BLOOD PASSAGE

BLOOD PASSAGE
Star Decision

I walked into the house. After doing group chores with the lira, I went straight home. Inside the house there was already a latitude that greeted me with cheeks that expanded due to her blotchy smile. I was so anxious to pinch her cheek.

“Mother hasn't come home?”

I sat down next to her while leaning my back on the wooden chair.

“Not brother, maybe soon”

I just nodded and then went to the room to change clothes.

“So I told my friend that behind her she had grandmothers coming along. But he does not believe and instead report to the teacher that I am afraid of him”

I exhaled, I should have thought about this risk long ago. But since I was busy with schoolwork and the sudden threat I was getting, I couldn't think of a solution to the latitude problem right now.

“Keep his teacher latitude says what?”

“Cuma nasehatin latitude. If not naughty as timid as friends. After that latitude is told to class”

“Mother wasn't called, right? Or is there a letter from school?”

Latitude shakes. I'm grateful at least for now that I don't have to tell this to mom, and I don't need to know about this.

“Lintang don't have to tell mom the thing earlier. Mom will worry. Can ya?”

Lintang nodded quickly, and returned to the living room to watch television.

What am I supposed to do now. I can't go to school tonight. But, I also don't want that news to spread. God what I should do.

I sat on the edge of the bed and looked down at the white floor I was on. I hope I didn't make the wrong decision.

.....

The sound of the car was heard. I went straight to the door after hearing a knock ahead.

“You want to go star?”

“Iya bu”

I finally say goodbye to my mother, after asking permission to go out on the grounds of wanting to do chores at the lira's house. Like the excuse I used the first time we went to school that night.

“So careful. Home not too late at night”

I nodded when I heard the advice from my mother.

“Well, you chose the right decision”

He brings a smile. Which makes me even more fed up with people like him.

“So what should we do tonight?”

He knitted his eyebrows, while continuing to focus on driving.

“But you should not know what you should do. Why ask me”

“I do know what I should do brother, but unfortunately I can not guess the way of mind brother whose madness level changes every time”

He laughed softly.

“Crazy? I admit I am crazy. But what's worse than just the crazy nature I have with the selfishness you have?”

His sarcastic words are able to make me silent, not because I take his words for granted precisely because I do not want to argue with people who do not want to budge. Waste of energy only.

“So what will you do?”

“Go to that room and afterwards go home”

Kevin turned to me briefly.

“So what do you expect? Brother want me to summon a ghost or an astral creature? Listen yes brother. I'm not a demon summoner. I'm just a person who was given either an advantage or a disadvantage. I don't know either. The point is I can only interact with them, see them, and listen to their complaints. That is also if the creatures happily show their form. But if the creature we came to is not like that, then we will go home in vain tonight”

Kevin just nodded without saying a word to me. Either because he resigned or was lazy to know what I said. But it's up to him. I will just do my job.

....

We are now in the school environment. The rain spot greeted us, and a few minutes later it rained down on the school grounds.

“The door is locked”

“Keep we should how kak?”

I looked down inside the room through the keyhole.

“Search for ways, so we can enter”

“Why should I, it's the brother who invited me here”

“But you also want”

“Yes if it wasn't for that silly sister threat. I won't come here”

I snorted as bad as hell. Kevin's brother took out a wire from his bag.

“Kakak is indeed talented to be a villain”

“Thanks for the compliment”

He turned to me, and began to enter the room.

“Don't just stay there. You want to be arrested by the school guard”

I walked into the room. The cold instantly burst into my body covered by a thick jacket.

“You can feel something?”

“Interested cold”

“I'm not kidding star”

“I'm also being serious brother kevin. It's cold and dark”

He took out a small flashlight from his bag and lit the flashlight. The light is just a small, dim dot. That must be a snack gift flashlight. Just as the latitude can be a week ago.

“This flashlight although small is at least useful. Not like you who clearly have the ability but can not use it and useless for our group”

I smiled cynically. Only because I have that ability can he say such a thing.

“Kak. Look yeah, I do have some pretty useless abilities like you said. If my sister wants to. I will be happy to give my abilities to my brother. Satisfied”

I stepped out of the room and slammed the door hard. Leave a sound of thumping echoing throughout the corridor. I rubbed my face slowly.

“WHO'S THERE?”

Like dejavu I was kind of drawn back to the time when we first went to school.

“Lari”

Kevin's sister pulled my hand, and I still kept staring blankly at every class and room I went through.

“Stars aware...The star...Star?”

I looked around the dark and stuffy room. The shocks on my shoulder made a few percent of the nerves in my brain work stably.

“Where are we now, sister?”

Kevin's brother put an index finger on his lips, telling me to shut up.

“I don't know either. But for sure we will be safe here”

I hugged my knees near a pile of old, dusty wooden blocks. I fear.

“I'm sure the school guard and janitor didn't know we were here. So don't be afraid”

I nodded, and remained silent. Only the sounds of crickets and frogs were earthy after the rain had somewhat subsided.

“Here is the smell of anyir kak?”

Kevin's brother approached me, and turned on his little flashlight. He kept looking for the source of the smell and after searching for a few minutes, I saw the source of the smell.

“sst!”

Kevin quickly smothered my mouth with his hand. And only a stifled scream could I do.
