Can It Be Us?

Can It Be Us?
JUST ABOUT FOOD

Ashana breathed out. He pushed slowly through the door of Achazia's room when he asked the man's secretary that Achazia was inside. Slowly he opened it and immediately found Achazia sitting down while reading a book.

Adrian who realized the presence of Ashana immediately rose to his feet. The man smiled. "I think I should go."

Achazia turned to Adrian who was looking at Ashana with a smile. He stood up and walked over to Ashana. He put his hand on the girl's waist.

"See what you are?" Achazia ketus. His treatment was shocked by Ashana.

'He's why the hell? Why me too? Why is it my heart that beats faster like this?' Batin Ashana.

"none. I'm going out anyway." Adrian said and then left Achazia and Ashana. The man blinked his eyes at Ashana. Making Achazia ride apitam.

Achazia turned Ashana's head which followed Adrian's steps. "Why are you staring at him?" Angry at the man.

"I'm just--nothing, it's nothing." Said Ashana who didn't know what to say.

Achazia pulled Ashana's hand to follow her. And Ashana followed Achazia's steps. It turned out that the man took her to sit in the chair that she used to sit in. Ashana widens both eyes.

"Why you--"

"Don't argue." Achazia said flatly and Ashana was instantly silent.

Achazia called someone Ashana didn't know who. The man chose to stay away from there to talk to the person across the phone.

"It seems I really love him. Oh my God how is this..." Ashana rubbed her forehead. He began to understand all this. Why suddenly his heart beats is not because it is near Achazia. Why would his heart suddenly feel happy if Achazia had already smiled at him.

"I'm in love with the wrong person." Mumbled again.

Not long after that Achazia walked over to Ashana with a small, etched smile. "Wait a minute. They're coming." Achazia's words made Ashana frown.

"They're who?"

"You'll know later." Achazia. Without Ashana's consent, the man lifts Ashana's body and sits on the chair Ashana was sitting in and puts Ashana on her lap. It did not escape Ashana's shock.

"Achazia you-"

"Is something wrong? I'm your boyfriend?" Speak Achazia while taking the laptop on the table and put it on Ashana's lap. Leisurely the man continued his work while putting his chin over Ashana's shoulder.

Ashana who was silent, was secretly comfortable with what Achazia did. The woman remained silent with Achazia who was busy with her work. Until the sound of the door being knocked is heard.

"I opened it." As Ashana was about to get up, Achazia immediately held the woman's hand. Ashana is sitting back.

"I'm just." Achazia stood up after putting Ashana back in the chair. The man walked towards the door to open the door. After speaking for a while, Achazia turned around with two people following her footsteps from behind. The two men brought a lot of food.

"You should eat Ashana. Come." Comehere."

Ashana walked over to Achazia who was already sitting on the sofa. After putting all the food on the table, the two men walked out of the Achazia room without saying anything.

"Why so much?" Ask Ashana.

"Why? You don't like it?" Achazia looked at Ashana who made Ashana turn her head in fear.

"It's not. I'm just afraid this food won't run out. Honey if it's thrown away." Ashana.

"Do you love food more?" Achazia asked sharply and innocently Ashana nodded.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Why?"

"Because they're filling." Answer Ashana.

"Then?"

"Then?"

"Ashana thought again. But with a slightly longer duration. "Because they're essential for survival."

"Then?" Achazia further sharpened his speech. Resisting anger because food managed to defeat him.

"Mmmm...." Ashana thought back and shook her head. "It's possible. Just that."

"I hate food." Achazia muttered while turning her face away. Makes Ashana frown.

"You why?"

"Why can he get my love without doing anything?" Achazia's upset that makes Ashana more confused.

"I don't understand."

"The food. Why do you love him? He didn't do anything!"

Ashana stared at Achazia's face and the food alternated. The woman smiled as she understood Achazia's intentions. 'Why is he so stupid?' Ashana murmured in the heart.

"It's only natural that I love food. Because I need it." Ashana.

"Do you have to need something then you're gonna love something?" Ask Achazia and Ashana nods.

"alright. What am I supposed to do to make you need me?"

Ashana scratched her unitchy temple. Why is it so complicated? He was confused what to say. "How is it?"

Achazia awaits the continuation of Ashana's speech. Ashana is confused as to what to say. His brain turned around thinking of the right answer.

"You're different. You can't be confused with food." Ashana.

"What is the difference between me and food?"

"If food can be eaten, then I need it."

"If I?"

"If you---" Ashana was at a loss for words. How to say that which will not get him in trouble. He was confused as to what to answer. Why is Achazia so complicated? Only food can be this complicated.

Achazia. "You didn't answer. Yes I understand. You don't love me." Said the man and stood up. He walked towards his seat of power.

Ashana stared at Achazia's departure. Why was that man angry? Didn't he ask Ashana to be his girlfriend? More precisely negotiating. It's natural that Ashana doesn't love him because it's just a decision to satisfy each other. Ashana who can go home and Achazia who made Ashana his girlfriend. Yes, though, in her heart Ashana did not agree that she did not love Achazia.

Ashana walked over to Achazia. "Achazia, not like that. I'm just---"

"Get out of my room."

Ashana's steps came to a halt before reaching her destination. He looked at Achazia who was starting to focus on his laptop. Why does it hurt?

"You're telling me to come out?" Ashana asked to confirm Achazia's speech.

"Are you deaf?"

Ashana chuckles softly. Why is Achazia changing so fast? "Come Achazia. It's just about food." Ashana tries to persuade Achazia.

"I don't care. I said get out, means get out." Achazia emphasized the last two words.

Ashana breathed out. Normally he would come out, but somehow he didn't want to go out. Even so, he remained out of Achazia's room with a mixed heart. There was pain, disappointment, sadness at the sound of Achazia turning sharp and driving him away.
