After successfully covering up the case of the nurse who was attacked, Luana decided to take a break. The woman was fine, Max didn't attack anyone else. Everything was under control and Lua was exhausted, also still hungry. It was almost three in the morning and sleeping hungry was not a good idea. In addition, with a hospital that is not busy, it will be too easy. Half an hour later it was finished: Luana was in her room with a bag of blood, where she quickly devoured it.
Then he got rid of any and all traces that could prove that he was a "thief". He picked up the spare change of clothes he always left there and went to the empty room, where he bathed and returned to his room. He decided that he would spend the rest of the morning there. It was past fifty in the morning and soon at nine he had to work. He sat on the stretcher there and fell asleep again.

Even before eight in the morning Luana was already awake. Whatever Max has done, it bothers him. The woman was already dead at that moment, she was quite certain of that. How could he live if he did not have a pulse of more than half an hour? Max owes him an explanation. More curious, he left his room and went up to the fourth floor. Maybe the boy was still in the same room, because it was clean now. Without giving too much importance to the details of the place, which was completely at odds with the night before, he went to the bedroom. Without even knocking on the door, he opened it excitedly. The boy looked out the window. Luana closed the door behind her and locked it, which made Max look at her.
— Good morning Max! How's it feel? _ Said Luana smiling.
"Well," he answered, looking desperate. _ I know you want to ask about what I did yesterday ...
— Well, you're right — he said as he sat in a chair that was in the corner. _ I'd like to know how you made that woman come back to life. And don't tell me he's unconscious, because when I entered the room I checked his pulse and there wasn't even a sign of life.
The boy gulped, he looked nervous.
“I... i…
“Vampire? _ Luana said cutting it off, the boy was confused and could not move at the same time.
"How do you know?" His voice shakes and shakes.
“I just connected the dots about what you did yesterday. Is there something wrong with that? _ the boy denied.
“Are you not afraid? _ Max asked curiously, but with his head bowed.
- Why should? _ he stopped _ Maybe if I knew before I would be scared, but now I don't care. It has become something more than normal for me, even if I don't want to fit in.
Max looked puzzled by what Luana said, but was silent for a moment.
"Why would a creature like us, treated as horrible, be normal to you?"
"And where am I going?" _he looked sad at what Luana said.
“You will see Max. And I'm sure you'll love your new home. _ he said opening the door was about to leave.
— There is someone very close to you who is the same as me, Lua. Be careful, you don't know his intentions. This auntie doesn't look good to me _ Max said in a plain voice.
"By the way, how did you revive that woman?" _ he asked with curiosity.
— I use my strength. _ he said sincerely.
- Right. But it didn't happen again _ said Luana and left the room with Max's words hitting her mind.
As he returns to his office to check his schedule and retrieve his lab coat, he bumps into someone unwittingly, dropping everything he carries. While wanting to ascertain who that person was, he saw that it was Daniela, his partner.
"I'm sorry Dani!" _ he bowed to help her.
"No problem Lun. Are you all right? he asked looking worried.
- Not much, but enough _the two stand facing each other.
— I heard about what happened yesterday... _ Luana lowered her head.
“That's terrible Daniela, but it's okay now. By the way, come to my office later at lunch if you can. I need to talk to you about something...
- OKAY. Excuse me! And one more thing, smile, you look prettier. You're too depressed for my taste...
Luana smiled weakly and Daniela left.
