's not necessary. I just don't feel well. I don't need to drink ob-. uueegghh” he said with vomit still coming out.
“in that case, mom will make warm milk for you” said her mother left the place.
“well, thank you mah. Uueeghh..” replied with endless flowing vomit.
He immediately ran to his room upstairs and put on his school uniform. Today is Monday, he made sure he was not late to go to school.
Petra went back downstairs and found that her mother had brought her a glass of warm milk that she had put on the dinner table. The clock was showing at 06:32, it was time for Petra to go to school.
“sial, I'm already late” he cried so frantically while locking the buttons of his uniform.
“do not rush, drink your milk first so that your stomach is filled” said the mama.
“i-iya mah” he answered while putting socks on both feet standing up.
He sat in a chair and drank the warm milk until his stomach was filled so full. Petra went back to her room upstairs because her school bag was left in the room.
He then said goodbye to his mother and then walked to the outside door. Near the outside door, there is a shoe rack from shoes that will be used this Monday. At 06:40, Petra grew panicked and frightened and thought “what if I was late to come to school which is quite far from home.”
He opened the door and was about to run towards his school in the far southeast. But something surprising happened. There was a child of Petra's age who was wearing a thick jacket and wearing a hat. A boy who was the same height as Petra and could only lower his head. The boy stood at the door and just lowered his head like he had no intention of living.
“ma-sorry, who are you looking for?” petra asked as she looked at her face that was looking down.
The boy then raised his face. His eyes were so reddened and swollen that they seemed to cry too much, along with a face filled with sadness and regret, Petra was slightly surprised by the child's face being so shabby and dirty.
Not quite up there, Petra was also amazingly surprised that the man in front of her was very similar to her. His face and posture are very similar. Even Petra herself did not know whether she was her biological sister, or indeed she just happened to be similar to Petra.
But Petra couldn't take care of her twin for too long. He has no time left to take care of unknown guests. Therefore, Petra decided not to care about it and preferred to focus on not being late for school.
“sorry, I don't know you. If you want to meet the house, knock on the door. I'm already late. I have to go..” Petra said as she ran away leaving her twin.
But when Petra was about to leave him, his twin man immediately held the shoulder of Petra's right shoulder to make him stop walking. When Petra turned to her, she held a letter inside a neat, plain white envelope. Petra was so astonished at what the twin did to her.
“a-what is this? is this an invitation?” petra asked the twin in front of her.
At once the twin turned his body and then walked away from home. Seeing Petra's very strange twin made Petra a little afraid of him.
“what a thing to people. Is he crazy?. Why did he give me a letter? Can he write? Is he really not a lunatic?” thought in the heart.
In the end, Petra put her letter inside the right pocket of her pants then continued running towards school. He ran as fast as possible against the cold wind and passed through the residential area there.
In the end, Petra arrived at school at 06:58. Almost too late in 2 minutes. “ fortunately I can still run with this limp condition of my body.”
He entered the class and everyone came. He was the one who came last. As usual, Petra sat in a chair in the corner of the class. He put his bag under the table to his right side because no one occupied the bench. In the end, as usual Petra waited until the teacher in the first lesson hours entered.
After going through a heavy morning, with a sigh so deep, Petra felt that only that could reduce the burden he was facing. But Petra's mind is so unreasonable because he himself does not even know what makes her feel bad. I don't know why, but it feels like something's stuck in Petra's brain. At 09:12, the first hour of rest begins. Petra was about to pull out her school bag. But he was so surprised when he found out and realized that he forgot to put the box in the bag.
“stupid me, why am I too forgetful. Now what should I eat?” he said patting the jidat.
He thought he would buy chiki in the cafeteria. Fortunately, his money was still in his pocket right in his pants. When Petra pulled it out, there was a coin and a paper mail envelope. After remembering, he began to realize that the letter came from his twin this morning.
“ohh, yes. If I'm not mistaken, there was a kid my age who gave me this letter this morning. I thought, what's the letter?” he stared intently at the letter.
He slowly opened it. Enveloped with a feeling of curiosity, he opened slowly so as not to tear. Until finally, Petra pulled out a piece of paper that was inside the envelope.
“ehh? Whahuh? This is impossible, don't joke. What happened?” he was surprised to see the paper.
