Building Civilizations on Primitive Planets
42. Battles

Leading sector 3 to the east sea, Jayadi was originally about to set out to attack Alamut's forces with 8 ships only, but Torshavn who returned to Alamut brought 2 princes, who had no access to him, finally involved in the battle and increased its fleet to 9 fleets. In a narrow time Jayadi divided the troops to become the crew of Torshavn along with stock of fire arrows as their main weapon.

The sea defense got 4 guns 120 cm and finally reinforced 8 cetbang equipped with 4 fire furnaces to make fire bullets only reinforced arrow guns. This is because of the sudden preparation for war. Many of the newly produced weapons were handed over to ground defense teams.

This strategy was chosen because Alamut was not too confident with the condition of the fleet owned to get new weapons. Because with a limited time it will be in vain if the weapon sinks into the sea with the ship if it is not able to survive.

Land defenses are tasked with welcoming sea attacks and breaking them on the coast if forces at sea fail to hold up.

Jayadi in this battle was above Smyrna belonging to the lord Jumanji who was not reinforced with cannons because the physical of his ship bongsor and considered Zayn and Udin would be difficult to maneuver. However, there is 1 cetbang that can be used to deal with short-range attacks.

Previously Zayn also decided that the cetbang (hand cannon) would be used for ground defense. But ahead of the departure of all sectors in his position Zayn ordered 8 cetbang bearers and 8 companions to join sectors 2 and 3 at sea.

In addition to Smyrna Jayadi's fleet is also reinforced Freyja (type A warship) which also gets a reinforcement of 1 cetbang, in addition to this fleet reinforced 3 B-type warships (Ivar, Ivar, Aslaug and Floki) as well as 2 type A commercial vessels are the main focus of Reykjavic and Dublin.

2 The merchant ship had the main task of carrying 2 cannons and 2 furnaces because the structure was able to withstand the weight and pounding of the cannon. In addition, 3 commercial vessels type B Nuuk, Belfast and the last Thorsavn joined in the final seconds. Ivar and Aslaug also reinforced the cetbang.

Jayadi directed the entire ship to go at full speed that could be obtained westward to attack the enemy before they were attacked. Fighting at night is a difficult thing to do. If during the day the ship can provide a code of communication with the flag, at night can only be done with a whistling code.

“Cuit...” whistles heard from Freyja's monitoring officer who detected the enemy visible at a distance of 3 km in the dark of night.

Through a series of codes, Jayadi orders Reykjavic and Dublin to immediately prepare firearm munitions, Smyrna and Freyja, Ivar and Aslaug will protect them in the second row from a short-range attack with a cetbang, the rest were asked to secure the left and right flanks with the position of the fleet laid siege to Suleka's forces from east to west.

After it was estimated that the formation had already reached the firing range of the cannon. All troops not using cannons were asked to immediately fire the first fire arrow to measure the approximate distance.

“Swoossh,” fire arrows adorning the sky resuscitated most of the Suleka soldiers who immediately took a prepared position. There was not a single arrow that hit the Suleka fleet so they laughed thinking the rebels were fools who only shot at the ocean.

“Stupid and amateur. The number of ships and people are few but scattering arrows,” the grunt of Prince James saw the first attack Suleka greeted laughs his soldiers. Unconsciously the first arrow attack is not serious and is only intended to estimate the distance. The cannon troops saw the distance of the fire arrows that fell into the sea was almost half between their distance and the Suleka soldiers smiled with satisfaction knowing the ships they were covering were within firing range. The lighter holders immediately did their job when the firing order of each commander of the gun shoots (pumped) was shouted, “tembaakk”.

“Duaaar” 2 fire bullets spewed Reykjavic and Dublin cannons. A few seconds later it appeared that the attack had hollowed out and burned 2 enemy Type A battleships.

“Prince of our ship is on fire,” the soldier told James, “quickly extinguish and let's get our ship to them, immediately counterattack after reaching the range of the arrow,” said James who was then forwarded in a series of whistling codes to the rest of the Fleet.

