In the book of Mukhtashar Shahih Al-Bukhari mentioned a number of hadith prohibition of drinking liquor. The Prophet said, “Man syariba al-khamru fi ad-dunya, tsumma lam yatub minha, hurimaha fil-akhirah,”. Which means, “Whosoever drinks khamar in the world then he does not repent, then he will not get the drink in the afterlife,”.
Narrated from Sayyidah Aisyah, he said, “Suila Rasulullah anil-bat’I wa huwa nabidzu al-asli, wa kaana ahlul-yamani yasyrabunahu, faqala Rasulullah SAW; kullu syarabin askara fahuwa haramun,”.

Sayyidina Umar preached, he said, “O people, have come down to the banning of khamr. It is made of five things: wine (in one account raisins are mentioned), dates, wheat, wheat flour, and honey. **Khamar is a drink that covers wits*,”.
