CHAPTER 40
Rose fell ill, Zact came with a doctor to check on her.
"Did he often feel dizzy or nauseous lately?" ask the doctor while examining Rose.
Nuna who was behind Zact interrupted the doctor and Zact's conversation.
"It seems I've seen Rose vomit a few times and sometimes she looks weak and pale"
"Hmm so most likely if she's pregnant"
"WHAT!!!" squeak Zact and Nuna together.
"To be more accurate you can take him to the hospital for a blood test"
Nuna and Zact nodded in understanding.
After examining Rose the doctor then resigned, Nuna and Zact came out of the room.
"If Sister Rose is pregnant so is Mr Rowen the father of the child she is born with?"
Zact who got the question could only be silent, his head seemed to want to break a surprise, besides Zact was also confused how to convey the news to Rose.
Zact then tells Nuna to look after Rose, she wants to go to calm herself down.
Rose who had just woken up, saw Nuna sitting waiting for her.
"Thank God sister Rose is awake"
Rose who was still weak asked Zact for whereabouts.
"Where is he?"
"Sister Zact is out for a while, I don't know where he's going either" Nuna explained.
On the night that Zact came home, he hesitated to see Rose.
He stepped upstairs and kept silent while in front of Rose's bedroom door.
When Zact was silent the door of the room opened, Rose appeared from behind the door.
"Zact .." call Rose.
He then took Rose to the balcony, Rose looked confused but she complied.
"Sit down I want to talk to you" Rose sat down and listened to Zact speak.
"Are you feeling better?" tanya Zact opened the chat.
"Yes "
"Rose haven't you felt anything strange in your body lately?"
"You mean??"
"Em like this, you feel dizzy? stomach ache or whatever?"
"Yes sometimes I feel that way, is there something?"
"Yes .. that ... the doctor said you ..." Zact hung up his sentence hesitatingly saying it.
" I why?" rose began to wonder.
Zact who like locked his mouth is difficult to open his mouth.
"Zact speak !"
"You're pregnant" Zact said spontaneously and left Rose deeply shocked .
Rose was sitting limp in her chair, she could not imagine what would happen in the future.
Zact clasped Rose's hand and looked at her with pity.
"Rose you have to tell Gabriel, it's not too late now"
Rose immediately pulled her hand from Zact feeling disapproving of her remark.
"No, I'm not gonna say it"
"Rose this kid needs his dad" Zact said, trying to convince Rose.
"No, it's over, I don't want to destroy anything right now"
"But you're destroying yourself" Zact shouted impatiently.
"Zact leave me alone"
Zact pushed the chair he was sitting on hard then left Rose as he wished.
Rose held her flat stomach, she felt like a dream, inside her stomach was a life.
Tonight Rose didn't cry, she was happy even though she lost Gabriel but she had the best thing Gabriel had.
I don't know what serenity possessed her that she felt all her pain disappear.
He promised to take good care of his son even if he was not with Gabriel.
Rose then went into the room and slept soundly.
The next day Rose was already busy in the kitchen making cookies.
Zact who saw it was astonished because Rose looked very cheerful.
Zact thinks pregnancy will make Rose worse but it makes her very happy.
Zact was relieved to see Rose cheer up again, she caught up with him and apologized.
"Rose sorry for last night"
Hearing Zact's apology, Rose smiled and replied casually.
"Yes I know you're worried about me, but I'm fine, this little angel in my stomach right now is my reason to be happy every day"
Hearing that made Zact very happy and moved.
"I'll take care of you"
"Thank you Zact "
"Are you going to reopen the store today?"
"Yes I will share this cake for free to every visitor who comes"
"Do you need anything??"
"No, but if you could help me bake these cookies it would really ease me"
"Allah ... Where is nuna?
"Ah I'm asking for help buying some exhausted materials for stock"
"Em Rose .. It's better that you don't push yourself, if you're so exhausted then it's not good for your womb, because it's still so small"
"Every boss" said Rose, who was greeted with laughter by Zact.
At night in Sanor Gabriel was sleeping and dreaming.
He was in the playground, he stood looking at a mother accompanying his daughter playing, yet their faces looked faint.
The girl suddenly came over to him and took his hand gently.
He brought her closer to his mother, but not until the sound of the phone broke his dream.
In a fit of annoyance Gabriel answered Medi's phone call.
"Hey does any bride sleep till this hour?" Medi shouted from the phone, which made Gabriel spontaneously keep the phone away from his ear.
"Basic bullies" said Gabriel grumbling.
"Hurry and open the door to your fucking room!! nagel Medi.
Lazily Gabriel opened the door and was immediately surprised to find Medi carrying a group of people behind her.
"Who are they!!" Screaming Gabriel holding his suddenly aching head looked at Medi who was like a circus troupe.
"Hey it's their young master who will help you prepare" Gabriel then noticed one by one of them who had brought various needs of the groom.
"Make them all get out of here"
"If they leave and you're not ready Joanna will hang me"
"Hufth .. leave those things, I'll do it myself"
Medi then instructed them all to put the items in the room and told her to leave.
"Is my mother there?" Gabriel asked as he lit his cigarette.
The medi who saw Gabriel smoking was instantly shocked.
"Yes aunt has been there with Amber, but since when did you start smoking!!"
Gabriel did not comment on Medi and left her in the bathroom.
In the bathroom Gabriel was standing in front of the mirror, he turned off his cigarette and noticed himself, he suddenly remembered his dream, the small hand holding his hand gently still felt, Gabriel then noticed his warm palm.
"Why did the dream touch my feelings so much and because of that dream I was able to sleep well last night"
Gabriel, who has had a hard time sleeping since Rose's departure, is sleeping normally for the first time.
Gabriel then immediately took a shower and prepared for the wedding venue.