“Soldiers point ships to the next ship, let's save their crew first, let's save them,” shouted James to the soldiers on his ship seeing the large ship next to him not only burning but starting to tilt towards the south as cannon fire also tore the hull slightly below so that water began to enter.

On the other side Jayadi then gave the order, the Smyrna and Freyja soldiers were on high alert and ordered Dublin and Reykjavic to continue firing his cannons.

Dublin and Reykjavic fire bullets once every 30 seconds. Within 5 minutes of the fire bullet attack all the shots hit the target and 4 out of 18 enemy ships were confirmed to be sunk and 3 other ships were burned severely. There was 1 Suleka ship that was hit by more than 1 cannon shot.

This attack made the formation of the Suleka ship fall apart and made them lose their morale of combat and full of confusion. Seeing this, Jayadi immediately ordered Smyrna and Freyja to sail near the enemy until they reached a cetbang firing range.

Other ships were also asked to approach so they could shoot Suleka's ships with fire arrows. Within the next 5 minutes the sound of gunfire from the cannon, the cetbang was hammered followed by a fire arrow that began to be fired. The Suleka ships all now appeared to be on fire starting to panic and frustrate. Instead of counter-attacking, they were instead seen heading North towards the coast to save themselves.

Alamut attacks on Suleka ships that are still floating at sea continue to be carried out until 1 by one Suleka ships sink to the bottom of the ocean. Half an hour of war lasted saw 7 ships Suleka managed to reach the beach with bad conditions with a blazing fire.

Jayadi immediately ordered the entire fleet to follow the enemy to the coast and attack them fixed from the sea. 1 Hour battle 18 assault ships from Suleka were confirmed completely destroyed and hundreds of soldiers fled to the mainland and disappeared in the darkness of the forbidden forest towards the interior.

Due to the order to immediately return to Alamut when the entire ship was sunk, Jayadi did not chase Suleka soldiers who fled into the forest or evacuate hundreds of enemy soldiers who were adrift in the sea, they immediately returned and prepared to help the other sector battle.

On the other hand only 2 incense sticks traveled westward from the sea battle site. Suleka army soldiers had stopped hearing the thump alternately from the ocean behind them. Prince Tomi, who leads the army, thought something bad was going to happen considering what happened in the capital Kebongede a month ago when a bang like that killed dozens of palace guard soldiers.

But he did not bother and ordered his 1000 soldiers to go ahead and attack. Until after a long walk some soldiers mired in the excavation of ponds covered with camouflage plants. It is unexpected that there are many pointed spears piercing anyone who fell. “arrghhh. please,” the cries of soldiers who fell into the pits alarmed Alamut's on standby forces finally realizing the enemy was coming from the darkness of night and entering the perimeter of their firing range.

“Swossh before long hundreds of fire arrows flew towards Suleka soldiers who came and made the location bright. Shortly 4 hwacha soon followed releasing spears and arrows towards Suleka soldiers in the open whose location was marked fire arrow “Arrgghhh... mama oh mama.”.

Horrifying cries from Suleka's army in pain rang out from the eastern sector mainland. Kipli who led then ordered 4 hwacha immediately reload to then along with 2 cannons move forward towards the enemy accompanied by new weapon-carrying soldiers. “All troops stop, 4 hwacha shoot. swooshhh,” Kipli direct his troops.

Actually the morale of the Suleka forces led by Tomi had weakened, but saw Alamut forces advance they then also participated in advancing, too, yet again hundreds of arrows and spears came about them “Argggh” shouts from the direction of Suleka warriors in pain.

“2 hwacha that still has the rest of the munitions immediately reload and then go forward to follow the formation,”command Kipli.

After reloading the hwacha back forward and the enemy troops appear to be running close to their formation, “Stop and fire hwacha,” Kipli's command. “Swoosh, arrhgh.”

“Shooting cannon,” command Kipli, 2 cannons then firing canister bullets towards Suleka soldiers. “Reload while moving forward and keep firing,” Kipli command.

The other troops finally felt bored because only Hwacha and Meriam were given a chance to show. The 24 new weapon-carrying soldiers including 10 horsemen reinforced slag and muskets also feel bored have not got a chance to attack.

