CHAPTER 20

The morning sun's rays shot out from behind the bedroom window, a beautiful silhouette of shadow passed through it gracefully.

The smell of food spread throughout the room.

Rose was carrying a bowl of chicken porridge made by her, Gabriel who last night suddenly fell ill from exhaustion making Rose stay up all night to take care of her.

"How do you feel, feel better?" rose asked as she touched Gabriel's forehead which was no longer hot.

Rose then sat down beside him and fed him the porridge.

Gabriel sat down excitedly as the early morning had already received extra attention.

"Thank you" Gabriel said, holding Rose's hand to feed her again.

"Let's finish your meal" Rose replied as she blushed

After finishing his breakfast Gabriel who felt better immediately took a bath.

Rose who was busy tidying up the flowers in the garden was startled by Gabriel's embrace from behind.

"Are our gardeners unable to do it?" Asked Gabriel who was struggling spoiled on Rose's shoulder.

"Hmm Dear Mr. Rowen I do it because I love it, so don't take the hard-working gardener with you"

"Alright .. let's raise the salary"

Hearing that Rose was very happy and did not hesitate to give a warm kiss on the cheek of her lover.

Gabriel who got a kiss suddenly blushed his face.

"Then I'll raise his salary again"

Gabriel said generously.

"Pfftthh .. if the gardener gets a 3x raise then I'll sign up to be your gardener right now"

"Where there's such a thing, you can simply be Mrs Rowen"

Gabriel's Spontaneous remarks made Rose's ears feel hot and successful in making her heart explode like fireworks.

"Do I deserve to have that name behind my back??"

From a distance Rose noticed Gabriel who looked serious with the call.

Rose waited for quite a while but suddenly Gabriel left without saying goodbye and looked very hasty.

Rose continued to notice Gabriel's distant figure and left with his personal driver.

Rose tries to contact Gabriel but the phone is turned off.

He seemed worried by constantly pacing around in his room and kept trying to contact Gabriel but remained the same.

Until midnight Gabriel hasn't returned yet.

Rose was getting more agitated, she sat leaning against the head of the bed with a blanket covering part of her body, she kept looking at the phone in her hand hoping Gabriel gave her some news.

At 03:15 Gabriel returned and looked surprised to see Rose still waiting for him.

"Gabriel ..." Rose said before her words were cut off by her.

"I'm tired, let me rest" said Gabriel, who went straight to sleep, turning his back on Rose.

Tears involuntarily fell soaking down Rose's cheeks that sat watching Gabriel's back .

His disappointed feelings had waited for so long but felt futile.

Rose got out of bed and went back to her own room and locked her up.

He cried all night and fell asleep and had a bad dream.

He sees Darshon coming back after him but someone who is not so clear shot him and made Darshon fall down and die.

In the dream Rose tried to chase after the helper but her footsteps were heavy and the figure was like walking so fast and then disappeared from her sight.

Rose who woke up from her dream only realized that it was 09.45.

He remembered last night and was disappointed again.

Rose then covered herself again with a blanket and wanted to laze around.