“Rear Admiral, until when we just move forward without having to say anything, the archers who use ancient weapons have even done the action,” protest Tunggul Wulung.

“Sabar Tunggul Wulung, we did an effective battle. Is not tomorrow masuh there is a follow-up attack, well that we must be aware not to waste resources,”, said Rear Admiral from Faranina country.

When Tunggul Wulung protested to Kipli in the distance, there began to be the sound of screaming. “Please stop us giving up,”

“New weapons squad, it's your turn forward. The cavalry carried the musket and the slag in front. The Arquebus army behind him. Carrier chu ko nu following. Cannon in position. The rest of the army prepared a sword to go forward to subdue and tie up all the enemy troops that surrendered at hand and foot with a tear of their clothes. New weapons team is responsible for securing the surrender of the enemy, shoot each one against,” orders Kipli.

Up to 10 minutes later one by one the enemy is tied. “Door,” warrior carrying Arquebus shot dead one of the enemies who was about to fight when it was about to be tied up. “Lift to show your good faith, before we start to craze,” Tunggul Wulung yells at the crowd of Suleka soldiers who surrendered. “Doorr,” Tunggul Wulung musket barks deathly to the person who does not immediately show hand signals.

“Mr servant found the prince also gave up,” said one of the soldiers began to bind the prince Tomi. Tomi was about to fight the man who would tie her up. But the sound of firearms and the fall of hundreds of casualties on their side left him unable to fight back.

“Immediately collect those who are captured, separate the high-ranking ones, comb and count all the bodies of the enemy and enter in the hole that was the place of their initial warrior trap, then burn and ground cucumber then," Kipli.

The ground battle on the west side lasted not half an hour and then continued for almost 4 hours due to the collection of prisoners and bodies of the enemy.

Kipli captured 512 enemy soldiers including the prince Tomi and killed 310 others. While hundreds of others are unknown.512 of the captives were then led to the sector 4 post where Udin led the women and children and 29 Johnny loyalists guarded the headquarters.

The sector 5 battle in which Supreme Court Justice Giman led the troops, was different from the strategy of Kipli who tended to wait for the enemy to arrive.

When the commando began to launch Zayn. Giman brought troops to move relentlessly westward towards the forbidden forest land.20 men with 10 horses armed with 6 slags and 4 muskets were asked to advance and advance into the depths of the enemy forces.

“Doorr dooorr dooorr,” the sound of gunfire alternately messed up the ranks of Suleka soldiers who came from the west. After half an hour of ransacking the Suleka line and troublemaking the 10 horsemen immediately returned to the formation that followed them to move west.

The Suleka troops who saw 10 Alamut horses moving away immediately shot hundreds of fire arrows to the east and illuminated the land.6 horses land and fell including 8 Alamut warriors who then lay.

When 4 horses reached the formation, Giman immediately stopped the troops, “formation stopped, hwacha prepared. Fire arrow troops shoot.”

The fire arrows did not hit a single Suleka warrior as it still did not reach the range and only aimed at measuring the distance and illuminating the battleground. But the Suleka soldiers continued to advance unprovoked by using the shield formation. Giman looked at the shield formation then prepared a round cannonball to destroy their formation.

“Booom,” cannon fired round bullets many times after the shield formation began to enter the firing range of hwacha and each hit the formation then the formation was scattered and thrown from the ranks. After several formations of Suleka warrior shield broke, Giman immediately ordered 4 hwacha shoot repeatedly until the ammunition ran out and made hundreds of people scream in pain from the stronghold of Suleka “arrgghh,”

After the hwacha bullets ran out, Giman ordered the troops back forward including the cannon troops and protected the shield. Seeing the Alamut warrior advancing, the Suleka troops who could still fight welcomed the arrival of the Alamut formation by continuing to shoot arrows.31 Alamut troops who lost quality were knocked down by arrows. Seeing that Giman issued a stop order.

Giman then ordered the soldiers to return the archery and the cannons fired canister bullets. “Duaarr.” After a few cannon shots, Giman ordered the soldiers to return using a shield and move forward, while the remaining 4 horses carried out a wing attack using 2 muskets and 2 chu ko nu. Behind the horsemen 4 men ran quietly carrying chu ko nu dam 12 arquebus.

When the Suleka soldiers were about to reply to the arrow attacks, they were startled from both sides of the firearm and short-range arrow attacks that were very fast and repetitive and disperse their concentration to attack the bailk.

"Dorr dor dor", the sound of heavy gunfire became Giman's signal to order the archers and cannons to attack.

“swoosh boommm swosssh bomb.”

“Generhahh,” shouted Giman. “no akaannn life Sulekaaa..” reply enemy soldiers. The battle continued, Suleka troops initially amounted to 5 times the number of Alamut soldiers in this sector and then the number less until finally when Giman felt the number of soldiers was balanced. Former Supreme Court Justice Suleka then ordered his soldiers to come forward with spears, swords and bayonets.

When there was no resistance from Suleka's side, Giman then ordered the capture of the enemy who was still alive and someone immediately ordered the captives to dig a hole and bury the bodies of their friends.

Of the 1,000 Suleka soldiers who attacked the western sector, 724 were killed, 182 were taken prisoner and dozens of others are unknown. On Alamut's side they lost 6 horses and 41 fallen soldiers. Among the soldiers who died was Tumenggung Kamto right hand Andi Keling who was grounded while riding.

We turn to naval battles in the western sector…

Sector 2 in the west sea supported Udin from the beginning using drones carrying grenades containing sleeping gas. Alamut had 24 sleeping grenades in Rihlah which then left 22 after 2 pcs were used to seize Ragnarok and Stockholm.

At the beginning of the battle Udin circulated drones to monitor the east side and saw troops at sea and land facing Suleka forces with ease, eventually directing the drones to the west side of the ocean. Out of boredom he finally handed over the reins of Sector 4 command to Rena and walked carrying the drone to Rihlah which was anchored at the estuary.

“Udin said you were here,” said Zayn. “You also why silence at the estuary does not help other sectors? Ask Udin. “I am still waiting for emergency call flare from the ocean, if there is no flare is not Rihlah in the strategy in charge of securing the estuary,” replied Zayn. The naval fleet has been equipped with fireworks flares that can be lit with fire to signal if they are hit by danger.

“Let's sail east to Zayn, don't we still have 22 smoke grenades sleeping. We better follow up Andi Keling's fleet before they sink the enemy ship, why don't we hijack the enemy ship like I did in Sumberurip,” said Udin.

“18 ships yes.. sounds good, skuy,” said Zayn who then sailed. In Rihlah there are also Anna, Rani, Gina and reinforced 2 units of AR 15 and SIG P938, while the shotgun is mandated to be carried by Dona and Doni who guard in sector 4 as headquarters.

Rihlah immediately sailed close to Andi Keling's fleet at high speed and then ordered the fleet to stop rowing through loudspeakers.

“Stop the cruise, we will defeat all enemies without fighting,” Zayn said while Udin flew a drone carrying 2 pieces of sleeping grenades.

1 by one grenades were thrown at the enemy ships in the rear so that those in the front did not realize that their fleet was attacked.

The plan was successful and all the ships were hit by sleeping gas. But not all of them fainted asleep, some of the ships also still have crews who are nauseous and suffer from gas.

“I have cleared Zayn, now order Andi Keling's fleet to board to disable the enemy and bind them,” Udin said, which Zayn then forwarded to Andi Keling through a loudspeaker.

The war goes on with a resounding glint. Andi Keling captured 1211 Suleka navy soldiers by hijacking 18c of their ship, 19 Suleka soldiers were killed for not giving up when Andi Keling's troops boarded.

Judge Giman as we told him earlier managed to capture 184 soldiers, killing 724 enemies with the remaining dozens of enemies whose positions were unknown. But Judge Giman lost 41 fallen soldiers and lost 6 horses killed on the battlefield.

Kipli managed to win the battle and captured 512 soldiers including prince Tommy, they also killed 310 soldiers and hundreds more unknown fate.
